Are Vegetarians More In Tune With Nature?

Vegetarianism can reduce water usage, land usage, and greenhouse gas emissions, improve food security, and compare the environmental impact of different types of vegetarian diets and animal products. Health is the most common motive for non-vegetarians to consider vegetarian diets, and it has a broad array of benefits. A vegetarian diet can reduce carbon footprint but not necessarily food miles or waste. A meat diet can be sustainable if production systems are ethical and sustainable.

A vegetarian diet can reduce the dietary environmental impact of high-meat eaters, with vegans having 30 of the dietary environmental impact of high-meat eaters. Plant-based alternatives (PBAs) are increasingly becoming part of diets, and their environmental, nutritional, and economic implications are investigated. The most natural instinct is to eat what you find and what you find. Vegetarian diets can provide improved individual health, a more sustainable environment, and a more humane approach to inter-species. Vegetarians are more pro-social than omnivores and tend to have more liberal political views.

This review aims to present an overview of the background, conceptualization, features, and potential effects of vegetarianism in all quality of life domains. Vegetarians are more pro-social than omnivores and tend to have more liberal political views. In the outdoors, the spell gives knowledge of the land within 3 miles. This review also explores the concept of commune with nature, which can provide facts about areas where it cannot function if the nature surrounding those areas is not healthy.

Is being a vegetarian actually healthier?

Vegetarian diets are gaining popularity due to health benefits such as reducing heart disease, diabetes, and some cancers. However, some diets may be too heavy on processed foods with high calories, sugar, fat, and salt, and may not include enough fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and nutrient-rich foods. A vegetarian diet can meet the needs of people of all ages, pregnant or breastfeeding, and requires awareness of nutritional needs to plan a suitable diet.

< h2>Do vegetarians have better mental health than non vegetarians?

A study conducted in Peru found that vegetarians had a significantly higher mean depression score (2. 82 ± 2. 74) than non-vegetarians (1. 88 ± 2. 36). Additionally, 26. 8 of the vegetarians reported symptoms of depression, compared to 18. 9 of the non-vegetarians. The study compared the symptoms of depression and anxiety, emotional eating (EmE), and body mass index (BMI) in Peruvian vegetarian and non-vegetarian adults. A cross-sectional study was conducted on 768 Peruvian adults, with 284 being vegetarians and 484 being non-vegetarians.

The Depression Patient Health Questionnaire-2 (PHQ-2), Generalized Anxiety Disorder Scale-2 (GAD-2), and an EmE questionnaire were applied. Simple and multiple linear regression and Poisson regression models with robust variance were used to evaluate the association between depression, anxiety, EmE, and BMI with dietary patterns. The results showed that vegetarian diets were associated with increased symptoms of depression and anxiety, as well as lower EmE and BMI scores. Further longitudinal studies are needed to elucidate these associations and determine the causality and underlying mechanisms involved.

Is it ethical to be vegetarian?

Vegetarianism is an ethical choice due to environmental concerns, as animal agriculture contributes to deforestation, water pollution, and climate change. Plant-based diets use fewer resources and have a smaller carbon impact. A search of English-language literature using databases like PubMed, Google Scholar, Cureus, and other open-access journal articles was conducted to include relevant studies on vegan diets, ethical veganism, animal rights, plant-based lifestyles, animal exploitation, and the impact of animal agriculture.

The review article aims to discuss the benefits, challenges, lifestyle impact, and nutritional concerns of the vegan diet. The PRISMA flow diagram of the review outlines the screening process for articles used in this study.

  • I’m 57 years old, I became vegan after perusal Bambi when I was 7 years old. Believe it or not I did not know animals were meat at 7! Conscious eating should be taught in the schools. I was told I was going to die for choosing not to eat meat or caged hens or cows raised as veal from the dairy industry. When after 10 years I heard the word vegetarian and knew I was going tosurvive after all! I have no chronic disease or pain, and am in excellent health where as my whole family has died before me. My biggest ethical pain is my carnivore and omnivore pets…. looking for advice on that one. Thanks for listening. Be brave newbe vegans! It’s sooooooo with it!

