  • The camera person is cracking me up because why are they so up close to your face. LOL 😂 😂. Beautiful place. I love lamps in your bedroom. Beautiful home and beautiful person. God bless you. A lot of people actually shop at TJ Maxx well HomeGoods but it’;s the same. I will say don’t sleep on Walmart 😂 because it’s a little cheaper.

  • Your decorating style reminds me of Rececca Robeson. She is on YouTube and was offered and HGTV show but she wanted to control her own business and has done youtube articles for over 20 years. I think she has several million subscribers. She likes the symmetrical style of decorating with double of things like your 2 elliptical mirrors above your night stands. I am an RH fan as well and you Def have that vibe in your apt.

  • BTW . I make several comments on articles I like as I watch. I pause and comment. I wanted to tell you I love the gifted arched mirror in your bedroom. Have you seen the thin envelope like risers stand for floor mirrors. They are very thin, so they do not take up space or interfere with door openings. You slide your mirror into them and still see almost the whole mirror all the way to the bottom, but it allows you to raise the height of the mirror without having to hang it on the wall. That way, the top of the mirror can be raised to the same height as your door threshold.

  • Just so wonderful! There are so many people, young and old, who would give anything to have a lovely home just like this. It’s so beautifully done. I’m 76 years old. The only thing I would add if it were mine would be a basement or walk-in storage room for linens and things like activity supplies for things of interest and things needed for caring and maintaining such a home and room for seasonal belongings, as well as a bathtub. I would not be ungrateful for a home just like this one. It’s just that after 76 years of life I have come to realize that things like I have mentioned are important to fill one’s life with meaning beyond the basics. Thank you for all the hours of hard work put into showing us this wonderful creation.

  • I think I have to pass on this tiny home. I think it is hard to add a second bedroom under the 600sqft, unless done through lofts. I love the exterior vibe but after evaluating the inside to many little things are missing. Once you but the plans your architect is gonna have to fix them anyway. The only place for utilities like HVAC system is one of the closets and the same goes for electrical panel. Your hot water on demand is gonna go in the bathroom or kitchen in a cabinet. The fridge is going to replace the tall cabinet and probably the one next to it, like half. So at this point you have lost a lot of storage. Note I suppose you could use the attic space for storage or the hot water, but what a mess if it leaks. Then finally you have no laundry which would have to go into the closets as well again taking up valuable real estate in storage. I think a re-lay out of this into a single bed room would be better or adding just a few feet in length would give the space needed. Again just my opinion.

  • These kind of houses are very common here In south of Brazil, very affordable and very easy to build, they are usually built in countryside areas and they fit the environment perfectly, they’re good for small lots. I’m just saving money so I can build one of those for myself to live in the countryside. They’re tiny, but at least I won’t be tied to a mortgage for 35+ years

  • Very conventional layout. Much like the tract homes built in the ‘60s all over Southern California. The kitchen table placement would drive me nuts. Unless you could move the entrance over five feet or so you have it in the only place it will fit. Otherwise the kitchen is just super. Two beds, one bath, easy as pie. Nice minimal home. Now, build these in a factory, help folks with site prep and building codes and off you go. People are crying for something at this cost that isn’t on wheels aand set to take off in the next tornado.

  • Having lived in a smaller home (822sqft) w same bathroom size here are a few changes we made that increased storage space. On the wall to the left of the sink near the door we added some picture frame shelves from IKEA. Leaving a gap in the corner just wide enough for cords. It’s the perfect width for face scrubber and electric toothbrushes. I also kept our perfume, deodorant and aftershave lotion. Helps keep the counter clear. Floating shelves are cute but not much storage. We put a cute medicine cabinet on the wall above the toilet. Plus a towel bar across from the toilet so we had our towels hanging when we exited the shower.

  • Yaaaas love the design. I would change a few things such as the table being in the counter top because it does seem to take up space so maybe just getting a breakfast bar might be better. I would also scale down on of the bed in whichever room is bigger to make closet space whilst using the other room as an office/washroom etc

  • Not the real cost for materials to build it, but I like the look! I’d build two of these as a guest house for out of town family/friends who visit. Obviously this would be a nice little solo place to own on a small property or perhaps with a significant other if you couldn’t afford a little extra space.

