Who eats the most in a day?

The Blue Whale, the largest animal ever to have lived, is known for its large size and appetite, eating up to 3. 6 tons of krill daily. Lobsters, on the other hand, are fascinating creatures with unusual habits. They are closely related to shrimp and crabs, found in all oceans, brackish environments, and freshwater. Lobsters have poor eyesight but have well-developed senses of taste and smell. They are cannibals, sometimes feeding on fish and mollusks.

Female lobsters carry their eggs under their abdomens for up to a year before releasing them as larvae into the water. Lobsters were once used as paupers’ meals in the USA during the 17th and 18th centuries, with laws forbidding feeding them more than twice a week. Male lobsters have a strong dislike for each other and fight over everything, which females find arousing. They also pee in each other’s faces, regardless of the situation. Lobsters are threatened by overfishing and pollution-related diseases.

  • (Yellow Pearl is the knight maid, capable of protecting her master at all costs, and obeying every single order no matter the consequences. Blue Pearl is the quiet pearl, only serving her master and keeping her emotions in silence. Pearl is… well, the maid that once served her master, but now is finally free to do whatever she wants, not fearing whatever comes in her way, except Onion. Volleyball was once a maid that served her maid, but due to… well… her master’s agressive behaviors, she lost an eye and was welcomed to a new master)

  • How does no one understand that our pearl is rainbow pearl since she has all the diamonds colors, aka she’s default pearl. She’s also represented with the color blue (in Stevens experience as a “ghost” in reunited) meaning blue was the one that gave our pearl to pink. By the way in reunited bismuth is represented by rainbow meaning she belongs to all the diamonds at the same time.

  • I’ve always been in love with pearls! I don’t know if it’s there loyalty, knowledge or sweet demeanor but something about their physique with their cute elongated nose I found appealing and instantly fell in love with! Aside from yellow, who really is it good example of being a representative of they’re influencer, I loved them all. I wouldn’t want them to be submissive, but encourage them to embrace their individuality.

  • So I’ve noticed that both blue and yellow pearl have their gem at the same place as their diamond. Volleyball has hers on her stomach and pink diamond had her gem there too. Does that mean that it is possible for our pearl to have first been made for white? I think that it is possible and then white decided to give her to pink after pink accidentally hurt volleyball.

  • The pearls gemstones aren’t necessarily made. Steven asks if the reef is where pearls are made, much like how quartz solders are made in a kindergarten. The actual gemstone is put into the ground of the kindergarten, to make sure of the right placement, cut, depth, etc. Chances are a similar thing happens with pearls. Although I may be completely wrong.

  • There is something I find sad about the way Blue and Yellow Pearl kinda immediately ditched their Diamonds after the Authority was abolished. I believe the Diamonds are still the rulers of Gem kind but without the cast system, the pearls felt clearly no desire to serve their diamonds anymore. Ofc the Diamonds weren’t amazing but there is this vibe that the Diamonds are close with their Pearls, besides White ig. Clearly they weren’t as close as we thought since we never really see Blue or Yellow interact with their pearls afterwards.

  • Look at the positions of the gems on the respective pearls. While it makes sense that Volleyball was Pink Diamond’s Pearl, because both have their gems on their lower torso, we could assume that Crystal Gem Pearl was originally White Diamond’s Pearl, because both have the gem on their foreheads, and their personalities… match, to some extent. This makes me think that CG Pearl was passed down from White Diamond to Pink Diamond when Volleyball was decomissioned, while the upper Diamond kept the broken Pearl for herself.

  • I love this article! Especially since Pearls are important in my country, Philippines, we have a lot of jewelry with them especially thanks to the West Philippines Sea, and since our country is know as The Pearl of the Oriental Sea. Plus tbh the pearls coming into their own and being emerged in art totally vibes with us since Filipinos are known for being in the arts and we’ve been enslaved by so many colonizers for more than 400 years.

