Energy conservation is a crucial practice that can lead to significant benefits for both your wallet and the planet. It involves reducing energy use and costs through simple tips and tricks, such as replacing light bulbs, using smart power strips, installing a smart thermostat, and more. One way to reduce your carbon footprint is by turning down the temperature on your water heater, which can save you money on your energy bill and help conserve energy.
To live more sustainably and reduce your impact on the planet, consider adopting a lifestyle change that uses fewer resources, such as choosing active transportation over driving a car or being mindful about turning off lights and unplugging devices. For small cooking jobs, use smaller appliances like a toaster oven or microwave, which use 75 less energy than a conventional oven.
To conserve energy, replace light bulbs, use smart power strips, install programmable or smart thermostats, purchase energy-efficient appliances, reduce your heating and cooling bills, test windows and doors, use ceiling fans, run large appliances in the evening, turn off unnecessary fans and lights, turn off taps while brushing and shaving, use natural light and task lighting, and invest in solar panels.
Rely on natural light, unplug appliances when not in use, use a smart thermostat, and use less hot water. Practice the top five energy-efficient home improvements and learn from experts like Garrette Clark, an expert in sustainable living with UNEP.

Which of the following would be a lifestyle change to conserve energy?
Energy conservation entails the implementation of several strategies, including the deactivation of lighting fixtures in unoccupied spaces, the disconnection of electrical appliances when they are not in use, and the substitution of motor vehicle travel with pedestrian mobility.
What are 3 good things about wind energy?
Wind power is a rapidly growing energy source that offers numerous advantages, including creating good-paying jobs, enabling U. S. economic growth, being a clean and renewable energy source, benefiting local communities, and being cost-effective. With over 125, 000 people working in the U. S. wind industry across all 50 states, wind turbine service technicians are the fastest-growing U. S. job of the decade. The wind industry has the potential to support hundreds of thousands of more jobs by 2050.
In 2022, wind turbines in all 50 states generated more than 10 of the country’s net total energy, and investments in new wind projects added $20 billion to the U. S. economy. Wind energy is abundant and inexhaustible, providing electricity without burning fuel or polluting the air. It helps avoid 336 million metric tons of carbon dioxide emissions annually, equivalent to the emissions from 73 million cars.
Local communities benefit from wind projects, which deliver an estimated $2 billion in state and local tax payments and land-lease payments each year. This revenue can be used for school budgets, reducing homeowners’ tax burdens, and addressing local infrastructure projects.
Furthermore, wind energy is cost-effective, with land-based, utility-scale wind turbines providing one of the lowest-priced energy sources available today. Advances in wind energy science and technology continue to improve its cost competitiveness. Wind turbines work well in various settings, including agricultural and multi-use working landscapes, and are easily integrated in rural or remote areas.
What are 5 examples of wind energy?
Wind energy can be employed for a multitude of purposes, including the pumping of water, the milling of grain, the propulsion of boats, the facilitation of water sports such as kiteboarding and windsurfing, and the generation of electricity through the use of horizontal and vertical-axis turbines.
How can we use conservation of energy in real life?
The law of conservation of energy is a fundamental principle in physics, guiding the transfer of energy from one state to another. It is evident in various everyday situations, such as water converting potential energy into kinetic energy, a cue ball hitting a stationary 8 ball, Kelly bumping into her brother, a moving car hitting a parked car, a small ball hitting larger balls, a book being pushed across a table, a cat falling off a tree branch, a football being kicked on the ground, a sofa being pushed across a room, a fly ball hitting a window, two football players colliding on the field, Claire throwing a ball and knocking over her mother’s vase, fingers hitting piano keys, Billy hitting a punching bag, a dog knocking over a Christmas tree, a car hitting a road sign, the potential energy of oil or gas being converted into energy to heat a building, a bowling ball knocking over pins without losing energy, Beth hitting a wall with a hole in it, and a car breaking apart when hit by a curb.
These examples demonstrate the importance of energy transfer in everyday life, demonstrating how the law of conservation of energy is applied in various situations. Water can produce electricity through waterfalls, which convert potential energy into kinetic energy, which is then used to rotate a generator turbine. In sports, energy is transferred from the player’s body to the ball, while in everyday life, energy is transferred from the player to the object being moved.
