How I Met Your Mother is a popular North American sitcom that follows the journey of Robin Scherbatsky, who works her way up the ladder to become a news anchor at a major news network. The show features Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, and Neil Patrick Harris, as well as Hilary Duff as Sophie, the leading Ted-like role. The show tells the story of how Ted Mosby met his mother through flashbacks, with Robin (Cobie Smulders) getting her, Ted, and Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) into the prestigious club, Okay.
However, the show does not depict reality at all, instead portraying liberal Hollywood’s ideal of the “modern family”. As a teenager, viewers wonder how close HIMYM is to real adult life, such as success in their jobs and going out with friends. The show is known for its non-contemporary structure, humor, and incorporation of dramatic elements, but it also lacks diversity.
The main characters, including Marshall, who is a judge and Robin’s rich and famous character, prefer to use their own income to financially support themselves. The show is set in New York City, with a group of six friends out of over 8 million being all white. Despite this, the show remains popular and has left indelible lessons about life, love, and growing up.

What is the golden rule in How I Met Your Mother?
Ted, a tattoo removal doctor, plans to take his tattoo removal doctor Stella to a movie, which is met with disapproval. Barney, a friend of Ted, introduces the Golden Rule, which is the ethic of reciprocity. He believes that one should never date someone seen on a regular basis, such as someone at the same workplace or next-door neighbor, as such relationships never work out in the end and lead to never-ending suffering.
Barney outlines the Platinum Rule in eight steps, using examples from Marshall and Lily getting too close to a neighboring couple, Robin dating a fellow news anchor, and himself having casual sex with Wendy the Waitress at MacLaren’s Pub. The eight steps include attraction, bargaining, submission, perks, Tipping Point, purgatory, confrontation, and fallout.
Attraction involves meeting neighbors Michael and Laura, who enjoy eating brunch, and Curt, an ex hockey player. Barney decides to seduce Wendy, but the group thinks he will ruin the bar if he decides to sleep with her. Submission involves inviting Michael and Laura for dinner, while submission involves inviting Robin to a hockey game. Perks include having friends who live across the hall, sharing lunch, and meeting Vancouver Canucks player Mason Raymond.
Tipping Point involves realizing Curt’s clinginess and Barney’s frustration over hitting on women at MacLaren’s. Purgatory involves venting about Michael and Laura’s appearance when not wanted, while confrontation involves breaking up with them and telling Wendy he wants to sleep with other women. Fallout involves running into Michael and Laura while trying to sneak out, and Robin doing a news segment with Curt, who makes a euphemism about Robin’s love.

📹 REVIEWING HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER

I try perusal How I Met your Mother. but I found it boring & not as funny.except when Neil Patrick Harris playing the womanizer & sex hound & Allison were onscreen. the show reminded me of a adult version of The Wonder Years except the late 80’s or 90’s series is a lot funnier than How I met your mother. love Hannah playing you. she was funny & brilliant.
Ok, this is getting ridiculous. The similarities between Grace Helbig and Gillian Jacobs is neverending. -They both lived in W. Hollywood for a brief after moving to SoCal -FROM NEW YORK! -They look almost identical -They look the same with and without makeup; gorgeous. -Both are masters of making being kinda awkward the coolest, hottest thing in the world. -They love dirty, butt humor. (Bad Milo, anyone?) – Both are bold in how bad they are at signing. and now: – Both love Ru Paul’s Drag Race. Are they friends in real life? Cuz they need to be.
how i met your mother is, in my opinion, one of the worst tv comedies. I watched all 9 seasons and I wish I hadn’t, but then I couldn’t criticize it. they’ve been using the same jokes and concepts since the beginning. i could watch a season of that, but 9 seasons with the same jokes over and over again. nope.

The finale was the biggest load of shit I’ve ever seen. Anything that could of destroyed everything happened. The mother died. Then he got with a girl that was already established as a bad relationship on a countless number of times. Not to mention this girl was also his best friends ex-wife. Who, in the same episode they got married got a divorce. And they only focused on the mother’s death for a minute. Literally not even a full 60 seconds. All character development was erased in the span of 30 minutes.