  • Most land used for raising livestock is not arable and we would be wasting that land. And most of the food that livestock consume is not edible to humans. And the waste given off by animals make up 50% of fertilizers. So it would lead us to either fallowing arable land or using more chemical fertilizers

  • My vegetarian daughter inspired me, Cowspiracy made me question that I wasn’t doing enough, What The Health appealed to my selfish side and turned me vegan before the credits rolled and Dominion made me a zealot. Vegan for two months now, feeling great, loving life and wondering how to convince my friends and relatives (including my vegetarian daughter) without becoming THAT annoying vegan. The cognitive dissonance is amazing. I suggested to my sister, who is a cancer survivor, that she watch What The Health and she agreed. When I told her that it would make her vegan, she refused to watch it. perusal people squirm to avoid the dissonance is amazing and I say this as somebody who suffered from it until very recently. But great to be part of this community. As an atheist, I just wasn’t finding myself despised and distrusted enough!! lol Now I’m thinking of having t-shirts made: “Atheist vegan. Yeah, I don’t like you either!”

  • It’s this simple: We don’t need to eat meat, not one bite our whole lives, to be fully fit and healthy (just ask the growing number of world-class athletes who have embraced veganism). So eating meat is done solely for pleasure. In other words, by eating meat, we are knowingly inflicting pain, fear and death on innocent victims just for pleasure. If that isn’t the definition of cruelty, what is?

  • I did it for curiosity! I just wanna try out to see how I can get rid of the long cold with raw food (vegan)! Then I looked up about recipes, then I watched what the health! I had not known that how the animal agriculture treated animals that way! I grew up having chicken pigs and ducks but we didn’t do horrible things to them; the only thing we did was to eat them when we need! Anyway I’ve been vegan since! My health is better! Now I eat raw and cook vegan food but I don’t have to take any medicine as many of my high school classmates do! I love animals more than before and it’s hard because some wild animals destroyed my garden! So I try to grow more in my urban lot to feed my family and some extra for the animals!

  • Here’s my reasoning for why I’m not vegan : 1. Animals eat meat, so considering we are animals too technically we are just another carnivore 2. Some slaughter houses’ methods are actually quite humane compared to animals ripping apart their prey 3. Meat just tastes better than other food that they suggested in this article 4. People eating meat is just the cycle of life Thanks for reading my list btw. I just wanna make this clear that I am not trying to convince anyone, I am just simply stating my opinion. P.S. : If I explained this bad, sorry I am not very good at explain stuff lol.

  • Stole this from another article Do vegans care about billions of insects being sprayed with insecticides on the fields used to grow their soy? Do they care about field rats and moles being torn to shreds by farming equipment? Do they care about even more rodents and insects being killed during the storing stage? Our livestock is no longer that wild animal we first domesticated thousands of years ago. After countless of generations of selective breeding they are biological machines designed by humans to provide them with nutrients. If you release our farm animals back into the wild they will not be able to readapt and will simply go extinct. Vegans are probably those people that step on bugs because they are scared on how they look. I personally don’t kill cockroaches because they decompose our trash for free, so do flies. I wouldn’t kill a cow or pig for fun but I sure would to eat them.

  • I don’t care about the ‘celebrities’—To most of them, it’s just another fad. They’re not vegan—-they are just not eating animals or animal products for a while. Being vegan is a lifestyle—– Having said that, though, at least these is good coming from them abstaining. 🙂 Thanks for all you are doing and sharing on this website!!! <3

  • Plants are also alive and fighting for survival with intricate strategies to repel predators. But life is an exchange of physicalities, and I feel no less compassion for the spinach I eat than the chicken which provides me with protein. We are all mortal, let’s just allow ourselves to have freedom and autonomy to live together on this planet, not this criminal mass raising of animals. But, cow farming should stop, as well as pig; big animals waste resources while producing waste. It would also be excellent if on the side we could minimise the human population so as to stop the food demand. Think a lifestyle that does not favour raising children and more liberal and autonomous decisions on abortion and euthanasia. Alternatively, habitat destruction makes predators invade human spaces, so.. someone has to be the prey.

  • There is too much meat in the world, pork meats and ducks are sold in plenty of Chinese markets. And then there’s rocky mountain oysters around the south. And people eat haggis in the UK. My family eat plenty of meats, meats for soups and holidays. It’s gonna take ages and centuries for everybody to at least turn vegan.