  • ” you will own nothing and be happy” Klause Schwaab. The man who owns everything but I’m sure he wouldn’t be happy if he didn’t own everything. My son and my brother live with me in my house. My house is big and I’m disabled from polio vaccine, but I can walk with the crutch and I just feel overwhelmed by it. I’m not wealthy, It’s just a big house that needs upkeep. I really have to stop perusal this kind of stuff. my brothers partially disabled, my son almost deaf. I’m older and I feel responsible for them. My husband died five years ago. I love them, but I feel trapped. I’m thankful I have a roof over my head, but I should be in a better place mentally. there are people that are really bad off and I can feel ashamed for saying that but that’s why I feel. And I don’t even know anybody here where we moved. I’d love to have something like this on my property and let them live in the house and I’d live in the small place. If something happened to me my son could have the house moved and get rid of the big house. Dream on.

  • This is a great design for seniors if it allowed for wheelchair use. One good thing is that it is flat. No steps to get to the front door like many of them have. You could probably build any of them on a slab. Not all seniors are in a wheel chair but I was for an extended time after a serious ankle break and discovered how important that is. Cute flat house.

  • Clever design, but more thought should given to storage esp in the bath. Does not appear to be a medicine cabinet or shelves in the shower for soap, shampoo or other liquids. Possibly wall cabinets in the bedroom. We cannot see the inside of the closets. Are there shelves and drawers? Finally no laundry at all so an impractical house. Where are the mechanicals ie Heater, AC and Hot water heater?

  • This is so great. My goal is to provide homes like this for people like my brother who is on SSI monthly income that is capped at $914.00 a month. They can’t afford deposit nor do they earn 2-1/2 to 3x the rent to afford decent places to live. I would love to partner with you under a “Memorandum of Understanding.”

  • Beautiful house. I would have wanted more space in the bathroom, and less space in the bedroom, preferably with a murphy bed, which worked as a desktop, and therefore made the second bedroom work as an office too. In the kitchen, I would probably want a (what do they call them?) Instead of the table, I would like that the counter kept going and “flowing” down on the side. I’m a single person, I only need 1 seat. 😅 There looks to be good storage in the kitchen, but I would like a little more in the bathroom, for towels and such, especially enough room for a washing machine. 😊

  • Is this a DREAM or REALITY??? Just when people try to buy affordable living…these companies jack the prices up from $11,000 to 100k🧐😠. It’s hard to take companies seriously when they hook you in the beginning with a low starting price and then jack up the price. If your TRUE to your WORD…Tell us HOW WE CAN GET this type of home for $11,000 without the BS.

  • In the PHILIPPINES maybe! In the US, it’d cost about $20,000 and like all “tiny houses” under 1200 sq. ft. “unfit for human habitation” under HUD guidelines. Why do you think they torn-down and “renovated” tens of thousands of “efficiency” apartments??? Oblama made them Illegal for Section 8 under HUD guidelines, so landlords, unless they’re renting to drug-addicts or felons who can’t live anywhere else, or illegals who’ll live 15 to a two-room shack, HAVE to compile with HUD guidelines or get FINED!!! No City/County in the US can LEGALLY ZONE a “Tiny House” either!!! The Shitty of Tulsa is trying to force us po’ folks into accepting 5-8 “Tiny Houses” of “homeless” on the vacant lots in our area, turning vacant lots into homeless camps we can’t burn-out easily!!! Until they put the homeless next to the mayor’s $7 million dollar mansion-SCREW THEM IN THE ASS! BTW, he doesn’t even live in TULSA, he lives in a suburb, hypocrite!!!

  • Our government built “tiny homes” post-war for our veterans and fledgling families. They were typically paid off within 5 years, costing $11,000-$22,000. I live in one. It is 600 square feet, with 24 square foot laundry room (addition) and 250 square foot detached garage. Our government used to invest in us, but too many roads with high maintenance costs, space shuttles and a multi-billion-dollar military budget per year, while SLASHING wealth taxes, means every penny was blown and can never be made up for. My home goes that far back, but twice as wide.

  • I love your designs however I don’t know where you’re coming up with those price points. I recently converted a 24×20 detached garage into a ONE bedroom apt. I budgeted $24,000 and in the end it ended up at about $31,000. And by the way, I have a pantry, laundry room, and full size fridge ( I also have plenty of cabinet space). The model you’re showing here might work for an AirBNB but seems impractical as a full time home. Even though we downsized greatly I still had to purchase an 8×12 shed for storage.