  • It would have been interesting if they showed off a black pearl and tied it to the real life mythology and rarity of them. There is a story about a pearl dealing family that finds a giant black pearl, and initially believe that the wealth and status will make their lives easier, but they just find it complicated their life. Additionally, there are superstitions surrounding whether they found “The Pearl of Heaven” or if they had stolen it from the “Manta Diablo” and will be cursed. (The book is “The Black Pearl” by Scott O’Dell in 1967.)

  • Actually thinking about it those traits that pink pearls are symbolic of fits the character’s relationship with Pink Diamond pretty well(except for romance due to pink pearl not being there while the whole thing with Earth and Greg was happening)(some of those can be viewed as being negative ones as well).

  • Once there was the introduction of the pearls, I was like yup Pearl on Earth belonged to white originally, but was given color motifs from all the diamonds so Pink wouldn’t feel homesick at her planet, further confirmed when when White removed all the color from her original pearl because, pink seemed to respect her as an equal (friend) but that also put her pearl in danger, as she was prone to emotional outbursts, other than the calculated behaviors of the other diamonds especially when interacting with their pearls

  • Symbolism for pink pearl (special collab with the other pearls) White diamond states “But your light can’t help shining through” refering to steven being referred as pink She says this but shuts you down, doesn’t give you a chance to speak but when she does she shows to be unphased and indifferent to your words Every pearl is just white pearl but made to be a different color This statement above represents what white diamond truly means when she says “she is every color of the light” not that she is but they depend on her, it’s just adding dark or liggt color to create a pearl like yellow and pink being the brightest Even though colored white we can see her features like her pearl placement, her hair and design just with a crack, upon further inspection this is the pearl steven was dreaming of, when he was pink diamond but he was reflecting himself as pink (I have a theory on this relationship between Steven, “Rose”, and Pink diamond). We can see it’s pink pearl And the comment once again “pearls are just white pearls with color” signifies how the pearls are the easiest to turn. And also the blue pearl part when it says you give this to an emotional person (or whatever this theorist said) which represents the diamond aspect of a pearl and the tranquillity represents blue pearl. She prefers to “DRAW” in tranquillity. But just like water blue gems are adaptable like you are flipping an on and off switch. Even though lapis took long to accept the crystal gems, he still trusted steven and came back to fight, blue diamond with water powers herself and “BLUE GEM OF ALL BLUE GEMS” was easier to crack.

  • Okay… so it really is unsure of where our Pearl’s owner is but I think I got it. If you look at the pearls, their gems are in the same place as their diamond’s gems would be. ( example: pink pearl has her gem on her belly just like pink etc. ). So depending on that illustration, Pearl’s owner should be… White Diamond. I mean.. her colors aren’t off. And that was a theory for many other fans too. It was just SO subtle. Pearl’s gem is on her forehead.. just like White. Blue Pearl has her gem on her chest, like Blue. Yellow has her gem on her chest like Blue Pearl. And we talked about Pink Pearl already.

  • I remember when I first saw pink pearl and white Dimond. I looked over at my friend and said “That’s pink pearl.” He was so pissed that I was trying to theory craft cus I guess Rebecca doesn’t like it and I was like “Well she shouldn’t have made it obvious. Blue pearl and Yellow Pearl have gem stone placements that match their diamonds. Our pearl is white and her gem stone placement matches White dimonds and white dimonds current pearl matches Stevens gemstone placement.” Then he got even more made and told me to drop it. I just told him what ever if she doesn’t like it she shouldn’t have made the show because people do that no matter what.

  • I absolutely love the Pearls, but I feel like their designs are plain compared to our Pearl. She has a few more colours and design has more to appreciate. I feel like they could’ve added more to them to make their designs, like more ribbons, capes, and accessories. I love them, it’s just they look plain and kinda boring.

