I’ve placed 2 orders that have been delivered and one is on the way. I received a credit for the order that was late and a credit for a problem that was the courier’s fault, not Temu’s. The credit was applied automatically to my next order. Everything has been of excellent quality and was exactly as represented on the site. So far all is well.
As for me, I’ve ordered over 20 times, I have had nothing but amazing experiences. My orders came on time, no broken items, customer service was amazing. I was wary and at first bought only small items I could afford to throw away if unsuitable. The items I bought were as described (I always read the reviews too) and so I bought the first pair of shoes I have ever purchased online. Perfect fit and finish – so many compliments that I bought another pair with the same successful result. Bought a dress where I ordered the wrong size – my fault. Tried to return but Temu told me to keep or donate and they still refunded. My daughter was very pleased to receive the dress instead. I’m sorry but I think your review of Temu is unnecessarily negative.
I bought 23 pairs of shorts from them April 2024 and they were true to fit and made better than Wal-Mart shorts, plus lots of diff. styles and materials. So as for me, I am happy. I also bought the icemaker and a dog vacuum hair trimmer. Both of them came in time and work great. Again, happy with the 3 purchases so far guys. 🤷♀️
I’ve ordered a couple times from Temu. I’ve been happy with my 2 orders. I guess I wasn’t expecting much from the prices I’ve paid but the stuff I ordered was pretty good. The only thing I don’t like about Temu is the description of the items. From the things I bought there really isn’t a description that I could see. When I order I don’t expect much but then you can’t expect much with the prices. But so far I have to say it’s pretty good.
I would advise anyone to not buy anything fragile from Temu because they don’t ship in boxes. Instead, they just pack everything into a plastic bag. My wife just bought a bunch of stuff from them, including a glass coffee pot, which of course arrived shattered into many pieces. Even though we sent a picture of it, we still had to send it back to them (with all the broken glass) to get the refund. Edit: I can see from the comments that some people have had a better experience with the service than I did.
I’ll never buy clothes from them, but have found Temu to be great for small cheap items/gifts or inexpensive household items, especially around Christmas time. It’s fantastic for cheap stocking stuffers. Anytime I’ve had an issue they’ve credited or refunded me and typically don’t ask you to send back the problem item.
I’m a huge crafter and have ordered many crafting supplies (precut wood shapes, hats for snowmen or santas, lace, stencils, beads, etc.) through Temu and, so far, have had no problems. I am very careful to read the reviews on every item I want to order, before I order it. I think that is a big part of why I’ve had no real problems. I think I only ordered one thing I didn’t really care for but it was because the color was different than it looked and not flattering for me. Due to the reasonable price, I didn’t return it or even contact customer service, I donated the top. I will continue to order as long as I don’t have any issues.

OK this is baloney. I have been using Temu for about a year I have never ever had a problem. My stuff usually comes within a week and if I’m not happy with something like I bought a sofa cover for $15 I go to the place where I order on the website tell them what’s the problem and they give me $15 credit and I do not have to return the item. It is true everything comes in plastic bags but I’ve never had any damage any problems except sometimes quality might be a little less like stitching might come out but I just stitch it otherwise it’s all good so I don’t know what you’re talking about. I live in Texas and everything has gone very smooth and I’m very happy with everything I get, all you have to do is check the dimensions of the product you’re buying
I totally agree with everything you said, been using Temu since they launched in Sept, and I only buy things like keyboard cleaner or something cheap like that, I doubt clothing or electronics would be great from them, our shipping times have been around 2weeks or so on average, and my wife has ordered way more from them and has returned I would say half the things she has got, she also pointed out to me they have a price match option on an item once you order something and before it deliveries, they text too often like 5 times a day I get a text from them some days, great article and I feel Temu is growing too fast and has no customer support to match there growth
I have been ordering from Temu for more than a year and have been extremely happy so far. And I order lots as I have just moved and needed many household items. Only.once did I get a chipped product. I emailed them, had to send photos and they sent me a new one with NO extra charge. No problems with anything else. It is my Go To One Stop Shop!

