Disney’s Pocahontas film, which portrayed Native-American culture, has been criticized for straying too far from the truth, leading parents to refuse to show it to their children. A recent study published in the Child and Adolescent Social Work Journal suggests that Disney animated movies can be helpful for parents in communication with their children. However, parents need to closely monitor what their children are watching and be cautious of the media viewing habits they pass on.
Pop culture lovers in the BuzzFeed Community have asked about random movies or TV shows their parents would not allow them to watch growing up. Netflix is rolling out Kids Activity Reports and Family Profiles to help parents better connect with their kids and understand what they’re watching. Parents now feel more anxious than before and believe coddling their children will protect them from a world that feels more like home.
There have also been shifts in cultural attitudes and awareness over the contents of films. Parent choice night introduces new “favorite” movies into the kid rotation, but having kids no longer allows them to watch movies with the same suspension of reality. Watching these movies with an older child is a wonderful opportunity to discuss values and beliefs as a family.
New research suggests kids are watching movies that are too violent and parents are letting them. Disney can be racist, and the “kill the mom thing” issue raises concerns about the role of mothers. Common Sense has been the leading independent source for media recommendations and advice for families since 2003.
📹 Hook: Why parents hate their children
Clip from the Disney movie “Hook” where the captain explains why parents hate their children. Funny stuff! I make no claim to any …
Why do I not enjoy playing with my child?
Playtime is essential for raising happy, healthy kids, with immense social, emotional, and educational benefits. It’s normal for mothers to have moments of parenting that feel like a chore, and it’s perfectly normal to have moments of parenting that feel like a chore. Poole encourages mothers to challenge the expectation that they must enjoy every moment of motherhood, as it’s a lot of crying, diapering, and sleep deprivation.
By being honest with ourselves about what we don’t enjoy, we can make room for what we truly love to do with our children. Navigating playtime with kids requires a healthy dose of grace and gentleness. Early childhood researchers have dubbed play the “profession” of childhood.
Why do children reject one parent?
Alienating parents psychologically manipulate a child into showing unwarranted fear, disrespect, or hostility towards other parents or family members. This behavior is common in high conflict couples, but many children do not become alienated and continue to have a relationship with both parents. Alienation is just one of many dynamics that lead to a child resisting or refusing contact with a parent.
Newer formulations view alienation as falling on a continuum from alliance to alienation, with children wanting to be with both parents at one end and unrealistically refusing contact at the other end. The authors identify levels of relationship between a child and parent: affinity; alliance; realistic estrangement; and alienation.
What is depleted mother syndrome?
Mom burnout, also known as depleted mother syndrome, is a feeling of mental, emotional, and physical exhaustion, depersonalization, and lack of fulfillment resulting from intense child care demands. It is more common among women due to the disproportionate burden of parenting responsibilities on mothers, even when they work full-time outside the home. Symptoms of mom burnout include extreme feelings of exhaustion, depersonalization, and lack of fulfillment.
How to deal with not seeing your children?
To cope with the loss of a child, it is essential to establish a support network and share your feelings with others who are experiencing similar situations. This can help you feel safe and supported, which can be a powerful tool for healing and moving forward. Research local support groups and find a therapist if a support group isn’t suitable for you. A therapist can help you explore your feelings, identify emotional wounds, and provide strategies to help you heal and let go of negative emotions. By doing so, you can move forward and move forward in your life.
What to do when your parents are against you?
Psychologists Alyson Corner and Angela Levin have launched a website, myhorridparent. com, to help victims of horrid parenting survive and become good parents themselves. The website was created after realizing that there are parents who seem determined to put their children down, diminishing them and rubbishing them. The idea for the site came from realizing that many parents can think of something they have done in haste and regretted later. The crucial difference between being good enough and being horrid is that the crucial difference is that the parent apologises; the capacity to stand back, recognize mistakes, and say sorry is key.
Horrid parents don’t do this because they haven’t done what is the top requirement of good enough parenting, which is to put their child at No 1 on their priority list. For them, someone or something else is No 1 – it might be themselves (narcissistic parents) or an anger or obsession or need of their own that eclipses the needs of their child.
In conclusion, there is no such thing as “horrid parenting” and there is no such thing as “good enough” parenting. The website aims to help victims of such parenting survive and eventually become good parents themselves.