In conclusion, the law of conservation of energy is a fundamental principle in physics that guides our actions and interactions with various objects and situations. By understanding and applying these laws, we can better understand and harness the power of energy transfer in various situations.
How can we save energy for humans?
Cancer patients can experience extreme fatigue during their treatment, which can be managed by conserving energy. To do this, it is important to plan ahead, sit down to bathe and dry off, use shower/bath organizers to reduce leaning and reaching, use extension handles on sponges and brushes, install grab rails in the bathroom or use an elevated toilet seat, and lay out clothes and toiletries before dressing. Minimizing leaning over to put on clothes and shoes, bringing your foot to your knee to apply socks and shoes, and fastening a bra in front before turning to back can also help conserve energy.
Modifying your home to maximize efficient energy use, such as placing chairs strategically for rest stops, wearing comfortable shoes and low-heeled, slip-on shoes, and wearing button front shirts instead of pullovers, can also help conserve energy.
What are 10 examples of conservation of energy?
The conservation of energy is a principle that states that energy within an isolated system is neither created nor destroyed, but simply changes from one type to another. Examples of this principle include a pendulum swinging down, a ball tossed up in the air, a skier sliding down a hill, a compressed spring launching a ball in a pinball game, and the generation of electricity inside a nuclear power plant. Identifying the system is the most challenging part of conservation of energy problems.
How to save energy?
The top 10 energy-saving tips include turning off lights and electrical appliances when not in use, using energy-saving LED light globes, closing doors and curtains, and reducing energy usage in washing and drying clothes. To improve home energy use, manage heating and cooling in the kitchen, and switch off appliances when leaving the house or going to bed. Switch off computers and equipment with energy-saving settings, such as printers or Wi-Fi routers, overnight or when away.
Energy-efficient globes can save up to 80 percent on lighting costs due to their lower power consumption and longer lifespan. By following these tips, you can significantly reduce your energy bills and save money and time on your energy bills.
What are the 5 ways to conserve wind energy?
Methods of storing wind energy include the use of batteries, compressed air energy storage (CAES), hydrogen production, pumped hydro, thermal energy storage, flywheels, supercapacitors, chemical storage, smart grids, demand response, and energy management systems. The selection of an appropriate storage method is dependent on a number of factors, including the scale, duration and grid requirements. In many cases, a combination of methods is employed in order to achieve optimal and reliable storage.
How can people conserve energy in their everyday lives?
To reduce energy consumption in your home, you can do simple things like turning off lights and appliances when not in use, performing household tasks manually, and reducing heating and cooling costs. Energy monitors can help you understand where your electricity is going and which appliances use the most electricity daily. There are various products available to improve energy efficiency and reduce overall consumption, including renewable energy sources and energy-efficient appliances. By implementing these strategies, you can reduce your dependence on fossil fuels and save money on utility bills.

Thank you so much for perusal and liking! We all share the same planet. Let’s do something to help it! Wanna watch MORE? Check out our latest article here: youtube.com/watch?v=L_WaiVi3Aik Let me know down below when you started perusal Life Noggin! Do we have anyone that’s been here since the beginning?