  • Honestly I’ve stepped on so many pointy things that it doesn’t bother me anymore. Yeah I’ve had glass in my foot for about 4 days, yes I’ve had many splinters, yes I’ve stepped on legos, but I’m gonna still walk inside and outside barefoot. Sometimes when it’s hot I like washing my car and I purposely get my socks soaking wet to help me cool down. I don’t mind wet socks, I DO mind wet sleeves

  • I’m pretty sure the pearl that makes up half of the rhodonite fusion is a Pink pearl. The eyes give it away. Rubies eyes are black, and in a fusion, the Pearl’s eyes are always at the bottom. Take rainbow quartz 2.0 for example. Pearl’s eyes are teal colored and they’re at the bottom. In rhodonite, the eyes at the bottom are Pink Edit: The Pearl’s eyes are closer to where their gem is. Our Pearl has a gem on her head, so in rainbow 2.0 her eyes are at the top. In rhodonite, the Pearl has a gem on her chest, so her eyes are at the bottom.

  • Notice how where the gems for the pearls is in the same place for their diamond like yellows pearl Is on the chest same with the pearl the gem is on the chest so white diamonds pearl is on her fourhead and pearls gem is on the fourhead does that mean pearl was white diamonds pearl? Because Yellow diamonds :Chest Blue diamonds: Chest. Pink diamonds:stomach White diamonds: fourhead Same with the pearls Yellow pearl: Chest Blue pearl: Chest Pink pearl/volleyball: Stomach Soo regular pearl/mom pearl: Fourhead this is just my theory tho so tell me if I’m wrong or if it just a theory

  • I think that our Pearl was White diamond’s pearl. Because of the placement of her gem. The pearls have their gems placed on the same places as their owners. Pearl has her gem on her forehead, just like White diamond, and the same with the other pearls and diamonds. Just think about it… pink pearl was given to pink before our pearl. Maybe, when pink broke Volleyball, white gave her pearl to pink, it wasn’t a problem for W.Diamond because she could control her like we saw on one of the last episodes of SU

  • I have a theory, I think that Volleyball (pink pearl) and pearl were switched, volleyball was originally pink diamonds pearl, and pearl was originally white diamonds pearl. Pearls reflect the appearance and personality of their owners, and though volleyball and pearl were both pink diamond’s pearls, pearl seems to resemble white diamond more in all categories than she does pink diamond. While volleyball matches with pink diamond almost completely. Not to mention that a pearls gem placement matches those of their owner, pearls gem is on her forehead just like white diamond, while volleyball’s gem is on her navel.

  • I‘d like to mention that the Pink Pearl fusion episode was also clearly a homage to the finale of Utena. Not only does Pink Pearl strongly resemble anthy from uthena, their fusion also looks like a mix between utena and anthy wich are in the last episode basically on the brink of death as Anthy betrayed utena being in denial about her fate and it ends with utena helping anthy break the cycle if abuse and embrace being her own person instead of someone else‘s posession or a punching bag for someone else who wouldn‘t wanna take accountability. The whole episode is very simmilar.

  • You didn’t mentioned the process of bleaching pearls and how it could tie in to Volleyball’s experience when she was under the control of White Diamond. Most white pearls that are sold have been bleached in some amount to enhance the white color. Bleaching makes them more uniform in color and increases the supply of the more popular white pearl instead of simply settling for the Pearl’s original color. The entire process of bleaching the pearls is not for the health of the pearl or anything like that, but instead is a manipulation, changing it according to a specific person’s wishes. Volleyball was controlled by White to utilize the resource of the readily available Pearl but was changed to her ideal by being turned white. Some Steven fans have even called the process of White controlling other gems “bleaching.” Volleyball was all but literally bleached.

  • idk if this is canon, or explained in this article and i missed it, but i have a theory. In the Steven Universe Movie, the “something is clearly wrong” song is titled “System/Boot.pearl_final” possibly meaning that’s the third time she’s been booted. So my theory is that bird mom Pearl used to be White Diamond’s (she’s not entirely pink, yellow, or blue, and her gem is on her forehead.) and Pink Pearl had to be taken away from Pink Diamond due to the damage she had done to her, so as a substitute, White Diamond rebooted her old Pearl, or bird mom Pearl, and gave her to Pink Diamond. EDIT: oh yeah i think purple-ish pearl belongs to white but is more of a back-up pearl. like if anything went wrong with posessed volleyball then she would just swap her out for the purple one. and i think that sadly if a pearl that belongs to white diamond becomes defective, she would shatter them.