  • Answering the stupid things: Q:Why eat one and not the other A:Because we eat animals that taste good. Q:Enviromental destruction, eating animals is destorying the environment. A:No, it is actually helping it, because Cows, produce a radioactive-toxic gas that creates more polution than CO2, while you guys eat plants, plants produce O2, Oxigen, so veganism is worse than carnivorism from this point. Q:Ending world hunger A:What would a person in Europe or in the US have to do with African people, or Indian people, they have plenty of animals they can eat, they don’t have water, world hunger is happening because people cannot cook, or find good food in their region, eating vegan is just a poor little hobby. It cannot be a lifestyle. People are dying from hunger because they dont have ANY food, not even plants. Q:Moral Compass A:Think about how our ancestors got their food, they hunted, they killed the animals they would put on their plate, plus, I would do that, yeah, animals are cute and all, but you have to live, vegan people look like literal walking skeletons, that shit isnt good mate, try meat, eat the meat, try it, your life is more important than the life of an animal, animals are taking over the world, overpopulating it. We need to keep the balance. If we let animals reproduce too much we won’t be able to do anything. Farms would run out of business and have to either kill the animals or release them into the wild to reproduce more more and more untill the flora and the fauna will be so unstable, no more oxigen being produced because of the cows, plus the other animals eating all of the oxigen producers, and also, the vegan people would die, because we all need nutrients that only meat has.

  • So i am not anti vegan but you were asking how come we eat pigs, cows and chickens and not cats and dogs. In ancient Egypt the peaple use to eat dogs and cats when they had no food and they tasted so bad. Adding to that according to some studies dogs and cat meat can poison you, i don’t think anyone would want to get poisoned from eating 😬😬😬

  • I’m a vegetarian right now strongly contemplating the decision to go vegan. I’ve tried plant-based diets in the past, but I could never keep up with them. I want to be successful and be vegan for life, and this article is strongly pushing me to go there. I don’t wanna call veganism “hard” because that’s a lame excuse. It’s the right thing to do, and I’m definitely going for it!

  • Dogs and pigs are the same… so now you’ve got to convince me that it’s wrong to eat dog meat. I don’t personally eat it because it’s hard to find, while burgers are all over the place, so I just don’t need to. Still, they aren’t people, so they don’t have our rights. Environmental impact… I can’t help but wonder, who cares that fish have to swim far to live? Last I checked, they did that anyways. And who cares that tigers are becoming rarer? Forests aren’t owned by animals. We have as much right to utilize the trees as the animals do. More right, actually, because we’re people and they’re not. The meat industry accounts for about 10% of the greenhouse gases emitted by humans. That’s not very much being contributed to a factor that already doesn’t influence the environment much. Ending world hunger? I don’t think being vegan makes you a moron. On the contrary, it’s a sacrifice that wins my respect. However, buying into this “world hunger” nonsense DOES make you a moron, and very blatantly so. We ALREADY make far more than enough food to feed everyone and MORE, including mea products. The problem isn’t a shortage of food product; it’s the WASTE of said product, which will continue, regardless of whether the food is plant or meat. It’s a free country. If you don’t want to work a job, you can quit and work somewhere else… this is really just an argument against illegal immigration. Moral compass. I kill chickens every year. Hang ‘em upside down, cut the arteries in their necks, and wait till they lose consciousness due to blood loss to cut their heads off.

  • Look I’m never gonna me a vegan but I still don’t think that people should slaughter the cows the way they do cause it’s cruel, I personally believe that you should work for your meat (hunting) but you vegans have to respect others opinion because all those protests some of you go to “some” of you act like fools and chant things over and over and if you want people to listen to you, you gotta be respectful. I’m not saying a lot of you do that but I know some people do and that’s not gonna make me become a vegan and never will

  • this might make people angry at me… but SOME of this can be solve if you use the right islam way… 1.why eat one and not the other? in islam, there are restrictions to what meat you can eat. Mainly no pig, no dog, no predator (animal that eat other animal is a no), and no animal that you feeling for it(if you feel guilty, disgusted for eating a cow, cow is ban for you to eat). So a boy, a tiger, a orangutan is a no no.. 2. Environmental impact For nom 2 I don’t have argument cause it’s true, deforestation is the nom 1 problem for climate change. and it’s take more than a muslim n a vegan to change that.. 3. Ending world hunger. in islam there are a saying, “eat only while you hungry, and stop before you full”. if less food is consume people like farmer and government will try to export the food to poorer country, thus to end their hunger problem. plus UN said every year 50% of food waste is vegetables and 22% is meat.. 4.The reality of animal agriculture. killing animal in bad way, and poor immigrants worker. in islam, there are rule need to be follow before killing an animal. 1.Animals must be alive and healthy at the time of the killing. 2.the slaughter must be in good shape and healthy. 3.the knife must be super sharp. 4.the slaughter must cut the jugular vein, carotid artery, and windpipe at the same time.(the animal will almost instant dead, it might wiggle a bit, but that just animal instinct) 5.the slaughter cannot have any feel to the animal. 6.and need to have prayer for the animal before and after slaughter.