As a dutch person I would realy advice a bike because its realy fun to do and its better and if you think its to slow you can get an electric bike although Im dutch and here we have bike paths Everywhere thats not the case as I know since Im in australia right now (if there are Some spelling errors pls know dutch auto correct is pain in the buttox)
Read me I usually enjoy making jokes, but this is a serious topic vote for the green party ( if you live in america. ) Life is short for most people it’s important that future generations have the same opportunity’s that me, and you have. Also we should work towards getting rid of social taboos. P.s thanks 4 reading
more tips: -unplug electronic when you’re not using them. especially things you only use occasionally, just keep them unplugged until you use them. keeping them plugged in even when they’re not on uses energy!! -don’t recycle things with grease on them because they could stain the rest of the batch and all of it will have to be thrown away. please wash it off before recycling! -use ecosia!!! this is a search engine that profits from you making searches and uses the profits to plant trees!! it works 100% just as good as google/safari plus makes you feel good after searching on it -hang dry your clothes! dryers are really bad for the environment and most clothes aren’t meant to be thrown in a dryer anyway, get a cute lil clothes drying rack or hang them up outside <3 -support local small businesses instead of large damaging factory businesses -for ppl with periods: try a diva cup or period underwear! if you have a period for say 38 years you produce a total of about 62,415 pounds of JUST period waste. wow. please at least try more sustainable options, i use period underwear and it’s shockingly effective and an amazing investment. please do everything you can for our beautiful earth and her animals <3
Every little thing helps! On Earth day, someone in my community went around with flyers letting everyone know about the recycling bins, what colors go with what materials and whatnot– I didn’t even know we had recycling available! My fiancee and I recycle literally everything we can now. Sometimes all it takes is a little nudge and reminder. We can do it.
Someone. perusal is comment after 20years after perusal this article I have decided to make my own comapnies which will make electrical transportation and will recycle phones and gadgets to make them new and make solar panels and sell them to government that will make be compuly to apply them to their house and we will give free 10 plants with every product JUST IGNORE GRAMMATICAL MISTAKE
OUR world is being ruined because of what we are doing to it EVERYONE needs to work together to help it not just one person. Now I’m not one to preach but we live here every single on one of us What we don’t realize is that if the world goes down we go with it The internet was made for people to be social and that is being ruined too with scams and other things I don’t know how to fix this but I can’t do it alone NONE of us can. Once again we need to be unity and do this together🥺🥺❤️
The thing is people r more interested in how many likes they get on tik tok or how many followers they have on Instagram to actually realise the state of our planet, there are so many problems including: :pollution :plastic in the ocean :global warming :climate change :toxic waste And many more…. We need to do something before it’s too late! 🌍
Meatless Monday’s do something but it’s not saving the planet. I’m vegan and I don’t just eat salads. Meat and Dairy are so bad for the environment. I recommend perusal Cowspiracy. It talks about all the bad things about Dairy and Meat. It’s really eye-opening. But if you want to see where it comes from I recommend Earthlings. It talks about things in sections like Kosher, Beef, Dairy, Pet euthanizing etc…. Please! If you’re not ready to watch Earthlings, watch cowspiracy! Animal Agriculture is SO MUCH MORE WASTEFUL THAN CARS!!!
The thing is, people care more about animals dying when we have to care about our planet Earth LITERALLY BURNING!! Like yeah I get it, animals are cute but we have more to worry about then the animals ya know. Once we help our planet we can help those animals as well. Another thing is that people are so lazy these days. They are too lazy to walk to somewhere near by. We also are killing the planet because of fireworks!!!! Please be more cautious for our planet because if not we will sadly be no more 🙁 And yes Global warming IS REAL!!! If you don’t believe me look around, don’t you see that the weather isn’t the same as back then 🙁
Do you people perusal this article actually listened to what they say and are actually helping the earth right now? Or are you just snooping around? Because if you are snooping around then you should stop and help the earth. Because it needs it. Listen to this message and follow my rules. Please, I don’t want this place to be like this…