Ordered couple times now from Temu, stuff came but packaging could be improved. There’s definitely a lot of lower quality stuff (especially the figures that they 3d print) so I’d advise only ordering things that have reviews with pictures because depending on the item, a lot of times the images they use aren’t representative of the actual quality

PRO/CON: After several purchases I had the following experiences. One delivery was beyond the 14-day period, & I was automatically given $5 on my next purchase. One delivery indicated as delivered, did not arrive. Customer asked me if I wanted money or reorder. I asked for a reorder & it was sent without question. On the negative side, I will not buy “coin-rings” as the “coin” marking were hard to see. Be sure you know what size you are buying. Most items are smaller than I expected. I plan to continue using TEMU in the future.

I’ve ordered quite a bit from Temu and have been satisfied with the shipment time, delivery, and items received. I have had to return a few items due to incorrect sizing, poor quality, or inaccurate description and always select the account credit option, most of the items I returned I wasn’t required to ship back and still received the credit to my account. When using these shopping platforms, people HAVE to have realistic expectations. Shipping isn’t fast, but the items are usually shipped within a day of ordering in my experience. They just have a long way to travel. Also, always expect to get what you paid for- I ordered a pair of jeans for $1. I was surprised they fit SO WELL and are actually cute jeans. I expected something totally unlike the picture and unwearable and I got surprised. Now, however, the zipper doesn’t stay zipped after washing. It’s an easy fix, and I won’t complain because they were a dollar. I spent more than that on my coffee this morning!

I’ve bought numerous items from Temu over the last 8 months and haven’t had any problems with ordering, shipping or returns. I mainly buy household items – many of which are exactly the same as being sold on Amazon for 3x the price – as well as some clothing. No electronics. It’s absolutely critical to read the product descriptions carefully and to order by the measurements in the size charts for clothing – don’t ever order by your usual US size – and always check the product information to be sure of the fabric content. Their phone customer service was responsive, and they refunded me immediately for two items that had been incorrectly described. The only downside is their horrible tape wrapped, mummy-like plastic shipping blobs. Anything fragile or in a box would probably not make it undamaged or unsquashed.
I”ve had both good and bad experiences with products. I never needed customer service. My items came in a week to the east coast of the US. One of the product pictures was deceptive, so the product was a disappointment, but it was cheap. Some of the other products were a little low in quality. However, there were a couple that I rate as big bargains. The moral of the story is, you have to shop carefully and not by tools that require extreme accuracy, and be wary of the pictures

It is and should be understood that quality of products will not be that great, but their prices are much cheaper than say Amazon, Ebay etc. plus free shipping. Some of their items are exact same as Amazon but at half or one third of Amazon price. I had to return one low priced item, which Temu asked me to keep instead of returning. So honesty my experience with them so far has been positive.

I just want to mention that some shoes, clothes are made for slim Asians. The quality of jewellery are also good. I do not believe any these positive revues on here, most people are paid or given freebies to say nothing but good things . To many good revues means bullshit. Yes there are many products out there that are not worth 200 dollars rather 30 or 40 dollars. I bought a pair of Samsung ear buds and they lasted 2 weeks, without getting any where with customer service . So even big companies like Apple and Panasonic and Samsung make crap that is way over priced . We just need a honest companies that sells at the right price
I have not had any issues with temu orders. Some items are crap but I have asked to return them and they have accepted the returns and refunded m money in like 5 days!! I am purchasing less from them because I don’t want to use products from China since the COVID pandemic started an now they have another virus coming and they lie to the world and we have suffered enough with their policy to silence information. I don’t like that!! It’s difficult since now most everything is made in China but you can still purchase products from Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan, Japan, USA.
I’ve been happy with the leather work tools and fixings I’ve gotten so far. They have been decent quality and completely usable. But let’s face it pretty much all leather tools on line are from China nowdays. They have just come to Australia, so I am taking advantage of the effort they are putting in at the moment.

But I know in the community many many people have talked to have all had very good experiences. I think at this time of inflation this came at the right time.