  • I wonder why they don’t like fusions on Homeworld, and the reason I wonder that is because when it comes to usage, a fusion is very useful. A fusion is like a bigger, stronger, more powerful version of two people. Sure, you’re down by one person because they’ve merged into one, but they can always unmerge. Efficiency-wise, a fusion is far more efficient than an average gem.

  • It’s a gross understatement to refer to pearls as just servants: they were made to order SLAVES. Less value than every other (non-defective) gem and viewed by even other low-ranking gems as nothing more than property (we see this with how peridot treats our pearl when they first meet: even among rebels, she was expected to be just the team slave). Yellow pearl may have been cocky, but ONLY because her diamond ALLOWED her to be.

  • I notice a huge detail Pink diamond’s gem in on her stomach and so is volleyball (aka pink pearl) Blue and yellow diamond’s gem are on their chest and so is their pearl’s Then here’s white diamond. Her gem is on her forehead But take a look at OUR pearl her gem is also on her forehead.. This means that our pearl was once white’s pearl! (Tw: grammar mistakes)

  • “H-How did you stop hurting?” Pink Pearl had said. Pearl, with a somber smile replies, “I didn’t.” This shows so much regarding just how much trauma the pearls go through. It strongly resembles an abusive relationship with domestic violence regarding Pink Pearl. It’s incredibly sad to me the degree they were hurt, especially knowing they were specifically designed to love and serve their ‘owners’, liking what they like, looking how they do, even presenting themselves the way they do. It hurt to rewatch knowing what Pearl knew and knowing how toxic her mindset towards Pink was. I’m glad they’ve learned to move on and accept what’s happened.

  • So I haven’t seen all your articles (I’m totally gonna binge them tho XD) but was pearl or “bird mom” ever white diamond’s pearl? I mean her gem is on her head and she’s white. Not only that but she’s much of a control freak. I know she was pink’s but she had to have been white’s because she’s like her. You probably confirmed this somewhere else but like I said, I’m new to this website lol

  • Excuse me I’m sorry for interrupting but I have a theory so Pearl and white diamond I think Pearl belongs to White diamond because if you look at where the Pearl’s gems are pink diamonds gem is on her stomach pink pearls jam is on her stomach blue and yellow is pearls are on their chest along with their diamonds so what if Pearl was actually made for white diamonds

  • Also the fact that the position of the pearl corresponds to the position of the diamond aka the owner. Pink pearl has her pearl on her stomach much like pink diamond and blue and yellow pearls also have their pearls on their chest like their owners. But our pearl’s pearl is on her head signifying her own head strong journey ahead

  • I hate Steven universe not because of what it try’s to say about gender norms, racism, classism, etc but the way they say it basically undermines any good points the show has ever or will ever make because it basically says that family has to be forgiven because they’re family despite the horrible acts they preformed or the lapis arc were she was also the abuser but when Steven didactic like jasper they only paint them as a detail less self loathing even though the show redeemed the worse characters like the diamonds ( and I’m leaving out so many problems )

  • I just noticed this: The pearl we know has her peal on her head, white diamond has her gem on her head Volleyball has her pearl on her stomach and pink diamond has her gem on her stomach blue and yellow pearl have their pearls on their chest blue and yellow diamond have their gem on their chest too Volleyball was meant for pink diamond as we probably all know and the pearl we know was meant for white diamond Do you see what I’m saying lol

  • Pearl is the sassy bird mother of them all if there was an ambernite or smth I would let them be servants for pearl pearls would be a runt that’s aggressive but clingy like pearl yellows would be taller then her but calm like blue pearl blues would be as tall as her but like yellow ( I don’t ship blue pearl and yellow bc they’re related / sisters tbh ) volleyballs would be funny but like pearl motherly

  • its sorta confusing when in steven universe pearl says she was given to pink Diamond but at the same time your saying is that pink pearl was pink Diamond’s. my theory is that pink pearl was given to pink diamond after pearl went on rose aka pink diamond’s side but it says pink diamond told pearl to help her fake pink diamond’s shatter then I guess white diamond was selfish and threw away her old pearl and took pink diamond’s new pearl.now when the era one war happened and because pearl took pink diamond’s other side.but pink diamond hit pink pearl in the eye. so was pearl nobody’s pearl?its like Star Wars legend of grievous and the canon story of grievous and there is no real one.its sorta like pearl that pearl has no story about her and there’s only one story thats more literal but you don’t know?thats just my theory