How I realized our planet is dying: The amazon rainforest is on fire and if it burns all trees half of our oxygen is gone Rio had a storm that looked like the apocalypse California is soon going to be underwater due to the earthquakes Animals are going extinct Bombs and missles are about to go off which will cause the end of times Our turtles are dying Bees are dying Mass shootings which is causing populations to go down which means less people Our trees aren’t the same they are dying Plastic is ruining everything The ocean isn’t as clean and clear as it use to be Riots and shootings are really bad Children are dying and starving People aren’t the same everyone is really mean and terrible today Please help us save the planet earth we can’t give up until it’s perfect again 🌻🦋🦋🐶🐱🐭🐹🐰🦊🐼🐻🐨🐯🦁🐷🐮🐸🐵🐔🐧🐦🐤🦆🦅🦉🦇🐺🐗🐴🐝🐛🐌🐞🐜🐢🐢🌲🌲🌳🌳🌴🌴🌱🌱🌿🌿🌹🌹🌷🌷💐💐🌺🌺🐚🐚🍄🍄🍁🍁🍂🍂⭐️⭐️☀️☀️🌤🌤⛅️⛅️🌥🌥☁️☁️🌦🌦🌧🌧⛈⛈🌩🌩🌨🌩❤️❤️❤️❤️
Have we crossed the point of no return in terms of damaging the planet? There is no such point. We need to trust that our thought, which is our greatest quality, can change nature. We only need to understand the direction to which we should aim our thoughts. What should we think about? What condition or state should we aspire to and ask for? In order to save our planet, we should think about positive human connections. That is, how can we, in our connections, keep nature safe? How can we all together protect our world? If we truly wish to better our planet, then we should see people holding a concern for how to positively connect everywhere that we look. It has nothing to do with recycling or other activities that we commonly associate with as being sustainable. If we come closer to and consider each other, that we will reach an entirely organic, perfectly connected and round state, then the negative forces will disappear from the world. We need to understand that if we start thinking better about each other, then the planet will recover from all harm, because our thoughts are the strongest force in nature. Likewise, our negative thoughts about each other are entirely to blame for damaging the planet. That is why the more we recycle and invest in energies and activities that we commonly think of as being sustainable, the worse our planet becomes. Nothing will work to benefit us until we reach a state where our attitude changes toward each other for the better to protect and improve our planet.
How To Live In Harmony With Nature And Reduce Pollution 1. Many Production Companies Which We Do Not Need Actually For Human Beings Has To Be Stopped We manufacture so many products and it is creating pollution. So if we minimise our products, pollution would be less. We produce so many things which we do not need, like cold drinks, leather products, potato wafers, chips, fruit juices, chocolates, biscuits, pickles, ice creams, etc. Cold drinks, fruit juices, chocolates, biscuits, pickles, ice creams, etc. should be cooked at home only. If we stopped producing this things which are not required for humans, so much pollution could be reduced. If we colour the clothes pollution occurs. So if we don’t colour our clothes, the pollution resulting from colouring the clothes can be stopped. Let everything remain in white natural colour. 2. We Should Cook Foods In Its Natural Form We can cook rice and wheat in our homes and eat it. Rice and Wheat is produced in farms. Then it is packed and transported to big warehouses, then wholesalers buy from them and supply to retail shops. But if a manufacturing company makes bread from rice and wheat, then to make bread a manufacturing company has to be set up, machines and working staffs are needed. When a company is built many other things are also needed. Then at last a plastic pack is required to pack the breads. So if we start cooking eatable things in its natural form then we do not need many companies like bread manufacturing company, tomato ketchup, noodles, fruit jam, pizza, burger, etc.
How about having a garden with a lot of succulents so you can just break off a branch then plant it in some soil then boom you have another plant and then you have more oxygen. Another good thing about succulents is that you don’t really need to water them. This will also going to help stop climate change as the plants will obviously take in the carbon dioxide and make it into oxygen like said in the article carbon dioxide is one of the major contributes to climate change. SAVE THE WOLRD PEOPLE!!
Nice, comfortable sentiments is not the answer. The truth is that corporations contribute the vast majority of greenhouse gases. Corporations provide the technology for us to use. We have greener technologies that aren’t attractive to use, most notably, thorium reactors, nuclear reactors, and hydrogen fuel cells. It’s comforting to feel like you’re lifestyle changes have an affect on the environment but IMO they don’t. We need to change so drastically for there to be any noticeable affect and that comes down to the government and corporations stepping up. It takes the people, to get angry and demand change and that’s where we come in.
why cant restaurants just. stop. feeding us meat? its not even that hard wtf. restaurants should start feeding us LESSER meat and more on fruits and veggies lmao but fr tho.people should make like an association or like a group or something to save earth; example: ecosia, 4ocean, etc. (ecosia is a search engine thingy and everytime you search, ecosia plants a tree🙂.)