Been buying from Temu over 3 months now. I have not only been VERY happy with what I got but also VERY happy with the return policy. Every order i have gotten i had to get refund on at least 1 thing. Never had a problem. Quick delivery. Even tho temu offers 5$ credit for late delivery I never had late package. I have gotten over 11 orders since April. I love it. I have gotten lots of stuff i never would have been able to afford otherwise. Clothes fit just right. Some stuff is on the cheap but they r just the same as buying at dollar tree or dollar general n even Walmart. So y not pay less for cheap items then pay more in Walmart. I’ve had five orders from them and would say this review is accurate. I would offer this general rule; the simpler the item, the more likely it will be of sufficient quality. Possible Examples: a drain hair catcher – good, a DVD player – bad. When I started they had a $10 minimum order for free shipping, which somehow turned to $20 by the last order (sucking in a new customer?). At this point I would use them less and probably only order if I had a couple of needed items that clearly were significantly cheaper there (and of acceptable quality using my general rule). The “new” minimum $20 order for free shipping really turned me off. I also did get free credit for one slow order, twice. (I should note a few items I requested a return on, they just said “keep it for free”. This may be a ploy to suck new customers in; I don’t know.) Overall, I would say probably 2 out of 3 items you get are good, the rest, not so much. Read the descriptions and reviews well. Returning is a hassle for items only costing a couple of bucks. They may be counting on that as part of their business plan.
My first order from Temu was a good experience thus far. All my items got delivered as expected and I use everything I ordered with the exception of an LED wall lamp that needed to be wired by an electrician lol.. not too big of a loss and it’s my fault for not reading the description more closely, but so far it seems legit.

Yes, I’m paying more for a few items, but overall if I place things in my Wish List, I will get a notification when an item I’m really not in a hurry for, letting me know the price has come down. And, I have also gotten extremely spoiled by the shipping! I am also a Prime member so I have other benefits as well. Many of the products I purchased were also listed on Amazon for at least twice as much. Have ordered from them multiple times now getting free shoes, smart watch and other items. When an order is late, the $5.00 credit is applied without asking. The clothes were good quality and exact dimensions are listed before ordering. I have been quite pleased with Temu.
Thank you for posting this information. I have ordered from them on two occasions. Items were received in about 10-12 days but poorly wrapped. As you stated the items were of very low quality and often broken or didn’t work. Also, the representation in the ad sometimes turned out to look much bigger, better, etc. than the real product you received. Their pictures in the ads might show several of something then you order it and you get only one or it looks much bigger in the picture than the one actually received. Yes that is something the consumer should double check before ordering but they are very good at their “deceptive” marketing. Also, I did not try to return the items for a refund because the hassle to do so was much worse than the $2.00 to $3.00 return I MIGHT receive. I am sure that this is something they hope many customers do— just throw it away and consider it a small loss. I ordered 2 articles of clothing and the fabric it was made from was of extremely poor quality and very thin. Both had unfinished seams and no neck facing. They will probably be worn when I am painting or cleaning the house and I don’t care if they get ruined and don’t plan on going out of the house. Would I buy again from TEMU? Probably not. Most of it is just cheap junk or a misrepresentation of something. Money is too tight right now to waste it on cheap products that don’t last.
Last week, I saw an ad by Temu, selling a moveable desk lamp. When I wanted to order it, I had to order other things to get to at least $10 to receive the lamp for the reduced price. I also was not allowed to order more than one lamp for the cheaper price. In the end I didn’t bother, because I was only interested in the lamp. It’s not worth it.
Just got my 1st order yesterday. It took a total of 12 days from order to delivered including weekends. It was 1 day late, I got my $5 coupon as promised within a few hours. I applied it to the 2nd order also yesterday. Customer Service was Excellent & Instant. A few items were slightly bent because they were plastic & the way it was packed. However it was minor and didn’t affect the product enough to be returned. When I bought something for .60 vs $1.25 at Dollar Tree, it was all well worth the time & prices. Nothing I ordered was needed immediately and 12 days including wkend coming from China I felt it worked well.

No waiting months for orders to arrive. Some items are cheap junk but for the most part, quality is what you would expect and some even exceed expectations.