What is a red flag in child development?
The text delineates the various symptoms of a particular condition, including the use of a single hand for tasks, difficulty in moving or opening a hand or arm, drowsiness during intense tasks, uncoordinated movements, and the presence of crayon strokes that are either too heavy or light to see. Additionally, the text mentions any known medical diagnoses.
Why do I avoid seeing family?
Feelings of animosity and lack of connection to family can be caused by toxic behaviors, abuse, neglect, or conflict. Family relationships are often rooted in shared experiences and proximity, making them fraught with issues. Clinical psychologist Joshua Coleman suggests that society’s focus on forgiveness can lead to feelings of guilt and shame when disliking or being estranged from family. Coping with these difficult emotions may involve mending broken relationships or setting and enforcing boundaries with family members. It is essential to find a balance between fostering a strong connection and addressing the root causes of family issues.
What is toxic parenting?
A toxic parent creates an unhealthy environment for their child through negative behaviors such as constant criticism, manipulation, emotional neglect, or physical abuse. This results in a harmful and unhealthy environment for the child.
What to do when no one wants to play with your child?
When children say “no one will play with me”, it’s important to avoid rushing in and fix things. Instead, work together to find solutions, such as watching TV to build social skills or working with kids on conversation skills. Listening to their concerns is the best place to start. Play is as important to young kids as money and love to adults, so don’t downplay it by saying “everything will be fine tomorrow”. If you missed a chance to play with some kids, don’t downplay it by saying “everything will be fine tomorrow”.
What are the psychological effects of being separated from your child?
The process of separation can increase the likelihood of a number of adverse outcomes, including depression, difficulties in social functioning, attachment issues, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in both parents and children.
Why do kids exclude other kids?
The practice of excluding peers is an unhealthy coping mechanism for children who experience discomfort with group dynamics. These children may feel safer playing with only one child and avoid joining others when they try.
I have a weird theory about Hook. After all he has all sorts of information be could never have acquired, and despite being a villain he seems to do just as much to help Peter remember as anyone has. He always said he wanted a war, but all he does is goad Peter into being a better parent. In brainwashing Jack he almost gives Peter a glance into the future as to what will happen if he continuously ignores his children. It’s as if Hook was never a villain at all, but an uncouth spiritual guide. Always thought it strange when he threatens “This is all a dream you know, when you wake up you’ll just be Peter Banning, a selfish drunk who runs and hides from his wife and children”
When you think of it, the film reinforces that the effects of Neverland seem not to work so well on girls, like there’s something about them that is unwilling to fully give themselves over to just up-and-forgetting things. Several iterations of Wendy in films have done this, and Maggie also falls into this category, in how she holds on strongly to the wish to go home to her parents.
My dad used to love this scene when I was a kid, and as an adult I realize it’s because Hook’s communicating to kids what a hassle they can be and gives them some empathy, but it turns straight into evil when he says her parents didn’t want her and liked life without her better. Sure, maybe there’s a few parents who do, but a lot of parents don’t. The fact that he can go from truth to a lie so smoothly is what makes him so scary 💀💀💀
Hook may just be manipulating the two into joining him as part of his plan, but what if this little “why parents hate their children” lesson is like a window into Hook’s personal backstory. Think about it; what if Hook lived in a loveless childhood home with negligent parents who abused him, paid little attention to him and probably even tried to dispose of him on more than one occasion just so they won’t have to deal with him anymore? It would’ve made more sense for his character. A man who has no concept of love since he was never given any when he was a child himself because his parents HATED him.
My parents once told me they wanted to have a son because both of them already enjoyed their time together, made some savings and “felt” the need to enrich their existance by forming a family and raising a new being. Of course, that was the only significative and endearing talk I had with them before they started working 24/7 and the only time I was able to see them… was when they were sleeping after a very long exhausting day. I used to read aloud my own books during bedtime. AND NOW I’M DOING EXACTLY THE FREAKING SAME WITH MY KIDS! … Adulthood is complex.