in school they teach us to be responsible and not waste or litter. I may be a child but Im not dumb. You adults who are reading this teach us to not litter, teach us to be responsible and recycle. But when I look at you it makes me want to cry. You litter you dont care about our planet. And our goverment, if you cant find solitians then please stop ruining or earth! We care about our world so we must do something. This is for your saftey, our saftey, the worlds saftey. Think twice before you litter or polute
The oceans should never a.k.a: also known as not be acidified and temperatures should sometimes always a.k.a: also known as all the time rise but sometimes always a.k.a: also known as all the time drop and mostly all cities should always a.k.a: also known as all the time be preserved from as to most.
i’ve asked my mom if i could walk to school more often, and i don’t use plastic very often. but when i do, i always make sure it is recycled. this summer, i want to go down to the beach to do a beach cleanup. i only eat meat when i go out to dinner. and if you think about it, saving the world isn’t hard at all. we just need people to realize what is happening to our earth, because recycling, not eating meat very often, walking, and not using plastic is not hard at all. today, we have more power than we ever had before, and that is social media. posting about it will encourage others to help. but also start doing. whenever you see a piece of trash, please pick it up.
Here a few ways to cut down! -Turn brightness down on device -Eat meat only from your local butcher or from free range industries -Turn off lights as much as possible -DON’T BE LAZY! WALK WHEN YOU CAN! -Only eat line caught fish, eating net caught fish supports a catastrophic industry that destroys coral reefs -Buy less commercial, instead of buying ‘Presidents Choice’ products buy fresh foods from your local store -Take shorter showers -Flush toilet sparingly -HERES A HUGE FACTOR! LISTEN UP OK! Whatever amount of food you eat, you can cut down. The human body processes food at optimal efficiency when properly hydrated. If you eat 4000 calories a day but don’t have enough water you will effectively have the same calorie gain as someone who eats 2000 calories a day but has lots of water.
We can power through this I know we can. We can all do something small to make a big difference. Please do this for your friends your family and everyone. You can do something small like picking up some trash eveveryday or you can do something big like being a vegan or you can ride you bike to school/work everyday. Yes, I might just be a kid but I really do care. I don’t think humans where ever meant to cause this much damage. We need to fix what we did and turn it around. Once Covid is over maybe people will talk about pollution and global warming more? I’m working on figuring out how I can contact my state or county to make a difference. Now please join me in this fight. We got this #SaveTheEarth ✊✊🏻✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿
I wanna start a petition at my middle school next year to not use or waste paper on unimportant things such as scratch paper, regular blank paper, assignments, anything we don’t really need. We can still do homework on electronics which is easier to carry around, we are saving trees, and it can’t get lost. Scratch paper is just a waste, we have electronics to do random work on it, calculators, drawings apps, the app Notes, etc. blank papers are a waste. We don’t need them period. Now we obviously need important papers such as birth certificates, records, books, etc. We can still do art such as sketches and projects on paper, but we need to actually know what we’re doing with it before because everyone messes up and then uses another paper, then messes up and uses another, then another, and another, and another. I have this healthy living class and we were talking about recycling and I had brought up the fact that we don’t recycle during lunch and we had to make a bin OURSELVES because no one else would. We can also stop throwing waste away and we can start composting(we already do this at our school), we can fix a lot of things at school honestly, it’s one of the main culprits.
Although composting is not really difficult, it is often hard to get the necessary carbon to do the job safely at home. Even worm farms can generate fruit flies and other vermin. One really good solution to this problem would be the formation, in your area, of a community composting team. If you live anywhere in fire prone areas, the forest and scrub needs to be kept clean, and the forest fuel overburden harvested. This vital activity is overlooked, and fire is the result. Often fire is used as a control mechanism, but this is inherently hazardous and wasteful. It is precisely the carbon residuals in the forest or bushland that can provide the large volumes of absorbent carbon which are necessary for efficient, safe composting, and resulting with properly made compost. Forest management pays terrific dividends and the work extends far beyond simply harvesting trees. At the same time, households are net nitrogen producers. Household organic wastes amount to many tonnes per annum for most families, and few of them have sufficient carboniferous resources at hand for trouble free composting. One part nitrogen to thirty to fifty parts carbon is the ratio necessary for perfect humification, so forest fuel is the ideal medium for processing the household nitrogen. If the resulting compost is shared half and half between the forest and our food supply, it would be a marriage made in heaven.