  • As a single woman I would love something like this, I plan to downsize hopefully soon. Houses like this would solve a lot of problems especially with the economy right now. A coworker mentioned that he pays $2,500 for an apartment in Orlando and another coworker said he pays $1,800 I was in shock. I know rent is expensive but my God. The only thing I would do differently would be to add an attached garage, with the entrance to the kitchen for safety and a laundry room with storage. Other than that it’s perfect. ❤

  • This house for 11 thousand bucks? Yeah right, maybe 25 – 30 years ago!! Make it one bedroom. Make the bathroom bigger for a bathtub also. Then the second bedroom would be much smaller as not to be a bedroom but the place for washer and dryer plus also storage spaces! One bedroom is enough for such a tiny house!

  • This house is too small but I absolutely would love to own a micro house in a small micro home community with clean neighborhoods, a yard bigger than my house between me and all surrounding properties. A basement. Concrete everything with paneling. A upstairs. I’d like to stop seeing apartments, no more abandoned old houses, no more trailer parks. Just, mini houses built to efficiently use space without being THIS small. But if something this small had a basement, and a upstairs… well, maybe.

  • These homes are okay, but they’re just not practical. You can’t even fit a regular sofa. Or a regular bed or bedroom set in the bedrooms. There’s no need for them to be this small. They could be slightly bigger. Maybe a 100 square feet larger to. Get everything in all these homes are. A gimmick in people are falling for them

  • Might be ok for a short stay hotel or guest/grandparents house, but impractical to live in permanently. Poor use of space. I saw annoyances in every room. Especially the bedrooms.: One person has to crawl over the other to get out of bed? Nope! Bedside tables for each side. Make the beds in the bedroom raise up to the ceiling so you can use the bedrooms as office/creative space during the day. The toilet & shower are a straight shot from the front door? Oh hell no! No tub? Should also have at least a second half-bath (toilet & sink room) for guests or emergencies/failures. Flip the kitchen wall where the sink is 180° so you can look out the window when doing dishes at the sink.. Then put more cabinets on either the windows over the sink and put more cabinets along the back wall where the sink used to be. Don’t make the table fixed. It’s more useful if it can be moved. Also: Storage, storage, storage! There is not enough in this house! Where does the furnace & water heater go? Or use a tankless water heaters to save space? Washer & dryer? Stack them. No room for visitors? Add another couch or 2 chairs at 90° to the couch on the wall in living room. And add lots of shelves on the wall where the TV stand is and let the TV screen drop from the ceiling (use a projection TV) or let the TV raise up from the table or something. Make the TV stand into a chest or cabinet that runs along the front under the shelves. Get rid of the half-porch and extend the house all the way along the front edge using that space, then make the windows bigger and able to be opened wide, maybe swinging up outside or inside, to bring the outside in.

  • Ok who is building this in Maine for $11,000 ? Please 🙏 contact me. My idea is an open plan. Making it just two main rooms. Full bath and open bedroom, living and kitchen area. More like a tiny kitchenette area. Bedroom and living room would be just one meshed area. Also, love the basic black and white look.

  • This is a lovely little house. It really looks like a home. I did notice a couple of things that brought up questions. With the Kitchen sink on the back wall. Wouldn’t it have been simplify the plumbing to put the bathroom behind the kitchen? I understand that with the way it is payed out in the plans, the bathroom in between the bedrooms affords some privacy between them. It also means though, that with the placement of the front door, coming inside, one looks straight into the bathroom. Shifting either the bathroom, the front door, or both, would still allow for a greatroom, it would just need to be redesigned a bit. Are the bedrooms the same size? If so, were those full size beds or queen? Placing the bathroom behind the kitchen would make it possible to design the back left bedroom a bit bigger, to create at sense of a master bedroom, that would allow a queen size bed, the second bedroom could still sleep two with bunk beds. I think it would be a great idea to have a another option with a a single, much larger bedroom. Again, that would enable concentrating/simplifying the plumbing, with the bathroom being behind the kitchen. Actually, why not have all three designs available? I imagine there are folks whom the design in the article would suit to a tee.

  • This is in Mexico? Price is in pesos? Is there availability here in the US States? Very nice layout. Where is the refrigerator? No air conditioning vents? No air handler outside? Fire hazard!!! No back door! What are the prices for 1 acre of land to put the house on? We need more information, please!

  • Something like this could actually fit in my backyard with room to spare for a nice vegetable garden could use it as a guest house my house was built in the 70’s has 5 bedrooms laundry/full bath and 2nd full bath upstairs. But the yard we could actually build something like this for guest or even to rent . It’s a thought……..

