  • For all of you looking for one costume in particular here are the timestamps for all the categories! • Congratulations!! For clearing 10k levels I have an even faster strat: go to the World Record Leaderboard and select one of the best players (I usually pick DSteves) Then go to their world record tab and clear these levels. These levels are often the shortest and you have less loading screens between levels than in Endless.

  • I got ACTUAL all costumes, before the ninjis were released. Also 3DW movement: Long Jump -> Spam Full Jump (flat) Long Jump spam (Slopes) Roll into pipes/clear pipes With Cat suit (flat) Full jump, cat dive, Long Jump immediately Also you can make 5K plays on the same account, at the cost of your coursebot data deleted, delete data in data management, play on new account (use new email and get 7 day free trial), then re link your account

  • I just really wish these costumes weren’t like this. They are like a mental block that keeps me from enjoying the game. I’m really OCD about it and it bothers me everytime I boot up the game that I’ll realistically never be able to get some of these. It’s for this reason i think developers should be more conscious about their “rewards”. Is there a way to turn miis off maybe?

  • My personal comments to this amazing article: While I would love to get the maker points by uploading speedrun levels, I feel that wouldn’t be showing myself truly, I prefer puzzle levels and I don’t want speed run levels (or the quick clear level) to taint my popularity, also I am very bad at the game so endless easy is difficult for me even though most of the clothes I want is in there 🙁 I would like some tips for what to do to get the maker points and plays and stuff without using those levels. And some tips for doing endless normal when you are bad at the game 🙂

  • I was waiting for someone to do this! Thanks! Also I have a level with a custom boss-fight, where you have to throw bombs into the boss to defeat it. The boss is a fire snake build out of lava bulbs. As you allready made some custom boss-fight articles you might like it: ID: 472-FPT-FXF Pyroclastos Lava-Snake Hideout

  • I was there during the stream where you got the last one. I’m so happy for you! Also how come fish bone gets a costume and dry bones don’t!? #drybones4smash also at 3:49 you can also start over, but that is very similar to dieing but that’s is still another thing that might be helpful (I’m not 100% sure tho I might be wrong)

  • I will be helpful for you First if you get 300 in easy endless you get the frog mario raincoat If you get 500 in easy endless you will unlock the acorn hat If you get 1000 in easy endless you get the dash block hoodie If you get 300 in normal endless you will unlock the pokey hat If you get 500 in normal endless you get Snow pokey hat If you get 1000 in normal endless you get the phanto hoodie

  • Hello everyone, I would like to give some tips on how to get the superstar barrette, doorduroys and a bronze medal, all of which I have. I generally disagree that you should farm world records off the best players, rather than first clears; personally I find it too difficult. I got the barrette by looking for 3D world garbage levels in the new courses section. These courses are terrible and will be forgotten quickly and still keeping your world record intact; once this happens, it is extremely unlikely your world record will be taken. I got the superstar barrette in about 14 hours. When trying to get a bronze medal, go for the maker points weekly if you are a good speedrun or gimmick course maker, these courses get tons of likes. But personally, I went for the first clears medal. Again, look for 3DW garbage levels, they are easy. Don’t be afraid to look for dev exits, there are tons. 24 hours of good grinding will get at least 1000 first clears. I’m a little known maker, so I don’t have too many maker points, but here are some maker points tips. Refreshing levels get lots of likes, but they also get lots of boos and are time consuming to make. I made my maker points by making Uno más levels, since they are easy to make and get plenty of likes and not many boos. Also consider making speedruns, autos/keepruns, troll levels and kaizo levels.

  • But to be real drybones could work for smash b button he throws bones down b he’s play dead when he’s opponent is above him he can damage them but he can only stay down for limited time up b he gets wings to get back on the platform side b he turns into the skeleton fish and charges the enemy and side smash he hits the enemy with his shell up smash he pulls of his head and throws it in air down smash he could spin in his shell forward air he slams his head like Mario’s arm up air does a front flip and kicks the enemy and down air he kinda does what yoshi does with his boots If there any grammar mistakes it’s probably because it’s late and there was so many words

  • I feel like its cheating if you get rewarded tons of Maker Points for making “satisfying” levels. I mean, why do these levels even exist? They’re just for people who don’t have any skill at level design, and isn’t that what this game is all about? It’s even in the name: Super Mario Maker 2. Come on, people, at least try to make good non-gimmick levels!

  • I really wish I knew about these when I first got the game. I really want a top hat for my mii but I don’t have the time to play thousands of levels for that. I got the game day 1 and I’ve only played around 1500 total. The only one I would have time for is super expert endless, but I don’t have the skill for that :/

  • This system needs a complete overhaul. Unlocking costumes should not be this hard. How are you supposed to express yourself when there are barely any clothes and a lot of them are impossible to unlock for some people? My suggestions: 1. Import clothes from Miitomo. 2. Add the ability to customize colors. Maybe add your own emblem to your clothes, like in Mario Kart DS?

  • I’d really want a article on how to get all the medals & ribons. The only thing I really know is how to get medals on the endless things, which have to do with global rank (top 1000 for bronze, top 200 for silver and (presumably) top 100 for gold. I don’t know the gold one for certain as it required me to complete over 1000 stages on easy, but I know bronze and silver for sure as I got them (and lost them when I left that spot on the leaderboard)