  • I’m 72 I lost my husband 6 years ago with prostate cancer. I saw ‘Cowspiracy ‘ four years ago and ‘ Forks Over Knives’ and ‘ What The health very soon after that. perusal those films changed my life. I realised that dairy was the biggest causal factor of my husbands illness. I don’t watch TV, I just research on line . Listen to lifestyle docs like Michael Greger, Neil Barnard, John McDougall,Dean Ornish etc. I found that a plant based diet would have saved my husband. It’s difficult living with that reality so I do the next best thing, I warn others. I run a one woman campaign to spread awareness about the benefits of a plant based diet. I hand out notes where ever I go. Notes on health, environment and animal rights.

  • I went vegan because it helps me manage my anxiety and depression. I’m happier even when things aren’t going my way which is the complete opposite of myself on meat based diet. I feel more clear headed as well. It’s also nice for me bank account meat is actually so expensive, Looking forward to veganism becoming more widespread so I don’t have to cook all my own food so often. I live in Florida and it’s not very popular down here yet. 😞☺️ but I’m not giving up

  • Where I’m currently living, in Kenya increased droughts as well as unpredictable, delayed and shorter rainy seasons are already killing hundreds of people above what was typical even before other countries and organizations started donating relief food during times of need. Be vegan for the environment – all people, animals and plants.

  • I went vegan for my own health’s sake as did my husband for his health’s sake. Without that addictive hold on the brain, I weep for the cruelty we once helped cause. I had arthritis which put me in a wheelchair, my husband had prostate cancer and the surgery, so that the cancer did not come back and to avoid chemo and radiation, he had the surgery and went vegan. It’s been 6 years now for my husband without meat and a bit longer for me. And we are not just doing fine, we are well and active. He is 71 and I am 69. Whatever reason people go vegan also helps the animals.

  • This article didn’t show what actually happens to the body when you eat vegetables only and not any meat. I don’t know why people don’t know why vegans always like to make food taste like meat. ITS BECAUSE ITS SO GOOD FOR YOU. Eating meat provides the proper protein and nutrients to the body and will satisfy it for long periods of time. It gives you the energy you need to go throughout the day perfectly fine . The whole vegan argument is because humans sympathy for animals. Most activists that support vegetarianism fail to present what vegetables do to the body. All animals have a defense mechanism and plants defense mechanism is chemical based. In plants there is a small dosage of a toxin that infects the body. I’m not saying eating a couple of vegetables is very bad for you but pure vegetarian diets fail to see this. If built up in large amounts this chemical can cause constipation and digestive build up. I can go on and on about it in detail but I wanted to bring a little bit of insight on what vegetables do for the body. Thanks for reading

  • My country knows well that we wasted tons of food everyday which can be used to feed poor people. We don’t blame the poor animals just because they eat cheap gmo grains while we have plentiful other food to offer to poor people. I used to see farmers throw excess fruits and veggies and let em rot under the sun. If you ask them why not give the food to the poor people, they will tell you “Who is the idiot in this world whom willing to waste time and energy for months growing food for poor people by FREE but got NO profit from it? We need money to feed our family so that is why we would rather throw away the excess fruits and vegs to control price market.” If you think the food grown for livestock animals are FREE of charge, then you are wrong. Also no 1 is dumb question. Just because people love sport, do you expect they all gonna do the extreme like jumping from cliff or sky diving? I eat meat but never think of going far as eating every single animals crossing my house. That is what we call barbaric and only real monster will do it. I am fine with small piece of chicken or fish once a week and beef twice a year.

  • I’m not vegan or vegetarian. I love vegetables and I would live without eating meat but, my family loves eating meat so I have to eat meat too, most of the time my mother adds beef mince into vegetable dishes. I don’t think I will be vegan but in the future, I might be vegetarian. (I only eat chicken, mackerel and mince except from dairies and vegetables.)