  • Beautiful house and here in where I live (Indonesia), it’s not considered as a tiny house. Many people have this kind of house, as the kid grows up, additional rooms can be added. But with $11k, it’s not enough even only for the building (materials + money to pay for the workers), let alone the expensive land, house paint, the terrace, beds, furnitures, kitchen set, shower etc. and the appliances. It’s lucky if we can get a good quality walls, doors and windows and roof and floor with only $11k.

  • I have a few questions but this house is beautiful just perfect size for one person or two. My questions are… Where do you put the refrigerator, water heater, heating like the furnace, and I would need a washer and dryer. I want you to work dryer in the winter time now I like to hang clothes out on the line. I can afford this. Why aren’t you showing the blueprints? Could you please answer the questions? Still beautiful home

  • 🤔 I don’t understand what is the draw if this tiny house ?? … If you just do a little research and do most of the work yourself .. even if it takes a year you can build a bit hike for like 35000 to 60000 grand… So instead of getting a home loan … Get a regular loan and then build it.. aside from having the foundation made the rest is easy

  • Love it!! I am a single mom with a 10yo child and rent in my area outside of Seattle is almost 2k a month. I cannot live like this anymore. What do I need to do first to have something like this? land first, right? then what, a shed? get a contractor? I know nothing about this, I am all by myself and started to look into it. I would love some positive help.

  • I think its cute for a couple only or single parent. But I’d have to build on to it it really needs a laundry room and maybe add a 1/2 bath or full bath with a tub. It will increase the cost and monthly rent or house payment. Or just build a community of these for affordable housing because housing in so unreal and homelessness is on the rise because units that are being built and rented out for $1500 a month is not affordable for those that live paycheck to paycheck and need to rely on government aid just to put food on the table. And this should be offered to seniors who are being forced to move out of their apartments to make room for for more affordable updated housing which is not affordable for seniors that live in a limited income. So think about that.

  • I always wonder. I wonder why a friend who just spends a few hours using the restroom and a place where the people who live there get naked and clean themselves are in the same room. I think tiny houses are great because they lower the cost of air conditioning and house cleaning. I don’t know if this would be comfortable on a snowy day or in desert areas with temperatures as high as 120f.

  • This would be the way to go so why can’t a tiny home neighborhood be designed like trailer parks are? I haven’t checked into putting a tiny home on property, but last I knew it was a big hurdle to overcome depending on where the location is. Perhaps the planners need to loosen up the rules a little?!

  • When I went to Etsy the plans are no longer available. This makes me really sad. Idk if the OP will see this comment but I have a piece of land and would really like to build this house if it truly only cost 11,000 to build. I am serious and would like to purchase the house plans. They aren’t on your Etsy anymore tho? Is there any way I can get this?

  • I wish homes like that would be rent to income restricted residents. I know a lot of people don’t rent nice places because of those who destroy the properties. However I know many people who are rich live like trash. Just know there are some of us who are not rich at all, but take better care of our rentals than the owners themselves.

  • my plan is to buy rural land and finance something small like this, notable is the second bedroom because i also want to have a space to either rent out to a friend or if necessary have a place to help someone get back on their feet. quiet rural living in a small home with lots of natural beauty is my dream.

  • From a capitalistic standpoint, this wouldn’t be a bad investment as a sort of “first headquarters,” so to speak. Decent, relative size. Desk area with multiple rooms. Running water. Heating/Electricit $11,000 for the floor plan plus another $1500-$3000 for labor and you have yourself a decent little location.

  • was there a stackable washer and dryer in one of those bedroom closets? Where does furnace and water heater go? Doesn’t look like there is an on demand WH. How about a dishwasher? Maybe a Fridge? Is that a pantry or a fridge to the right of the oven. I am going to call bullshit on the $11-15K USD. This looks like that is the cost in the Philippines in USD. I’d break ground this weekend in Iowa for a cozy bungalow at me acreage. As much as I like the 2nd bedroom for flex space I think the idea to make that the bathroom/mechanical room and convert the bathroom to a laundry/mud room with a back door to garage or car port. But I do not handwash dishes. lol

  • 452 sq feet. Like living in a garage. Unfortunately, when builders build places like this, they cram them in so tight next to other houses and make the population density so thick that people hate living like that. All that noise and rudeness, dogs barking, and some people are just pigs. It isn’t a cool way to live. Now, if you could have this on a nice spacious lot of more than a couple acres, sure. Might be nice.