I remember digging a room under the snow in my backyard when i was little. Now we don’t even have 1 day of snow, which means there’s only summer and autumn, because it’s winter when the temperature stays under 0 celsius, and without winter there’s no spring. Also why can’t for example Americans recycle 99% of all trash like we do in Finland? It’s not that hard.
I’m grateful because you provide me with easy ways, not difficult ones, to try in my life. I hope many people will watch this article to help protect our Earth. I’m going to try one of the methods from the article. Additionally, I know another easy way to try. It is turning off the power to the outlet that I want to tell you. Let’s start by doing small things together to help save our beautiful Earth. 10617 이서원
If everyone in the world did these things, nothing would change.. but it would make a world record of the largest circle jerk. This isn’t about the environment, because everyone saying it is, isn’t personally doing anything about it except asking for power and more power. I don’t see very many people going to get a 10kw solar array for their home (like I am, for prepping purposes)
I have never been to the beach, but marine garbage has become my fault. When I was a child, I was taught not to eat shark fins, but the only time I saw shark fins was in a TV commercial. I am just an ordinary person, why do I have to share the sins of the rich? 3% of the world’s rich people consume 65% of the resources, but require 97% of ordinary people to save resources. Then what? The resources we save will be taken back to the rich to waste. The water I saved for 20 years is not as much as the water they use to maintain their golf lawns. When I learned that the faucet in Kardashian’s house is never turned off, saving water has been erased from my dictionary. Wealth cannot be shared, but sins must be shared.
THINGS YOU CAN DO TO SAVE THE EARTH 1. Plant tress 2. Clean the ocean 3. help animals and endangered species 4. don’t use cars! 5. pick up trash 6. reuse things 7. DON’T USE PLASTIC STRAWS 8. tell your friends, family, anyone to help the fight to save earth! Thank you so much if you do all the things it is very very helpful for earth!!
I wrote this to the UN so now I’ll write it to Truth to Power… Ty Dear United Nations, Please present this information to the next gathering of World Leaders. Help Me & My Family achieve our goal of implementing these Electrical Boxes in busy roads in all major cities all around the World. Your Friends from Colombia & USA. Please can we request permission to show your article on our outdoor Big Screen in Millennium Square in Bristol, UK? The screen is free and open to the public and wethecurious is an educational charity. We’d like to show your article on the 21st of August so it would be amazing if you could get back to us Many Thanks, Shanay, Zahur, Sahra, Amandeep and Alexis.
Save the earth was a popular thing around a few months ago. I believe nobody cares about climate change anymore. To be honest it got worse. I live in Romania, a country towards the south east of Europe, and it’s usually pretty cold. This weekend it was 46 degrees Celsius. I’m no expert but I believe that is around 100 degrees Fahrenheit. Can you imagine that? It wasn’t even livable outside. I couldn’t stand out there for 5 minutes. It was way too hot. I feel like nobody is adressing climate change anymore and that is really sad. People have to be more aware. Take as an example Notre Dame: The roof burned. 0 were killed, 3 injured. A lot of people addressed it, billions were donated. As for climate change? The damage will be irreversible and it’s only OUR generation that can save it. This comment might draw some hate, but if you have nothing nice to say, or any tips on actually saving the planet I suggest you don’t reply.
Needed to get to the next town to work night shift. Can drive there in 25 minutes, but car undergoing repairs. 40 minutes walk to station,to find trains cancelled. Huddled on platform on freezing night waiting. Station on wrong side of town for place of work. Took 5 hours to get there,3 hours late. Bus home the next day didn’t show up,driver of later bus said due to driver shortage – people quit because of abuse (some people don’t know how to behave properly any more). Rely on public transport they say.