Have never received an order late and they usually arrive at least a day prior. I’ve gotten compliments on a ring I ordered that looks much more expensive than what I paid for it. I have bought about 15 items so far from TEMU. Each item had better quality than I anticipated. They were also true to the delivery time. I would say I’m my own best review before I get to hear others people reviews. No company is perfect. I however wish we would do all this here in the USA to keep our jobs.
This article was created over a year ago. Customer service has improved. I received a full refund before they received the item back. I bought a pair of gym shoes. The sole felt like Styrofoam, so they are essentially decoration shoes. I do not wear them to exercise. Some items do not work, but Temu will allow you to return it or keep it and you get a refund. The downside, Temu bombards you with emails and texts to motivate you to buy.
I’ve made several purchases from Temu. Shipping was quick, usually well within 15 days. Returns have been fast but most of my returns did not require me to send them back. That was usually on low ticket cost items. I’ve usually opted for the Temu credit which came in immediately because I know I’ll probably shop Temu again. Customer service has always been fast and complete. Definitely some of the items were cheap, but the majority of what I’ve ordered is fine. I’m sitting here typing this wearing a very cute t-shirt from Temu. I’ve ordered several different styles of t-shirts and all except for one have been fine.

A few items that i wanted to return,i was told no need to return, and i was issued a refund within one day. I do agree that the packaging was not nearly as nice as you see on YouTube. I live in NZ and I’ve placed 2 orders, about to place my 3rd. Both orders only took a week to arrive. The items aren’t packaged well, boxes come crushed, my butterfly stickers for my bathroom some were bent.. But, overall I’m really happy with the cheap handy products! Wouldn’t advise ordering fragile, or large, awkward shaped items as the items arrive just in a bag. I claimed a refund on a mesh sunglasses holder for my car as it was defective, and I instantly got my money back. My son somehow won 2 free gifts off the link I sent him and he got his items a week later.
I order from Temu only. I have ordered from all major “companies” like Amazon, eBay, Wish, Aliexpress you name it, but the fastest, cheapest and most reliable is Temu. I got a package today, which I ordered week ago. From China to Finland in one week – amazing! Temu is expanding fast and competitors do not like it. Therefore there are critizising trolls on YouTube aswell.
Love Temu! I live in Switzerland and more and more of my friends are also using Temu. They also refund anything that does not live up to your standard or is damaged and they do it without a couple of minutes. A lot of their stuff is actually good quality (am wearing an awesome pair of jeans, beautiful shoes, and a cool top…..all Temu!). Orders arrive in 10 days or less. I and everyone else I know have no complaints.
I bought thousands of dollars on hundreds of orders from Temu, from tools, clothes and fishing poles and lures All deceit and good Quality any missing Items were replaced or Refunded Quickly, shipping was on Time if late $5.00 credited within 48 hours, The Negativity I’m Seeing on this article I have not Experienced, The low Prices for the Quality of All the Items I Received was Great, I’m sure for the Amount of Business That They are doing I’m Sure there are Going to be Some Late Deliveries and Unhappy Customers for whatever Reasons, But for Me I’m Completely Satisfied with Temu and Would Recommend For Low Prices and Good Quality and No fear of Getting Ripped Off ..
I have ordered a lot of items from them. None of my items were damaged. They were quick to get my items to me longest was a week in a half. My granddaughters were thrilled with their graduation presents from them. I was too. In fact I’m wearing their clothes every day. They also were quick to fix any problems that I had with any items.
Dude, I have known about “buyer beware” for a long time. Chinese stuff is crap. Until it’s not. Let me explain. There is a lot of crap stuff made and sold. Everywhere. No one in America wants to make stuff anymore, because you can get it from China. But, if you can get an American invested product from China, it’s actually better quality. It’s kinda a standards and regulation thing.
I have to disagree with all of the negative comments you mentioned in this article. I have purchased NUMEROUS items from Temu from shoes to jewelry to clothing, kitchen items, craft storage, yarn, etc, and have never been disappointed. The few things I’ve had to send back due to fit went smoothly. I selected what I needed to return, a QR code was provided, and a refund was issued immediately upon my sending it back and never a problem. Also, sometimes they offer to let you keep the item and still refund your money. I always have them refund as a temu credit because I know I’ll order again. Some items are cheap quality but I expect that; however, the clothes I’ve ordered are worn every day of the week (I ordered multiple colors) and they hold up very well. I’ve also ordered full coverage headphones, ear buds and bone conducting headphones and have used them for work for over a year. The only “complaint” i have is that they package things in bags and not boxes. Otherwise, my family loves Temu! I’ve also gotten my coupon bundles and love their “Price Adjustment” option.
