📹 Why Are Some Levi’s Tabs Blank?
Ever wonder why Levi’s sometimes have blank tabs? Whether it is orange, black, white, red, or blue blanks seem to be on all levis.
Thanks for the article as always man! It’s great you take the time to let people know about the history of Levi’s. There really isn’t a whole lot of info to be found here on YouTube about the history of Levi’s. It’s nice to see someone that is so into it like myself. Great job my man! Keep it up and I look forward to the next article! 👊😎
Thank you for making this. I just got a pair of 501 shrink to fits with a blank tab a few weeks ago, and then yesterday I was making room in my dresser and found a pair of 507s with the same thing. I bought them both online so yeah I was wondering if they were fake. Now I know and it’s pretty cool that I have these 1 in 10 jeans!
Finally someone who knows how long the blank tabs have been used! Kinda wished they didn’t. I have a 67-70 Type 3. 70505 tab, no evidence of any care tab being ripped out, no hand warmers, single stich on the bottom button but it has that damn blank tab. If it only had the Big E, I could sell it fast for a nice price. It’s too small for me otherwise I would keep it. It has that softer denim feel, I think you mentioned that in one of your other articles.
Hello, love your articles. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I’m wondering if you can help me with my inside tag. It is missing the black imprinted style numbers and it’s my only discomforting thought about this jacket being fake. All other things check out from Levi’s butt tag label, tags, stitching etc. Is this jacket fake due to the missing black style number?
Hey! how are you? thanks for the info! but … today i bought a levis trucker jacket with blanket lining, only two pockets (chest) and a blank label, just the ®️ but the most weird things on the jacket are a sort of details with “belt loops” whatever, can you help me to identify the model? 😰 Regards from Chile!
Hello I am new to the community and love ur vids !! I got a question that mine Levi’s 646 have capital E from the orange tab and got the single digit “R” for the factory code behind the button, the letter on the zipper is “Scovill “, however the care tag part got a black batwing . So I was wondering if u can help me identify it . Thx
Hey, As you explained in the article, I got the same blank tab with just “R” written on it. Should I exchange it as it doesnt look that attractive even though being authentic or should i just keep it? Do you think im the lucky one to have the blank tab or should i just exchange it😅. Im confused please help
