Pella Lifestyle Series windows are designed with removable grilles, which can be removed to make cleaning the glass easier. These grilles add architectural interest and help maintain exceptional energy efficiency. Pella Lifestyle windows are available in wood, fiberglass, and vinyl options, including removable grilles and between-the-glass grilles.
To remove or replace the grilles on the inside of your windows, watch a video or review the instructions taken from Pella. Wood windows help add architectural interest to your home, while vinyl windows offer various patterns and colors for grilles. Pella’s Lifestyle Series Wood Casement and Double-Hung Windows let you choose between simulated divided lites (SDLs) with or without spacer bars. Grilles-between-the-glass are permanently sealed between a window’s panes of glass, allowing for smooth glass surfaces on both the inside and outside.
If you have difficulty removing or replacing the grilles, visit https://www.pella.com/support/request-visit/ or call 473-5527 to find a Pella service. Choose the look of true-divided-light, removable roomside grilles, or make cleaning easier by selecting grilles-between-the-glass.
Removable Roomside Wood Grilles are attached to the interior side of your windows with latches. To open the hinged glass panel, raise the shade so it is in the fully open position and locate the latch releases near the top of the Hinged Glass Panel (HGP).

So we were really excited about getting Pella windows in our house, until we got to the project closing. I experienced what best could be described as “deceptive” financing. It seems that the head honcho gets a bonus by compelling his finance team to not deliver on the promised 24 mo same as cash option. I must say it felt like a used car sales room. “My” sales guy did his best but in the end the fellow in charge of the financing had no interest in my needs at all. Pella can say what they want but they pick thier financing partnerships and this choice reflects poor ethics.
I have Pella designer series windows, about 4 years old, with shades inside. One of my shades will not lower completely. The handle is at the very top and the shade still 8 inches from the bottom of the window. I’ve looked inside and the handle that moves the shade up and down appears to have both ends of the track attached to is so I dont understand how I can adjust this. Can you provide advice on how to do this? Maybe it was installed wrong and we just never really noticed? (We dont use this shade often) thanks for a reply