It’s true and depends on what you get. Model kits and supplies are great and way cheaper then going to the local store. Clothing order a size up, Chinese people are smaller lol. I’ve ordered lots, took 2 weeks or less. Again it depends on what your looking for. The biggest thing I ordered was a metal detector and it works fine.
I have used Teemu twice the second time I had an experience where I needed my money refunded back to me through my cash app which was my form of payment they took so long to do it that I had a overdraft I will not let this discourage me because I have seen many products such as clothing kitchen accessories and much much more I will not let this discourage me I plan on giving them a second chance I hope you have found this informative let’s see what happens next so for now I say give it a try
Ali express is way better. Wife uses TEMU, it’s slow and crap. I’ve bought over 100 items for my motorcycle and camping. Everything’s arrived to the UK, mostly in under 2 weeks and everything’s been from very good to brilliant. Be VERY cautious on TEMU of the size of all things, it’s very deceptive. The worst thing about both is shipping. absolutely everything is a stupid non protective plastic bag, I don’t think theyve heard of cardboard boxes in the east. Personally I’d avoid TEMU like the plague. Ali express is wayyyy better.
I used Temu to buy 2ytansparent toiletry bags for air flights, which are expensive locally. I knew they are cheap products anyway, so I bought from them at a fraction of the cost. I go the same quality I would have gotten locally, To fill out my order. I bought 3 t shirts that would not be possible copyright wise in America (Freddy Kruger, Chucky and Jason on the same shirt)
Hmmmmm…..I dunno, I think I’ll stick with Amazon they get the goods to me in 2 days normally and even on a Sunday………..and even the smallest item I buy from Amazon comes in a cardboard box which my cats go mad over……..oh and I forgot……. have been trying to register/log onto TEMU but haven’t had any luck yet.
their packaging sucks, would never buy anything fragile from them, also found by comparing prices with ebay australia quite often but not all the time find the same item cheaper from local sellers or same price after shipping is included (but u dont have the 2-3 week wait), if carefull and do the checking have found some real bargines but have learnt not to buy clothes as even taking into a/c their sizing conversions from asian to euro most of the time dont fit, havnt had a packages go missing but have had items not included that the refunded me for .. AS THE OLD SAYING GOES…. BUYER BEWARE
Bought 100 percent cotton shirt…got a 100 percent spandex under Armour type shirt. I’m specifically looking for natural fibers. Avoiding polyester and stretchy plastic stuff. Paid 18 dollars and got a plastic shirt…it’s am underwear shirt BTW. Like a union worker henley underwear shirt. Have lots of cotton blends and this shirt is way worse…
I have never had a problem with shipping times. Sometimes they arrive within a few days. Usually within the 14 days. I always check to see what the clothes are made from. Not many are cotton but polyester which is not a very forgiving material!! Shoes and boots are cheap. Don’t expect them to last a lifetime for $30 AUD. They are, mostly, true to size.
You know when you buy its not quality, but it works and its dirt cheap. We have been buying the same items from local shops for so long being ripped off so thanks Temu. I’m a Temu junkie. Local shops have just shot themself in the foot by complaining to Tax man because the same rule will apply to all when the taxes are introduced. But we can by direct, so not worth their while buying container loads any more.😂😂😂😂❤❤ And, Their delivery from China to your doorstep is quicker than most local shops do.Max 14 days.
I have been buying from Temu for about a year and I am very happy. At first they were just in the United States I’m in Canada. Anything that I have not been happy with I have gotten a refund but I just put the credit in my account for the next order. I give a review on everything I receive. Also you have to look around for different pricing sometimes from the same seller!!!!! Same with Amazon. Minimum spend is 35.00. Just today I got an order and got a full refund for a product I was not happy with. Today Friday August 30th,2024
This “unbiased” review is a joke! I’ve been buying from Temu for ages and never had any issues. The part the OP gets so wrong is the refund policy. I’ve never had issues with refunds when PAYING WITH PAYPAL (I never use my credit card ever if possible, even on other sites. Always Paypal). I simply have to lodge a request for refund, complete an online form for the reason and attach photos and/or articles and I get my refund within hours. I don’t even have to return the item. They ask no questions and I get my money back straightaway. Furthermore, delivery is always fast, never more than 7 days and often within 5 days. The OP is either anti-china or is getting paid by businesses like amazon to throw Temu under the bus. Watch with a grain of salt.
