To obtain weapons and outfits in Horizon Zero Dawn, you must leave the Embrace at a point during the Main Quest A Seeker at the Gates. Once you reach the Main Embrace Gate, you will find a merchant standing nearby where you can claim these items. In the Complete Edition, you have tokens for the Nora Keeper Pack, Carja Trader Pack, and Banuk. To check if your version of Horizon Zero Dawn includes any special DLC items, go to your inventory and check the DLC options.
To unlock new outfits with the new DLC, navigate to the outfits tab in the pause menu and select any of your unlocked costumes to wear. Horizon: Zero Dawn Outfits completion checklists help you reach 100 completion. You have tokens to redeem at a trader for the DLC items. You can redeem the outfits and weapons after finishing the proving, at any trader outside The Embrace.
Resource DLC packs can be redeemed at any merchant in The Embrace or outside it. You can pick up these items from merchants outside of the Nora Embrace and The Cut for free under Buy > Treasure Boxes. Your new armor and stuff is located above the “cut”.
If you are new to the game, you have a long way to go until you are even able to get the Outcast outfit. You can purchase new outfits at merchants throughout the world as they are unlocked. The Nora Lookout Legendary Outfit can be purchased from the Fleet’s End Stitcher for 2000 Metal Shards and 8 gold coins.

For the people who continue to use this article or for the new viewers. If you don’t see 6 tokens and only 3, that is because those are tokens for boxes only. Complete the Proving then go to a merchant next to Nil, and go to Treasure Boxes category and you will find the Bows and Armor from the DLC free of charge.
I think I found the solution when playing the main quest a seeker at the gates- there is a merchant by the bridge leading to a big gate that takes you to Varyl. There you can obtain the bow and gear for the banuk and carja. I think this is what the complete edition promised. Or you might be able to get this from any merchants outside the embrace.
Alright, I’ve got the answare to your problems guys… I always loved the idea of playing this game and after some years of its release I bought the “Horizon zero dawn complete edition”… So you have these weird purple or pink or even some green tokens in your inventory from the begining of the game and so you heard that you just have to go to a merchant and trade them for some “special boxes” you did that but when you opened the boxes there were only some (awesome) resources inside, no bows, no skins, no armor. Well your token didn’t go to waste neither your extra money for the ‘Complete edition’… If you had pre-ordered the game years ago when it firstly came out YES the tokens would give you these awesome skins n’ shit… BUT now with the Complete edition it doesn’t go that way, you gonna get these skins and better bows (yes it’s a bit pay 2 win but the game has 6 different difficulties to choose so it doesn’t really change the way you play) when you are almost 8-10 level, when sth bad happens in the story (I won’t spoil) you choose to leave the “safe” places and travel away to find something, then you gonna see new merchants that will have these “mystery super special wow” boxes for you on the “buy” option and it’s gonna be 100% free, no trade, no materials needed, nothing. This game is one of the best games I’ve ever played and I haven’t even finished it yet, Playstation hits are just the best!! Hope I helped someone out there that just got the game some years later and doesn’t have any idea on how to get free things yet.
So I just bought the complete edition that specifically says you get 2 armor sets and I have the game 100% completed, but when I started up it only game the tokens for the materials not the armor, anybody has any idea why that is? I finished the whole game before buying the digital complete version, and I had the base disc version when I did
I bought the completé edition (digital) it must incluye ***Carja storm Ranger armor and striker bow ***Banuk trailblazer armor and culling bow Banuk traveler pack Carja trader paxk Nora keeper pack But i just recieve 4 treasures not 9 as your vídeo This is my first time.starting horizon zero dawn… Can you help me unlock free weapons and armors (*** banuk and. Carja)that comes.with the completé game edition? Please
Also I thought you were going to say the DLC weapons that’s what I came here for but you didn’t show any of them I guess I’m going to have to try to find them myself I’m not seeing them anywhere I see people using them but I don’t see them explaining how they get them maybe it’s in the story and I haven’t got that far yet I wonder if you get that if you play Ultra hard and you get better loot if you would have saved those 4 New Game Plus
Ok so I just finished the proving and was just able to ride a strider for the first time, once i got to his point i remembered i had DLC stuff from when i preordered. So i entered in my key code on the playstation store and it says installed. But i have been to every merchant in the beginning area and no one has my stuff my stuff anywhere on their menu? Did i go too far into the game already or what? can you only get you DLC at the very beginning? really getting frustrated
Kinda titled that they saved the badass looking armor sets for preorder/deluxe editions. I wouldn’t mind getting these from a special shop in game that requires rare ingredients or something. Stat wise they are eclipsed by their medium/heavy versions but aesthetic wise they are great I personally like the look of this banuk outfit better then the heavy banuk set in the base game since the one in game just features just one solid trenchcoat design while this still looks badass and doesn’t hide her form . Carja set looks to be the most accurate. Carja’s are suppose to be front line warriors but you get an outfit that has your whole torso exposed or you get another carja set that is 90% silk. This thing makes you look like a walking tank. Only thing I didn’t like was the stealth outfit, the base game won on that since it looks more like a guille suit and Aloy wears a headband instead of that marowak helmet lol
Thus came free for everyone on ps4 recently (it I doses the complete edition as I did get the digital art book) and I’ve been to karst and and he doesn’t have these boxes ( I do have the tokens) I’ll add specifics when i play again and would appreciate advice on if I can get these outfits now. Thanks