  • 1: why do we eat one and not the other, well in the wild animals are known for eating each other for survival and i know what your thinking, ” well humans are more advanced and we have the choice to eat vegetables” well with humans we also have the choice to make bonds with animals besides our own species, and with dogs and horses we can use them for jobs and for mental support animals, and at first it was just that but over time humans also enjoyed them as home companions so we also did that with them too and we also sometimes own cows and friend companions and in some places they also eat what we consider house pets, so it’s an even amount of both house pets and food, also it’s kinda the same with in the wild, what im meaning is you know how some animals eat a specific type of animal/‘s because thats what they like to eat, it’s kind of the same with humans, plus, ( look this up ) there is this thing called the cuteness triangle, it’s with mainly humans, we will feel a different way with something that is cute rather than with something that is not as sweet, cuddly and small as others and so we will have mercy on the cute one, 2: environmental impact, well if you look at what we are you will see we are animals too, and yes it is true that we are causing a but of a problem with eating ” too much ” of animals although if we cut off all the meat that we eat we will cut off the balance of the cycle of nature, if all humans stopped eating animals all together it would leave ” too many ” animals alive and would cause an over population, so it is a half and half type of thing and in sum of what i am saying, it would be agents nature to not eat meat

  • Maybe dogs and cats don’t taste good Cows getting calves and putting the calve away fast enough isn’t a problem, if the cow has the calve long enough and then putting it away means crying Eating plants only means you won’t get enough nutrients Human are built to eat meat We have a intestine of 6 meters Cows have a intestine of 13 meters Long enough to eat plants Plants don’t have much nutrients, You will look worse every day In nature 35% of the calves die because of the cow sitting on it Isn’t that cruel If you take eggs and milk from cows it won’t hurt them ‘It’s cruel that cows and chickens make food and drinks for us’ It’s cruel that plants grow for us If you give a cow a syringe, it won’t suffer

  • hello vegans this is your friend animal eater ihave a message for you didn’t you hear about food chain and what will happen if it’s broken so this is what going to happen : 1 more animals witch means they will generate more and the earth will be taken over by deers and other 2 cockroaches and other nasty flies will generate and the whole streets will be filled with cockroaches 3 human body needs alot of daily proteins witch are not that much in plants and god made every person/animal for it job such as lions they cant be vegan they need meat and giraffes they cant eat meat they eat plants every single human/animal have different digestive system 4 vegans have leakage in vitamin b12 and witch gives a vegan Weak physical structure and that’s why must of the vegans are weak 5 after couple years you will get infected by some viruses and get a cancer like after 5+ years 6 also you will get mild anemia and vegan will spend must of their lives by a higher chance of getting skin burn because vegan receive alot of amino acids from plants and these amino acids turn out to arachidonic acid and this acid makes the person with a higher chances of getting skin burn THANK YOU but if you want to reply back please reply back with another scientific reason not from fellings ❤️❤️ ✌👋

  • Vegans: “Animals are living beings who cant defend theirselves.” If I have learned something from my biology classes in school is that plants are also living things and plants like fruits and vegetables can’t really defend theirselves. So I really don’t see the difference by doing it with an animal. As a matter of fact, I find it extremely ironic

  • It’s easier to own a dog or cat then a farm animal. They also need space, plus are a bigger responsibility. I think that’s the answer to the first one. We also don’t need to eat cats and dogs. Granted we don’t need the others, but we have a choice. Some people do eat dogs and cats poorer regions, because they have to. It’s unfortunate, but just wanted to shed some light, you know? Not tryibg to stary a fight, I’m just saying.

  • I just went vegan myself for health reasons, but I think blaming individuals for their choice to eat meat as reasons for the environment going to shit isn’t the right way to go about it. I mean the amount of food waste alone under capitalism is enough to raise an eyebrow, The vast majority of pollution is due to just 100 companies, as with many thing the problem comes back to capitalism, a system of ever-increasing growth is unsustainable in a planet with finite resources.

  • Lol. You are aware plants are living things as well right? . You would rather eat a plant than a veg? Sure, it may be easier in ones mind but time perhaps to lobby for fairer ways of killing vegetables.. Could do the same for the furniture in your houses and the boots you wear. The car you drive etc etc etc. I give little interest if Ariana Grande does not eat meat but is happy to have a plant sacrificed so she can walk on it. Plants are living things a well and we should respect that if we want to get on a high horse..