I always love when people say be careful because it’s made in China. Well here is a fun fact, Nike, Reebok, Samsung, pioneer, Maytag and the list goes on, it’s all made in China. I purchased all my fishing lures and gear on Temu with success. I would not buy something fragile like glass because they do ship in plastic. But to be fair just because it’s made in China doesn’t always mean it’s crap, maybe 70/30% split.
My ONE purchase through ‘temu’ turned into a month long nightmare- – – I wound up with the item purchased, but not until being told over the phone, (call to some foreign idiot somewhere in the world) I would NOT get my item, NO refund, plus very extreme dirty swearing from same idiot !!!! Unfortunately, I have purchased several times from the TEMU website, but my experience with them was unsatisfactory. The website sends products to customers that are different from what is displayed on the website. They also send damaged products, and when we return them, they do not refund the amount. Also, the packaging problem for the products is that they are open and scattered.
2024 and Temu obviously improved. I buy very selectively. Delivery is ok and you get a $5.00 if item arrives late. Yes! Packaging is still an issue and received x1 item slightly damaged. The most annoying off putting thing is, that i get bombarded with spin whee giftl crap sending me on a merry go around. One almost believes being on an online casino. The other bullshit is what you apparently saved. Greatly exagerated.
It’s really not that complicated. There’s an old saying: “Good. Cheap. Fast. Pick any two.” Depending what you buy, Temu can be good. You simply have to understand what you are buying. There isn’t much that can go wrong with a potato peeler or some other kitchen widget. When it costs 1/4 to 1/10th of what you would pay in a store, it may be worthwhile. I’ve now bought about 30 things from Temu. I’ve been generally happy with about 28 of them. On the two that I didn’t like, I requested a return on the app and got an answer in a couple of minutes. In both cases, they refunded my money and said I could keep the item. (A tea kettle that got dented in shipping and a Wifi repeater that didn’t work.) Now that Temu has warehouses in the U.S., they are within the grasp of U.S. law. They seemed generally legit before. I”m not worried at all, now.
The problem with Ali-express is that shipping times can be agonizingly slow…sometimes months! I’ve probably placed of 400 orders thru Al over the years, and issues with products probably limited to 2 orders. On the other hand, most Temu orders arrive within about 7-10 days. But, some products are real crap. For example, I bought a couple of fly swatters and they were brittle plastic? Who ever heard of that? Each time I swatted a fly, another piece of the swatter head broke off. But, so cheap, that I didn’t bother asking for a refund. Still, most products I’ve bought from Temu are well worth the discount prices. And plenty of them, like electronics products, are of equal quality to US made items. The biggest gripe I have with Temu is that, unless you buy something like a guitar, or a glass item, your items are most likely to come shipped to you in a plastic bag, rather than an outer carton with padding. It makes sense for international shipping, because ship rates are based on volume as much as by weight. But, if shipped from a US warehouse, .it makes less sense. The result is that there’s a good chance inner boxes will arrive crushed…a problem if buying something as a gift. I’ve never found an actual product to arrive broken…but every package does show that crushing of the individual packaging. I appreciate the free shipping…but would love it if Temu offered premium pkg options, even if they had a fair surcharge for it.
i’ve bought from TEMU 4 times, i”m in the USA. … OVERALL: ‘Positive’ experience. The only negative experience is that i bought a pair of male running shorts. When it arrived it was damaged with black sticky tape (that i couldn’t remove without damaging the garment) on the shorts. I took a photo and sent it to TEMU for a refund. They only offered to refund HALF my purchase price despite the obvious defective garment. My strong suggestion when ordering clothing or shoes: ALWAYS order at least one size BIGGER. They also gave me very fast delivery, within 10 days to California.
I’ve ordered probably a 100 products. I have to admit it is very addictive, mostly because of the price. 99% of everything I ordered. I was satisfy some of the products that were under a dollar. money’s thrown away Sometimes it would take Several weeks to get my product.But that’s no big deal.It’s almost like Christmas when they deliver.I gave them nothing but my credit card number.Nothing else.I have absolutely no complaints