The sad thing about James Hook is that what he says perfect makes sense to him, he is not a liar, in his mind at least, he genuinely believes that he is telling them the truth and considering what a messed up childhood he had resulting in his cynical attitude towards the relationship between child and parent which is a reflection of his own dark relationship he had with his own mother when he was a little boy and the way she attempted to indoctrinate him to carry on the family tradition and be a pirate captain just like her, something he originally did not want to be, which makes his attempt to indoctrinate Peter’s kids come full circle in what, in a sad twist of irony, is what originally happened to him. Maybe that’s why he was so hell-bent on brainwashing Peter’s children, as a misguided attempt to vent his frustration from his own insecurities about the unresolved childhood trauma he endured from his mom when he was their age.
When I was a kid, I thought what hook was saying was just the mean words of a wicked pirate. Now some 25 years on, I realize, he was right the whole time. All parents want to do is pacify their kids, just to have some quiet moments to themselves. Now I know why my dad went to the local pub every night.
damn man. never really thought that much about how evil this makes hook out to be. taking kids to neverland brainwashing them into hating and then forgetting their parents and just leaving them to live the rest of their days as kids. i watched this a lot as a kid and all i ever really took in from this was ‘i want, i want, i want, mee, me, me,me, mine, mine, mine, now, now, now ‘gaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.’
I used to think his plan was lame… I watch this now and just think sarcastically back “Uhm… because they’re toxic? Pissed that they can’t live their dreams through us? Because they can’t handle the fact that we’ll fit into a secular, logical cookie cutter mold?” But let’s face it, only the strong (those capable teaching true values, empathy and discipline) ought to have kids.
This character and what he says here really makes some people lose their minds and get CRAZY defensive! I dont ascribe anything personal to it, I just think the dynamic is hilarious. But on a more psychological note, I think children AND parents can be selfish. But children are expected to be selfish, they cant help it. Parents are expected to be selfLESS. But FEELING selfish doesn’t make you a bad parent it’s what you DO with those feelings that’s important. Also nothing wrong with wanting or not wanting kids. People who have them are not better or more selfless than those that dont. Ever had a kid that said ‘I didnt ASK to be born!’? Ever said it yourself? It makes parents angry because it’s true as much as what Hook says in the moment. But it’s also true that the decision to have children is by origin a selfish one, (selfish isn’t necessarily a negative word) it does call for you to make sacrifices and selfless decisions but you’re not a saint because you do it, after all you chose that path/responsibility. It’s just on you to decide if you can do that without excuse/fail because once a kid arrives, if you decide at any point that you cant uphold that end of the deal, you cant undo it. That’s why I feel that you can never underthink that decision and I can at least respect those who are super honest about their feelings whether it’s both or one or the other. Its not a competition nor a personal indictment since only you have the right answer for YOU.
Maggie was such strong character. Hook trying to manipulate her. Maggie looks him in the eye and tells him he’s a bad man. Then tries to rip off his hook telling him off how she hates him. So strong. Then as she’s dragged out of the room she demands her brother hear shouting never land makes you forget, run home. The lore is never land does make you forget the real world. Jack completely forgets who his father is his father, and his former life because he was manipulated. But not Maggie. She never forgot. She sang her mom’s song. When her dad appeared to save her at the end she immediately recognized him. Such a strong female character at such a young age. And props to the kid that plays her. I think Maggie is over looked and under rated. But she has few scenes and her co stars are big names. Love this movie. There’s to many great Scenes. And the freaking soundtrack. Top 5 favorite movies
1:58-2:03: Maggie: An “F”, an “F”, he gave me an “F.” Hook: Serves you right for calling me a bad man. Smee: Nobody calls Captain Hook a bad man. Jack: Chill out Maggie, we’re not in a real school and it’s not like that “F” will go on your permanent record. Besides, show some respect to Hook. He’s more father like to us than our real dad.
Honestly, Hook might’ve been way scarier in this film than he ever was in the original play/book, or any other media, really. He never really had a way to completely fuck with Peter mentally, but now he does. The almost predator/prey game he plays with these children makes him even creepier, and more villainous. Spielberg and Hoffman knew exactly what they were doing. The more I go back and watch these clips, the more I realize why so many people say Hoffman is the perfect Hook.