Save nature Save ourselves Earth itself didn’t gave us life Nature did And if the nature dies We die And earth becomes a dead, hot, rocky planet And will keep existing for billions of years We have to do something and not kill our time Remember guys 2050 – 2100 is our deadline This isn’t a song This is a message i wanted to give you
a huge way to help is to pour out all the water that’s in storage all over the world. tanks, radiators, water bottles, soda, beer etc … really think about it, a lot of water is in storage, and it needs to get back into the eco system. I believe if we pour it all out, we will start seeing a positive change in climate. THINK ABOUT IT!!! WE NEED TO DO THIS
Dude, meat is not the problem. Get educated and stop spreading your nonsense about food. Go to the EPA website and find the real truth about greenhouse gas emission. Also, you might want to watch the movie, “Seeds of death; unveiling the lies of GMO’s” and see who’s causing harm contaminating our soils, our air, our waters and our foods, consequently our health and our planet.
Life Noggin I do think it is nice that you want to help teach people to save the world. You know since you, I, them and all our children and their children and their children kind of need this planet to live. Very nice of you Mr. Noggin. You do know that you are only teaching the people in the “Western” part of the world. The West is not like the Rest. Have you every gone for a walk and come home covered in black soot? You know one of those walks where you literally choke on the soot from cars, buses, trucks, and motorcycles. You can actually see cobweb like chunks floating in it and feel it sticking to your throat. Have you ever been on the top of a hill over looking the valley and see the thick black cloud canvassing the valley. And then see it happening over and over on every valley simultaneously as you journey onward? I live on an island in Southeast Asia with a population of more than 140 million people. 140 million people all driving motor vehicles pouring out this unsavory toxic black smoke. The worst part of the day is between 6am and 10pm and there is no one in this world with a plan to stop this problem. And we have not even begun to talk about the industrial part of the problem. You see when a Western Corporation pays a bribe to the local governments here it really does nothing to help the environment. Have you ever watched mothers bathing their children with river water polluted with trash, toxic chemicals and heavy metals? But hey, you got your toys so don’t rock the boat or you just might fall in and catch some toxic disease.
READ ALL i really hope that humanity can make a difference both in climate change but also the power we have. imagine that a whole species have spread all around the globe and created so much to make our lives longer and easier, but while we do that we destroy where we come from and what we are. we selfishly captures animals for food. a lot of the meat we eat doesn’t just help change the climate, it also comes from factories where they live in seriously bad conditions all their lives so we have food. we also throw a lot of food, and the mayority of food we grow aren’t even for us, it’s for the animals held captured. imagine all the chickens never being able to see daylight in their life or the chicks that were just born, ready to grow up living in those factories and becoming chicken nuggets. the fur industry isn’t much better either. i recommend looking up a article from any fur industry and after that stop wearing fur. we destroy the climate, we ruin animals lifes by never letting many of them ever see daylight so we can eat them, and remember all the political, homophobic, racial problems we all have as well. all the power we have and we’re just parasites, destroying what made our existence even happening. i’m so disappointed in our species. also don’t forget to buy eco friendly and cruelty free products! i believe in us!
Would really be nice if landlords were more understanding about repurposing and recycling – mine gets his knickers in a knot when so much as a bike being refurbished for donation is sitting in the yard between pension payments while I save for needed parts. “It looks too cluttered, throw it out!” seems to be landlord standard comment if you DARE try to fix things instead of throwing them away.
Think about all the things that could go wrong. Like revealing the truth and it not happening at the time you made the plan and having it actually happen right now and having no power to actually act against it. How about being confused about who you are and where you actually are. Being forever trapped? Going in circles when you need to go in a line. Being tricked from very beginning? Missing critical info. Having an illness such as dementia. Being chewed by a weird thing.
It sucks how simple this stuff is and how nothing can be done if only a few individuals follow these steps. I want to do my part to save this planet, but not eating meat one day out of the week won’t change anything. Not driving a car as often as I can won’t change anything. It is going to take a lot more than just a handful of people to make any of these changes. I feel like following these steps is almost pointless because I know I’m not making a difference at all. The world clock still ticks closer to the end date. Factories keep churning, millions of other cars keep burning, livestock is still slaughtered regardless of if I’m eating it or not…. There has to be a universal solution, this can’t be done unless it’s one size fits all
I eat meat only once a week (chicken cuz its my fave) and instead of cow milk i drink plant based milk like soya or almond milk. And i dont have a car right now, i usually take the train, bus or my bicykle if I need to go somewhere. I want to buy a car but its because of my personal reasons. My mom is sick so she has to go to the hospital to another city that are so far away and she cant use transport by herself because its even hard for her to walk, taxi are so exepensive in my country. Anyway that what I changed to save our planet. Little does a lot. What you guys changed in ur life to save the planet?