  • I don’t identify as vegan because I still own some Dior products and leather goods so therefore I call myself plant based so im not being a poser but it is so sad what animals are being put through and not to mention planet earth that being said I got a Burberry bag from my dead grandmother and I love it and im honestly was struggling morally with keeping it even though this reassures my values im still having trouble with my bags and Ugg products i already own what do I do (sorry about the typos 😅)

  • Biblical speaking you’re meant to care for all animals but only some types of animals are considered food. Eat kosher, organic native breeds that need shelter in trees and hedges, eat grass which maintains soil integrity and habitats, and don’t need machinery to chew up and destroy the soil. Avoid carnivores, scavengers and copraphagues they aren’t good for food yes that includes pigs. Pigs are useful for gently turning soil around trees and maintaining land. Vegetable farming destroys larger areas and soil creating deserts.

  • I came to see why I should worry about it. I still don’t see a reason not to eat meat or stuff like that, but even if I don’t care for it doesn’t mean I’m gonna tell you guys to eat meat. You guys do you. (Also I don’t know if it sounds like it, but I’m not trying to give you “my approval” I just am saying it to say it.)

  • Cattle and sheep eat grass and hay, this means soil integrity is maintained unlike tilled soil for vegetables. Also animals need shade and shelter which means hedges and trees, which are removed to accommodate large farm machinery and bigger fields. So ironically meat eating actually provides more habitats, less land and noise disturbance as well as pollution. Eat organic, grass-fed meat, preferably of native breeds.

  • how come pigs cows chickens sheep’s etc are treated differently than dogs and cats this needs to end now because if this keeps going until 2021 and over this world is going to come to a end. everybody going to starve to death after this we should be focusing on the animals we are killing than covid 19 Thats not important

  • Well dog meat from what I heard is terrible but dogs make great hunters and can help catch animals who do like pigs. Also they can get rid pest, make great friends and do so much more. Sadly a pig is an entire different thing and we can’t keep them as pets and if they overpopulate they tend to destroy crops

  • Our society has embraced meat eating because it is usually a fast and easy meal. We need to start looking at our meal from the other side of our noses. Sure a burger is a quick easy meal, but who all suffers and pays the price human and nonhuman alike? Oh include yourself and your health on that list.

  • I love the message, but being ovo-pescatarian, I have to point out that you’re not gonna convert everyone to full vegan so at least be honest with your message so we can put a stop to the senseless violence, brutal slaughter & factory farming. We need more messages that support small farms to convert the masses. There IS a huge difference between chickens & dogs, and it’s explained in the Bible, as clean & unclean animals. The Bible takes animal raising and slaughter very seriously and explains which animals were meant for food and which animals were here strictly to eat waste or serve as companions or other jobs. Messages like this just serve further support the barbaric practice of eating cats & dogs and other unclean animals, rather than convert meat eaters to save animals

  • We need to mass produce meat and food so we can feed 7 billion people. These is the point of the cruel farms. Its not easy to make food to million people with does nice little farms. We need to make it fast and lot. I’m not going vegan i like meat and i still need to eat something. I’m fine with vegans only if you don’t force.

  • bruh I went to a place and watched a cow being murder for its meat because we were having a bbq and felt no guilt no shame and I ate that burger like a champ Like I watched it being murders and felt no guilt never be vegan so don’t send me links to articles cause I seen how animals die and I’m still a meat eater

  • Veganism is here to stay. by 2050 the world is projected to go at least vegetarian due to climate change (but since climate change is happening 10 yrs earlier than previously anticipated, it’s most likely by 2040 now!) The future is vegan!!! 🐾 🌱 all meat is just flavored to taste like plants anyway. Carnists aren’t losing anything.

  • When I was younger my mom was vegan and I was too, but I had a terrible iron deficiency, my nails started to look deformed, and it wasn’t pleasant. After about a few years my mom stopped being vegan and so did I, after I felt much better. I’m naturally skinny and I really need meat or I’ll be undernourished. Vegetables are not enough for at least me. If you want to be vegan, you can, but please do not force or look down upon others that aren’t vegan. Just because I’m not vegan doesn’t mean I’m an animal abuser. As long as the animal is killed not in a torturous way and not wasted I believe it is ok. I do not like those animal factories which is why it’s best to try to be selective of what meat you buy and where.
