Men’s style is appreciated by women who appreciate clean, well-fitted clothing. For casual looks, dark wash jeans with a T-shirt or knit sweater are suitable, while for more formal occasions, a well-fitted pair of slacks with a button-up shirt and blazer is a great choice. A well-fitting T-shirt showcases one’s physique without looking too skintight. Plain solid-colored T-shirts make one look put together and ready to date.

What is the fashion 5 rule?

The Rule of 5 is a fashion rule that states that one can only buy five new fashion items a year, except for socks and underwear. This rule allows for mend, repair, alteration, renting, borrowing, and swapping items. However, it also prohibits buying more than five new pieces, gifts, and shopping secondhand or vintage. The rule encourages mindful consumption, as most people only wear 20-30 of their existing wardrobe. The challenge may be challenging during pregnancy or changing bodies, but the principle is straightforward: buy less.

Darke encourages participants to choose one new piece per season instead of blowing their quota all at once. This encourages mindful consumption and allows for progress over perfection in the fashion world.

What women find most physically attractive?

What women find most physically attractive?

Women generally show a higher attraction to men with narrow waists, V-shaped torsos, wide chests, and broad shoulders. They are also more likely to choose taller, larger men with high facial symmetry and masculine facial dimorphism. This preference is influenced by factors such as testosterone levels, self-perceived attractiveness, and status in relationships.

Sexual dimorphism refers to the difference between male and female anatomical traits. Women in the follicular phase of their menstrual cycle are more likely to choose a masculine face than those in menses and luteal phases, or those taking hormonal contraception. This supports the sexy son hypothesis, which suggests that women select potential fathers who are more genetically attractive rather than the best caregivers.

The masculinity of facial features is often considered a reliable indicator of good health or high status. However, the correlation between attractive facial features and health has been questioned. Sociocultural factors, such as self-perceived attractiveness, status in a relationship, and gender-conformity, also play a role in female preferences for male faces.

In men, facial masculinity significantly correlates with facial symmetry, suggesting that both are signals of developmental stability and genetic health. However, when perceived health is discounted, it makes little difference in physical attractiveness. A cross-country study involving 4, 794 women in their early twenties found a difference in women’s average “masculinity preference” between countries.

  • YUNEIS BARRIOS I think it is a very good idea because you avoid having to think every morning that you will wear to go to work at the same time you save hours because you already know exactly what you will wear. You do not give yourself a bad life having to think about whether it is suitable clothing to wear or not. at the same time it becomes very comfortable and I practice having a uniform.

  • In my work we have always worn a uniform to work except Saturdays, I like to wear a uniform all these days, because first it gives you the peace of mind of knowing what to wear every day and second of not spending your own clothes to go to the office, because of the On the contrary, when they see you without a uniform someday, the appearance changes and gives you another air, so for me it is a great relief to be able to wear a uniform.

  • Sandra Fonseca I wear a uniform to go to work. I like to wear a uniform because I think it saves time, money and energy not only at the time of purchase, but also to make the daily decision. Wearing a uniform gives me comfort and confidence. I think for companies that dress uniformed work staff they look more elegant and serious, also uniformed workers provide a personalized seal.

  • In my opinion, I would like to wear a uniform, because it gives style and elegance to things, depending on the type of job, in my career I am a receptionist and you always have to be well dressed, classic pants, long-sleeved shirts, tie and jacket, one must give a good image, the uniform is very good, because it gives the person originality, bearing and elegance, it also helps us because we are not thinking every day what to wear to go to work or on the contrary to school.

  • I think I would like to wear uniform every day because it would be easier than having to choose every day that I will use, and think of the clothes are fit good or if the clothes combine, or in the colors or accessories. Also i think is a good way to save money, because you don’t need a lot of clothes or the clothes won’t get damaged or wear out fast.

  • Hello… 3. Do you or would you like to wear a uniform every day? Explain Yes, I would like to wear a uniform every day, because having a uniform avoids stress. Oh, what am I going to wear as a uniform today? The uniform helps us save on buying clothes, there is not stress, and time is less on being dressed, if it is the case of us women who take a long time in the locker room. It is advisable to have a uniform depending on the job or work you do.