Me and my friend even though we are all 10 and 11 we pick up litter every day trying to save OUR planet people dont realise how much the world could change if every person in the world picked up 1 piece of litter a day or more.people dont realized they are risking there life. And pulition is not a joke.
I am only 12 so (and I know that this is what everyone says) but I feel like there is nothing I can do because I would love to do like a beach clean up or something but I think it would be best if it was my whole school but I don’t now how I would suggest that as the eco club is only for the younger kids Reply if you have any suggestions
Can anyone that tell me about it that for 3 years. How many people that love of the environment a new green deal and to stop of the global warming you know because people are using gasoline engine different size of cause especially that you know that people are driving past by the black smoke of a the car it is really a something that it is not good to to breathe it’s something like it’s going to be well sometimes that people going to get as much in the younger age and older downtown is going to be different but sometimes that I was going to happen but sometimes that people are not pay attention very carefully about it well the consequences is going to be for children and grandchildren and to the Future that there’s no going back because that time is over the past so how to protect that for the environment a green New Deal and Specialties at the most important. All that the global warming because cars instead of using today the cost is still using right now and how many cars that are of what you look what you seeing and what you smell like there that is not good. Now you understand especially that well how bizarre this is that many people that are buying plants that it is good over the environment but you know what it’s already too little too late for 4 years right now each one of them of different Summers you know for years and Specialty. It’s already the damage is already done the consequences that the Heatwave is going to be hot and a few months later of a different season it’s going to get colder snow or blizzard worst 1904 but you could tell the difference out of each year that the people took a picture that the witness said that it was so snow that it is 5 ft heat and chemistry of toilet people so it’s that only time that tell that people want to save what they just don’t want to take the ducal Arabic stuff but other people is very important stuff that is matter is life cleaner and better future
You want to really make a difference? I challenge you to live in a house for one year without running water. I have been for 5 years. I use way less water than my peers. I also produce my own energy with mobile solar panels and battery bank. I live in a little home, a yurt which is awesome. I don’t buy packaged meat but if it there is old food on my family table about to rot, I will eat it before it goes bad. I have a composting toilet. And I use my waste to build garden soil. And I don’t have AC or central heating. I’m lucky to live in a forest for firewood but it does get hot in the summer. But I have adapted to live just fine, shade cloth is the answer. I think anyone can. Learn how to take a spit bath. I ride an ebike all over the place and drive way less than I used to. Not that you have to all your life, but it makes you and the planet better.

“Please thank all those kids riding skateboards because they’re kinda saving the world. Even though they won’t get off my lawn.” You know that girl that has blue pigtails? She is my 2nd favorite person in these articles. How about another agreement guys. Let’s all call her Alicia. That name best fits her personality.
I have very bad allergy at a lot of plant things : my body is clearly meant for animal product But I ended meat some month ago and i don’t regret it : it cost so much less and it invite me to discover new thing 🙂 i couldn’t stop dairy because of my allergy but hey that’s a start . I f you want to still eat meat consider it once or twice a week : it’s the healthy amount you should eat : we aren’t meant to eat meat every day
Our future really is looking bleak and it makes me so sad because it’s not going to get better until people start doing things but humanity right now is living in the past back when consumption of all the things now was still relatively ok but now we have started to do that again and its not ok anymore but we are all caught up in a trance now that virtual reality tech is better articles games are better movies and shows are longer its all just really bad and people claiming to be depressed and procrastination is spreading like the plague
Im trying to save the earth even tho im only 12 my parents are really strict they only use plastic straws i tried to tell my dad to stop using so much plastic but he wont listen to me everytime i use plastic i feel guilty or every time i eat meat i just imagine those poor animals being killed its so sad to see this world getting worse and worse in a few years we will be sleeping on trash bags! 😪😥