  • Do anyone noticed that where the gems are on their body, like blue and yellow pearl are like their diamonds on their chest but i don’t why pearl like original pearl where is her gem is like white diamond.Honestly i don’t know how to put this in words but i hope you (who read this) understand what i’m triying to say😅

  • do rubies orange spodememe lace amethyst cherry quartz biggs ocean jasper blue lace agate angel aura quartz blue bird nephrite heaven and earth beatle carnilean flurite rhodonite rutile padparasha zebra jasper pyrope demantoid hessonite emerald zoomans crazy lace agate holly blue agate jades and jade fusion lonely pearl zircon bixbite flint chert

  • I have seen that the pearls that you see are in the same place as the diamonds place on their body cuz blue and yellow have their diamond in the same plaze as the pearls and pink diamond have the same placement of her diamonds as in pink pearl but does that mean that our overprotektiv mother pearl was white diamonds pearl cuz thay have theyre gem stones in the same place and after the accedent of pink diamonds rage and hurting pink pearl the pearls switched place cuz normal pearl have more standers and kan control a little better than pink pearl. So thats why normal pearl doesnt have the same place on her gem with pink diamond. I dont really know if this is true but i tryed and i hope i wasnt the only one that realised this in the show

  • Chrissy D is the most intense example of imposter syndrome i’ve ever seen. Dude, you’re funny, successful, have a beautiful family, you’re more good looking than 99 percent of men out there, in shape, so charming that even your trauma dumping is likeable,.. Just chill. Enjoy it, everyone likes you, and you made it. And you deserve it.

  • not going to lie, haven’t checked out any of Chris’s comedy, I will now, but his honesty and willingness to be so open and honest about what he thinks does and how he feels is so refreshing – he is just a dude trying his best like we all are, I love that, big love chris hope you get a new home on the go that feels like home – but remember home is where your loved ones are its not a real place

  • I’m feel fortunate to have been able to watch this today. This podcast is Chris’s therapy. Just incredible to hear him open up so much – knowing within the next year millions of people will watch this episode. He touched on so many events, so many challenges he faced, that I could connect with a couple of them. Millions will connect to other challenges. I apreciate how Joe let Chris just unload the weight he’s carrying, yet Joe was visibly ready to change the direction to protect Chris should he get too emotional while sharing his struggles. Again, I apreciate Chris opening up the way he did. Best of luck.

  • I can’t comment enough what a great guy Chrissy is man he is just so genuine and honest I love how he loves his parents and especially the way he talks about his dad is awesome! He has inspired me many times when talking about his dad for me to be the best dad regardless of any mistakes made. Thank you Joe for having min on. Chris if you are reading this,.. I promise you that you are your kids hero!! I bet they absolutely adore you! Just keep being you and your gonna be the best part of their world!

  • Man that first 20 minutes was intense. I think I could feel Chrissy’s energy on his podcasts the last few months or longer cuz I haven’t been excited to watch his podcasts like I usually been. I been a fan since History Hyenas and I’ll always be a fan. I low-key started feeling really bad for Chris when he was talking about the self sabotage. It made me sad and I felt for him when he said he hurt his family. I’m glad he was able to figure it out tho and not go completely off the deep end. Maybe I should start perusal his podcasts again lol. Love u Chrissy, if you see this, stop reading the comments! Lol

  • Who would have thought Chris Distefano would have had one of the best JRE’s in a long time. He may not be the #1 comic out there, but he seems like such a genuinely good dude. This pod was just two dudes having a real conversation, sharing real experiences. I found a new respect and appreciation for Chrissy. lol

  • That was an essential podcast. Loved it. Not just some lighthearted fun, but essential life-stuff. This kind of talk, to a mentor or a friend is often much more helpful than talking to a therapist. Probably helped Chris more than anything else. “The mind of Intelligent, driven people is a powerful tool, that, when not pointed at something else and used sufficiently, will turn onto oneself. ” And also I seldom heard Joe laugh that as hard las at Chris’ bombing-story. I was crying laughing.

