Fear of God’s outerwear typically fits large, so it’s important to consider the brand’s sizing standards and if they align with industry norms. The jacket is designed with a two-way zip fastening in place of traditional buttons and has a faded blue wash. It has a relaxed shape that adjusts with tabs at the sides.
The Essentials denim jacket is a relaxed fit piece with antique brass hardware and a Fear of God rubberized label. Available in jet black and other colors, the size guide and shipping policy apply. Everything Fear of God Essentials designs is crafted to work seamlessly with other items in the current and previous collections.
The modern fit is short and boxy, with dropped shoulders, and additional details include a shirt collar, front zipper closure, and front welt pockets. The jacket is made in the USA from vintaged Japanese denim in a relaxed fit shaped by back pleats. The minimalist trucker style features a shirt collar.
The jacket started as solid black before receiving a bleach and treatment. The fit is casual and roomy for Large, and may be big enough for shorter XL. The jacket is made of strong blue denim fabric that goes with many different clothes. The Fear of God Essentials logo on it makes it feel special.

Hi guys, I’m Federico and in today episode we see together the indigo denim jacket from LA brand Fear of God. It has a very nice …
Thank you for another great article Frederico. Do you think the jacket was worth the price? You’ve done a great article about the legit checking and details of the selvedge jeans, but I’ve felt the legit trucker jacket and I’ve got a replica of it myself. I don’t think it’s worth the price it has neither retail or second hand, but that’s just my opinion. I’d love to hear yours 🙂
Great article once again! I love this jacket and have it in Small as well. I get compliments on it all the time and always for the details! It has an intended oversize fit but I do agree with others that it is kind of big on you. Mostly in the sleeves. I do agree that it overpriced, but if Fear of God keeps growing, it should retain its value like many items from 3rd collection.