  • I really like use uniform all the time because it’s better, confortable and don’t need much time to think, which pants or t-shirt want to put today? And you save much money because you always put the same clothes and don’t need to spend in others pants or t-shirt and finally because in the weekends you can put really relaxing clothes that you can impress your friends or your girlfriend.

  • 2:51 “She can wear what she wants, that’s not my business. But, if she’s wearing that because ‘that’s what sells’, that’s not right in the society. It’s her choice what she wants to wear. But, it’s not her choice, SOMEBODY ELSE IS DETERMINING HER CHOICE, WHICH IS NOT CHOICE AT ALL. “Right now it looks like it’s Man’s perversion which is deciding the women’s dress code.”

  • Love this article so much . Because something similar happened to me few years back. I was naive and immatured in certain things. I had a crush on a guy but when i talked to him, he expressed how he wished me to be a little more curvy. Now i myself wanted to be curvy but the wants from my crush really boosted me . I exercised, controlled my diet but after a month or so, i was frustrated because neither I could gain any weight nor looked curvy like kim or kylie . Lol. I talked to my other friend about my emotional state and he was elder to me . He asked me why i forced myself to some standards i set for myself. i didnt tell him anything but quietly reflected my own emotional & Thinking state. Thats when i realised where was the mistake. I stopped talking to my crush and started exercising again but this time i wasn’t doing it for any beauty standards . Few months later, i gained some healthy weight. Even now i gain and lose weight and its part of my life . I have accepted i cannot be in perfect shape always . But i can always keep trying, exercising, eating, enjoying my life . Whats important in life is balance and self – reflection or inner awareness. There are many emotions within us that we keep hidden or donot reflect.

  • Women should wear whatever they are comfortable in according to the place. If its hot summer any girl can wear loose clothes and shorts and if its winter obviously you have to cover yourself with full warm clothing. But a women should never wear any dress to impress anyone or any person just to make them like you.

  • Time is changing, and woman will in future demand respect again…we are not a piece of meat And men also need to change their attitude about themself. A men who cries is human, and this old teaching a man does not cry, or he is the boss and women muss be pregnant and in the kitchen is what makes them inconciderate to women.

  • Imagine a man walking around with just a banana sack to cover his privates. One that has no regard to wear what he wants in front of minors, daughters, and other mens wives. Not only this, but has the right to go on TV or any media he desires, at any time of the day. With no repercussions. He makes a good point about liberty/equality.

  • Women should wear what they like, But then so should menfolk and everyone tbh. Both Woman and Men have for thousands of years been told to be this way or that way… these ways of thinking had a place in the distant past and even in the recent past to a certain extent…but here in the present things are changing. Everyone just be yourselves and try to be happy. Things will continue to change, for better or for worse. That is the only constant. PE@ce

  • Many people will misunderstand. But Sadhguru is talking about something much deeper here. He is saying love women no matter what she does. Give her love no matter how much and what she does. If she does what she loves then also accept and love her. Earlier there were magazines showing these faces and figures that are considered beautiful and accepted. Now there is Instagram and Netflix with the same idea selling that “this is ideal woman, perfect eyes perfect figure” “this nose is good looking and that nose is too big” so yes the economy is running this unfortunately people behind these beauty standards. What he also mentioned once was about a woman sitting in the bar, how sad it is for women” so it is the responsibility of the society to stop conditions for women. Love them as they are. He is not trying to say women should be in kitchen no! He is freeing the women, loving them for who they are. If she feels safe and secure. She will be happy. The loving and giving nature of her.