For those of you whom might actually be wondering just that very one Question of how Hook exactly knows about Jacks Bitter and Dismay Feelings And Disappointment about how his Dad had ended up with Missing out on his Baseball Game Completely that he had ended up loosing where right before leaving for London ? Well as it turns out when you read the Actual Novel to Hook Written and Based on the Movie Itself Hook actually mentions to Jack at some point that he has a Spyglass and that’s what explains how he accurately and honestly knows so much of everything that’s going in the Banning Children’s Lives ! 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Hooks knack to want to divide the family was truly agonizing to watch and indicative of one attitude and agenda as ill attentive of the hero/and protagonist and reflected on how truly well versed Dustin Hoffman was as a villain. A true Savage his role and character (hook) was. Hook: Love, is that the uhh… Smee: the ‘L’ word captain. Hook: ooo, hmm, hmm, yes. Lol,🤣
Amblin is Speilburg’s company that he makes most of his movies through. Usually you find the logo at the end of the credits without much mention in the opening. Still don’t know why he does it like that. Lucas is sure to put his Lucasfilm right in front there….but that’s Lucas. he’s a little crazy lol
@gluband That’s very true, but Disney does have some part in this (in a way). When Spielberg was making this film, he wanted to do some sort of spiritual sequel to the 1924 film, and the Disney film. Though not officialy related or anything, Disney did inspire Spielberg. Alot of fans though, see Hook as a sequel to the 2003 movie, and to be honest, I can see the reasons why.
“You’re a liar!” “Ha-HAA!! Ha ha ha, my child; I am a thief, I am a scoundrel, I am a derelict; Anyone who is unfortunate enough to be under my employ can attest that I am a horrible, miserable, contemptable, despicable low-life. I shot a friend when his back was turned, I have robbed from my mother’s open casket. I have slaughtered helpless animals and tortured and killed children, many, many children. Some of which, were only innocent bystanders. My eternal damnation awaits me in the abysmal pits of Hades below. BUT! I have never, ever, EVER crossed my tongue. I. Never. Lie. Tell her Smee, how I always keep to the letter of my word.”

Quite relatable, they understand that child is hiding something, they understand that the child is lying but why on the earth they can’t understand what is going on inside the child, how depressed the child is, how vulnerable and pathetic the child feels, how low the child feels when their own parents can’t understand their state of mind, just because child keep all the frustration inside and act normal doesn’t mean that the child is normal and when the frustration comes out in form of replies they consider it as an insult
I got 60% in math and they said “I can’t believe how little effort you put into this! Study more” I already study hard a lot. I even cried because of just a sentence, they don’t know how much effort we put, how much we cry, how much hard work we do. I just learned that when I have a kid. I won’t put pressure in to them, I will teach them how they will enjoy it and how they will like it. This generations parents will be the best❤
It’s true that “the next generation will have the best parents to ever exist”. It’s cause we know what it feels like to hear taunts constantly about everything we do and have to answer so many questions for them to believe us. And then they say “you’re a kid, you don’t have stress or depression” 😢😢 Edit: Spelling correction
They also don’t understand that some games we can’t pause so if it’s time for dinner or something they’ll say something like “pause your game! Dinner time,” so then we’ll say “I can’t pause the game though! Let me finish the round” and then parents will say “Pause it or I’ll take your phone away!” Well that’s at least what my parents would do. Is this relatable to anyone else?
My parents told me this “you’re grandparents are strict, we know it doesn’t feel good… That’s why we won’t be strict to you” i forgot the exact quote but it’s like that. And i think every parents needs to be like that, if you know something is bad/doesn’t feel good, don’t do that to your kids, they will see you as a bad parents and might go rouge.
Hey everyone, I am just sharing what happened till today. I am a jee aspirant 2026 and my parents always want me to wake up at 4 am and study 14-16 hrs daily, they don’t even care that I come from the Institute or they don’t even ask about how’s the test Or how are you studying. Even I scored 93.40 in 10 boards, they didn’t appreciate me. Infant they wanted more percentage. They never understood what I faced or what am I facing, they just want more and more from me Even if I tell them about my feelings, they say speak politely or don’t shout, like you want to listen also but also want not to listen. I wrote a lot I guess, but if I write everything, it will never end
A dad is someone who wants to catch me before I fall but instead picks me up, brushes me off, and let’s me try again. A dad is someone who wants to keep myself from making mistakes but instead let’s me find my own way, even though his hearts breaks in silence when I get hurt. A dad is someone who comforts me when I cry, scolds me when I break the rules, shines with pride when I succeed, and has faith in me when I fail❤ A mother is a strong protector, providing unconditional love and support, A mother is a teacher, imparting wisdom and life lessons, A mother is a nurturer, caring for the physical and emotional needs of her children, A mother is a role model, inspiring her children to be their best, A mother is a confidante, providing a listening ear and nonjudgmental advice, A mother is a best friend, always there for her children no matter what❤

This is true Same happens with me…and parents don’t understand the child. last one is relatable and i have to hide the sadness, stress, depression and fake smile and they don’t understand how the child feels. Child feels like my parents don’t understand me i have gone through this feelings most…it hurts from inside😔💔
As a parent I totally understand that other parents have a great fear of their children becoming them instead of better than them so they freak out at every little thing because they just want the best for you but suck at communication. I hope when my son is older we can talk about things and I’m not going to take out my bad choices on him.