  • Obsessive Compulsion Disorder??? I went down the “WHAT IF” path years ago … What if I can’t pass the test? What if I fail this whole semester? What if I crash my car? Etcetera Forever … Miserable So I see this shrink. And he says to me: PLAY THE WHAT IFs OUT! So I fail the test — study harder, you’ll have another test (not end of world) Fail the semester — take summer school. Crash car—ever crashed a car? No! Well then get off your back. So why are you – doubting everything? – negating your success? – not getting extensive therapy? You don’t have to do all this alone. Give yourself a break. – Religion is fine, but remember Christians believe in forgiveness of others and even yourself So seek counselling and prayer; stay close to your family and reflect on why you need a negative thought? Negative thoughts, as I think you may have said you have, are to be avoided.

  • The Romans said that the disciples stole the body…that could be a logical explanation…but then you have the disciples (who supposedly stole the body) willing to die horrible deaths for the testimony that he rose from the dead. I wouldn’t be willing to die for a lie if I was the one who actually moved the body…

  • I think it’s crazy how so much people are complaining about Chris venting to a real caring friend that he clearly doesn’t have at home. Let him take advantage. Let him be vulnerable. Let him show us who he is. We’ll end up appreciating his comedy even more at the end of it. Rewatch Joes last episode or put another podcast on. There’s 1000s of em out there. You that guy Chris dnt let none of these dweebs tell you different. Being a real man is being real with yourself no matter what, no matter when and especially no matter who’s in front of you. Half these nerds wouldn’t have the bravery to speak so openly.

  • I love that he is always trying!! Always!! He loves his family so much!! Do you know how rare it is to have this sort of self awareness, and willingness to admit their faults then actually try to fix them!! All glory to God!! So great to hear you turning to Jesus Christ crissy!!!! I love when you talk about it!! There is so much power just in the name Jesus Christ!! So much so that non believers use it more probably than believers!

  • I absolutely loved this episode. I have been thinking about it days after listening to it. Chris is so damn funny, honest, and authentic. It’s refreshing to see a man talk openly about the complexities of being human. So many other people (myself included) have a brain that’s just as active. Thanks for sharing your experience. You are so awesome, Chris! And now I want to eat lasagna with you and your Dad.

  • Im not gonna lie. I understand his anxiety. Coming from a broken home, which gave me abandonment issues, there are times where i cant function unless i know where my significant other is, or if theyre okay. I completely understood the part where chris said he was playing basketball and couldnt play unless he had his phone on him.

  • Glad I tuned in to this episode. Listening to Chris open up about his anxiety and how his brain was his biggest enemy when he was younger was very helpful and relatable. As a 23 year old I too went through a similar experiences in my recent and past relationship. My anxiety really controlled me during that relationship with my ex. We broke up not too long ago and I also went through the “I cant live like this, I’m going to off myself” moment because it really is no way to live. Luckily, I moved to Colorado the year we broke up and it being a weed legal state we lived 4 minutes from a dispensary. Everyday for a year I was smoking and getting high. Weed really helped me escape from my “normal” brain but I still wanted to die from the fact that I couldn’t live “normally” or do it without the help of some form of drug . Luckily I studied myself and really wanted to get better. I did research. I watched countless articles, read so many self help books to find a solutions to try and cure my brain. Sadly, theres no clear cut answer to our brain problems because the brain is so complex. Theres also alot of factors that determine how a brain functions. ie. Diet, Sleep habits, environment, childhood trauma, mental illness such as add/adhd etc… Slowly but surely I’m figuring myself out and gaining control over my anxiety and other mental issues I face. It just takes time and a really open mindset. It’s not easy but you really need to have a drive to want to be better you also need lots of help from your friends and loved ones.