  • So right what Sadhguru is saying and I ‘ ll go even further by adding that in the western societies ( I do not know in India !), to gain respect in such a market place, women have to become agressive and dominant to exist.Feminity is going all right…I see it every day, they have to become manlike …The length of their hair is even telling you. They keep it short and, the shorter, the better… If you don ‘ t follow the” trend”, most of women don ‘ t respect you, they think you are not independent… I keep well away from these then again, I wear long hair, I don’ t go to work either drive a car….So

  • Men’s Day bhi isi tarha manana chaiye.. Because jitne bhi Maha Purush desh ko mile hai sare Mens the aur aage bhi honge Swami Vivekanand Guru Nanak Dev Ji Guru Govind Singh Ji Acharya Chanakya Mahatma Budh Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev Subhash Chandar Boss Mr. Abdul Kalam सरदार बल्लभ भाई पटेल टीपू सुल्तान Chandra Gupt Maurya Arjun, Bheem, Karan, Pandav, Hanuman, Sugreev, Baali Raj Kapoor Sachin Tendulakar Mahendra Singh Dhoni Jagjeet Singh Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan

  • I can’t ge it….why always dresses only define women…she is wearing a short dress she is bad out of culture…what about men…nothing they can do whatever they want… We have wear those dress whoch those men gonna allow…so they not get excited….still don’t know how bare legs shoulders tummy can excite someone…is it normal.. am I the abnormal one…I never wear any kind of short dresses my parents won’t allow me…And I respect their decision cause they have the right…but why these some else’s business to give me the right what to wear or not…well this is how world have made…. I don’t like to wear bangles because of some itching problems…but after marriage I have to..cause this is what society decides for me😊😇…in my next life I want to be a man

  • Not only men even the women judge other women when they wear what they like… Also, women get judged if they are working and not doing household chores and not giving birth to babies. When a woman gets married, not only the society but also the related families perceive her as a machine who create babies. And this is not something which only men perceive but also the women. It’s so disturbing to see when people keep judging you on what you wear after you get married.

  • There are many types of clothes The question should be like why women prefer dress how they’re not projected to society? It’s like men wearing pants with separate pipe and ball sack🙄 Actually nobody is going to judge but it’s embracing to many people and some other thing to other people same way for women. But unfortunately this is not going to get to anyone already mistake committed by girls so accept the consequence. It’s not about comfortness all about way projecting to others so that they don’t feel uncomfortable . There is huge difference with swimsuit in beach, swimsuit in society.

  • Guys, remember. Don’t be too feminine. Women find masculine men attractive. They always search for the ones who can rule and dominate them, eventhough most of them would disagree. This is nature. Each of our body produce different hormones. One is muscular and the other is soft. Even though women move well with soft guys, they prefer the musculine ones to share their life. This is how attraction works. Same pole never attracts. We both are different energies. Our brain works differently eventhough we talk about feminism. Ever heard of hormones namely testosterone and progesterone? That’s the difference.

  • The energy of cosmos existing within r all parts feminine and masculine. Everybody has that regardless of gender . The wisdom is in when u use the right part for the right reason and the right problem. A work of a pen can’t be done by the sword and vica versa. Nobody is better than the other. It only matter in the hands of the creater

  • And also if she wearing that just because, that is what makes people stare at her!thats not right too. And of course crying at some guy by wearing something exposive is bad ..because we live in a society! Not all men are Yogis! there are some weird animals too.If you are dressing half just for getting attention..You aint the person with right Mind

  • Contd. This is due to lack of the mothers’ knowledge about the latest trends. Due to thus girl children are being spoiled, we can see. Also they have no control over their chid now as they had not at their younger ages. Tha Older mothers used to control their children at the younger ages itself and they teach them what to do and nit. But it is not the situation now and hence we can pray only to give sadbudhi to all. May God help 🙏🙏

  • Haha. Is this even a question ⁉️ The girl who seeks attention will wear revealing clothes. The one who seeks power will wear such clothes. What is all this wear and not dilemma? They want a certain thing so they dress like that to attract it. Now you say should they not attract what they want? That’s the real question. You want to take that right from them? I say leave it. Don’t even bother. Other person is other person whatever the gender. And you are never gonna like them. It’s not possible.

  • I have moved from a very familiar and friendly area to a big city and I have realised I have to keep my mind alert and keep measurement of what I’m saying. I had never experienced this before and this transformation is so hard to develop. Guruji your lessons are helping me so much to just relax my whole mind and conscience. Thank you so much.