and the most important one they think we don’t care about their feelings just becoz we aren’t able to reach their expectations for us but secretly we pray for their happiness soo for all parents reading this pls don’t think ur daughter/ son doesn’t like u or care about you just becoz they can’t perform well, they also love you with an open heart ❤
I’m the oldest child and my dad totally sided with me for everything because he is also the oldest but my mom is the youngest and she was spoiled and she even said that she was a spoiled kid. So she doesn’t get what it means to be the oldest sibling. The worst part is all the pressure and responsibilities inflicted upon you. So to any older siblings out there I feel you😢
Sometimes, it is not bcoz they don’t understand. It is bcoz there are some children who do bad by closing doors etc. Everyone blames our parents when something happens. And they don’t want us to be bad. They care us than everything. They love us more than anything. They lives for us. They trust their child. But these are the realities of this world. We can’t avoid that totally. So They understands us.so they checks amd cares everything about us. And my mother does this.. At that moment i really feels exhausted but then i realize that, my mother don’t want me to become bad. She cares and loves me. So i love her 💗💗sorry for the long comment.. 🙏🙏
Thing parents need to understand We need our own space Just bc we’re still kids Doesnt mean we can’t have privacy Not showing our phones Doesnt mean we’re doing smth bad Talking back is normal Some kids get depressed from agony because of how parents treat us Low scores Doesnt mean we’re failures Smiling Doesnt mean we’re actually happy Parents need to understand our mental health Reminders: Don’t think ur a mistake/failure/disappointment ur just a kid, don’t kill urself ur beautiful god made u for a reason, ur very beautiful and pretty the way u are❤
date:- 10/3/24 Time:- 11:00pm I was feeling very heavy in my heart do I come here to write and make myself feel better… Tomorrow is my mosi’s weeding so me, my sister and my mother were packing I am like tomboy so I was trying a anarkali dress so I said my mother to help me but instead she said me your becoming pig day by day eating like no tomorrow you can’t even handle yourself your becoming fatty, making your skin dark, behaving like lesbian and so on I feel hurt and left there feeling hurt.. haa I don’t know why my parents and sister is pushing me towards depression in the age of 13 I cry in bathroom, sometimes holding pillow at night, sometimes in an empty room…. the laughing one is so true and one time i tried to fight back heres a short story which literallu nobody asked about! When i was perusal some random shit on instagram the article was too muchh relatable so i started having a smirk on my face my mom was staring at me ans i didnt even realize until i looked away from the screen of my phone i was like,”Ummmm mom what happened? she said,”What are you doing?why are you laughing” i was like,”Ummmm why are you asking me that bruh? she said,”YOUNG LADY IK WHO YOU ARE TALKING TO!! i said,”Ahh i get it you think i am talking to boys right? she said,”OFC WHAT ELSE WOULD YOU BE DOING WHEN YOUR USING INSTAGRAM AT SUCH A YOUNG AGE DONT YOU KNOW YOUR ONLY 15! I said, “well i am above 12 so theres not much problem? she said,”yOuNg lAdY i DaRe yOu tO tAlKbAcK tO mE” i said,”Uhhhh whats your problem!!!!I have no ineterest in boys ok” she said,”why cant you be more like your cousin she is so ambitious and intellegent she focuses on getting a job instead of hanging out with boys” i said,”IF YOUR GONNA COMPARE ME WITH THAT 24 YEAR OLD COUSIN OF MINE IT WOULD MAKE ME MORE WEAKER AND I WILL NOT HAVE ENOUGH CONFIDENCE ALL THAT CONFIDENCE I LOST WHEN I BECAME 12 WAS BECAUSE YOU KEPT COMPARING ME WITH MY COUSIN I DONT CARE WHAT THAT GIRL DOES I ONLY CARE ABOUT MY FUTURE STOP COMPARING ME!!!! Then i ran in my rook and locked the door and cried in depression😢she knocked the door after 5 hours when i was still there in stress she came in and asked for a apology and i was enough good to accept the apology us teen forgive them even after they do all that:( i hope a parent saw this especially a millenial or an X