  • I LOVE HIM! Chris is interesting, entertaining, and comforting to listen to. I love how compassionate Joe is with him here. This whole episode is helpful explaining how one’s struggles with anxiety manifest in daily life. I’m so glad Joe brought up Abigail to Chris and how obsessing about our problems doesnt help- it actually makes things worse. I’ve learned this is VERY true. CBT really works! The book FEELING GOOD by Dr. David D. Burns is great! Even some woo woo versions such as the The Secret by Rhonda Byrne can really help people depending on what they relate to most.

  • The mass hallucinations only happen individually and at the same time. It’s never been seen where a multitude of people all validate the same events that occurred over a period of time. It’s always they all saw it at the same time. How does Jesus appear to ask these people over the course of 40 days prior to going back to heaven? Because he died and rose again to pay the ultimate price for our sins. Jesus is my Lord and Savior and he can be yours too if you just invite him into your life.

  • I feel his anxiety stories. I’ve always had bad anxiety about losing my wife, and that’s the only thing I get nervous about. It had gotten better over the years to the point it was probably normal and then my Dad died. I called him over and over and had to find him dead. He raised me tough, I didn’t think it affected me too badly, but the past year if my wife doesn’t pick up the phone or text me within 10 minutes, I get physically sick with worry. To the point that I will think twice about calling or texting if I have something to do.

  • ER nurse here in downtown Austin: our DA, Jose Garza is being criminally investigated for allowing all our criminals the ability to walk free after committing a crime and going to jail. Please get involved in local politics to get this guy out because he is RUINING our city! We are assaulted on a daily basis at work and these people get off while we suffer.

  • I really resonate with Chris. Being single can help. Lost both my parents at a young age and the abandonment issues really take a toll on your relationship. I finally felt relieved when I meant the love of my life but she was cheating on me and couldn’t answer the phone at times when she used to answer on the first ring. It’s crippling when you trust someone and then learn you can’t trust them after spending years alone to protect myself from the loss. She used to always let me know when she made it to work and her “forgetting” to let me know she was safe would cripple my ability to live and focus on my own life. Moral of the story, you can ruin your own life with your own thoughts. Sometimes it’s good to just be alone.

  • It amazes me how much Joe disregards and has a pessimistic attitude/outlook towards any evidence that has to do with Jesus or the Bible… yet he’s so quick to have the complete opposite attitude towards conspiracies with even less evidence, witness, or testimony to it. He’s clearly biased and wants to believe what he wants to believe. I just wish he was at least a little more open to it and gave it a chance as he does other theories/conspiracies

  • Therapy is absolutely a useful tool when it’s used properly. I often times would dread going to therapy because I left feeling worse than I did going in. The term “Rumination” is what I think Joe is referring to about “reflecting on negative thoughts too much”. Rumination could leave someone in cyclical thinking about a problem when the process should be to analyze and feel the problem and move forward.

  • Chrissy, I think you’re going through an awakening of sorts. It seems you’re conflicted about the polarizing viewpoints, decisions, “boxes” you feel like you’re torn in-between… like Catholic guilt & upbringing vs. the fun-loving, says anything does fun wild stuff guy… for example. You can be a good family man & also a big, anxious, sometimes crazy comic. Maybe it would help you to simply integrate your shadow. Accept both/all sides of you. Don’t let the anxiety of being either or neither get to you. Accept it all.

  • Lee Strobel is just wrong… If you’re going to be swayed by something, read and study the bible and what historians/scholars actually say. Not people like Strobel. One of the first thing Chris said is a comparison of Alexander vs Jesus biography… and uses the idea of oral tradition to say it’s possible… which wouldn’t have been used in those times. There are several people from history that these people like this use to compare to Jesus but they all make the same mistake… All of the people have external contemporary references that cross confirm their existence. Jesus does not have that… at all. Quite the contrary. We have evidence that not only did Jesus not exist, but evidence for how and why that story was created and where elements of the story was pulled from.

  • I am terrible for self sabotage and imposter syndrome. I always seem to find a way to turn things into a negative but only if it involves me?! Madness really because I’m not actually a bad bloke lol But i could definitely relate to what he was saying. Also, his whole demeanour changed when Joe pulled apart his religion.