  • Kindly tell that the celebrities must stop Exposing themselves now-a-days, the Women empowerment which they project is displayed in a wrong situation, the common women are affected due to the bad influence of Celebrities because the men are made to feel enjoyed due to the affect of the Celebrities & dress styles

  • Namaskaram Sadhguru. I have the utmost respect for you and this respect has been multiplied throughout the past year. Just a small clarification Sadhguru, is the give more-take less theory and not looking for profit only applies to women? Shouldn’t this be a two-way process? I mean I must have misunderstood, but just a clarification that’s all.

  • To sum up… Its the choice/desire of every individual.. Then there is nothing to learn from superwoman like Shita and others.. Then we do not need anything to enhance my thinking/chetana… Can we make choice of ourselves in every aspects of life.. If yes then why are there rules and disciplines(ISHA).. If not….(you tell wisely)

  • people should be able to wear whatever they want.. i am sick of people telling other people what to wear.. the day people stop telling others how to live their lives.. that is when we will truly be a progressive nation… this: “Right now it looks like it’s Man’s perversion which is deciding the women’s dress code.”

  • Look or dress can’t determined a person is an undeniable word! But in a country like India where people belongs to less knowledge or lack of awareness are trying to cover up with looks which leads to committed on unwanted incidents. 1. The one can’t be changed. 2. The one committing unknowingly due to atmosphere( not being aware of time and situations which matters in some places obviously for safety) 3. The one who understand themselves ( time and situations) 1 and 3, I don’t have a single question coz they already have a confinement zone! But for 2, what will be the awareness in favour of those innocent ones? I have been searching but I am not getting a single proper word to explained bout what is in my mind😔! If someone is answering me bout this, I can give my exam very smoothly 🙏! Only human made boundaries and differentiations but these are also yet to be known to many of them( it’s for world being apart from India) so as we knew there have been not enough human leaders ( human called themselves as a homo sapiens but not everyone is that literally, as we knew!) for a vary long years in our own productive planet! Correct me if I am wrong coz still I do make mistakes but unintentionally 🙏.

  • Sadguru with due respect… I just want to ask… U said women are wearing as per man’s dreaming… U r true in part… Man’s sin’s pot got filled.. now women’s are playing same game… But in true sense every body want attention.. not true soul’s… Let’s see when life will learn to respect life… What’s the equilibrium… If possible in our life… One day for sure… Really human’s will respect the true life and sense to be in this life… Jai Mahandev.. Happy Shivaratri to every life on this mother earth🙏🙏

  • Vishnu ka nova avtar Buddh ko mana ja raha hai par nova avtar GuruNanak dev ji hai. Buddh jinne kabhi nahi kaha ki vo vishnu ke avtar hai aur naa hi kahi likha hai, logo nai apni taraf se hi unko nova avtar bata diya hai. Jabki sikh dharam mai kaha gya hai ki Guru Nanak Dev Ji Kalyug mai bhagwan ke avtar hain.

  • Bhai kehna kya chahtey ho 😒. What freedom should be given to a women plz explain ? Secondly if u think women should lead thn u should need a dctr a best one. Women first 1500 years bck was use as a material. Than our prophet muhammad SAW peace be up on him came and said women should be respcted and all was going ok. And now a women is given respect if she wears less clothes but if she cover herself complty ppl look towards her as terrorist . Plz explain why ?

  • Women should wear what society wants, and the same is applicable for MEN also. Some ideas of liberty seems to be very well in theories, but not on ground. Both men and women must respect our culture and sacrifice unnecessary liberty voluntarily, don’t take it as offend, but we must not blindly ask for useless liberty everywhere, society must adhere some moral principles, fighting everywhere for such things isn’t good for us.

  • 🙏🏻seamingly un-related at first capture yet… Nothing brings relief like attention. Or without it. The greater the attention so as the relief brought. The quality of attention in all matters is the root element offered for relief. The timber in her voice, the innocent joy of providing, the emotional wave in the room generated by her. These were the defining elements that created the depth from Grandmothers Hearth that filled her dishes with the soothing power instilled in her offerings of nourishment. Not to be found in her recipes ingredients. Yet always the overwhelming magical result and take away went farther than reason and stayed with you for the rest of your days. Think about that 🙏🏻.