bro I swear parents need to take an IQ test on who understands kids feelings real good and who can be the good parent, I’m feeling so depressed right now on summer break because 1st my mom wasn’t proud I graduated HS, 2nd 3 days after graduation she took my phone away now I’m using my old phone, 3rd she didn’t say i love you or she didn’t hug me when i told her good night, god i didn’t know graduating HS was gonna lead me to depression, i thought my mom would be least be proud but she’s never proud of me😭😭😭💔
There is a difference in a conversation and talking back. A conversation is when your understanding eachother on stuff and agreeing on certain topics. However talking back is like for example someone is mad at you for lying and instead of saying ” sorry ” or ” I understand ” you say ” no I didn’t ” ” I didn’t do it though ” or whispering something bad about them. Also if there mad at you it’s obviously not a conversation, no matter what you say or how you say it they will always be mad so instead of saying something like I didn’t do it or something while there getting mad at you just say sorry. It’s not that bad. Talk about it at home, punch a pillow don’t make them get a bad impression of you just because your trying to prove your point.
Nothing but The last one sometimes happened with me 🙂 I wanna add another thing: Someone can’t be perfect in every side, she or he may week in something that’s don’t means that she or he never success in future, they will surely success in future Dear parents, Stop compared your child with another children . it’s really heart too much 🙂💔 Parents should support their kid always in every situation 😊 and try to understand them . Thank you so much for reading this comment 🤍 .
Off topic but I was friends with a girl from Roblox named Ky(she was a boy) and we been friends for 7 months. I would lie a lot and I wish I nvr said “I have cancer” because we where in an argument and I now I regret it. I wish I nvr said that and I cry every night I wish I nvr said that bc I loved her so much and I hope she can forgive me
The most depressed and hurtful thing is to watch your parents fight, I don’t know how I am bearing all this since birth. Girls say that they are daddy’s princess I wish I could say the same but here it’s not like that, why always patents show that they have done this and that for us but still there lacks something that is pure love and bond, sometimes I just feel like to leave everything and go that world where there is peace. They don’t know what they are doing to us and at last They will blame us for our failure why I just want to know why my father never raised his hands on me but he neither gave us that love which we craved for, he shouts on us, my parents compare me with others no matter how better I am from other students They don’t stop comparing why not all parents deserve children and not all children deserve parents. I saw many other kids who have more toxic parents than mine but again I saw many kids having better family than mine. I don’t want to live with them anymore. I want to grow up early, earn myself and live separately or else their toxicity will kill me…
Sometimes I play this type of articles and remember how they treat me . I always try to be better but they didn’t try to understand me and my thoughts. Upcoming generation will never understand the pain suffer this generation boys. I am not sure but I think most of the boys of this generation like me just wants a peaceful, happy and understanding life with their family . But this hope still a dream for most of the boys like me 😅.
4 things perents says When your parents are scrolling you 1. If you keep quiet – you are rude u don’t care about what they are saying 2. If you are explaining what happened – you have huge attitude and you are talking 3.( If they are shouting) and if u shouted back – you are a bad daughter 4. If you cry ( when you can’t hold your tears anymore ) – you are trying to make them scared by crying ( they think it’s all a drama) The best thing they say is you don’t deserve to be their child
My parents taking my phone away affects my only chance to get help from friends during my depression. I was often avoiding my friends so that they wouldn’t know about the abuse I had to go through as a kid. It got so bad I almost wanted to kill myself so much. Days to weeks went by fast and I couldn’t hold it much longer. I could never sleep as well so I kept on overdosing my sleep medication but it never worked, so everyday I would eat atleast 3-4 pills a day! This all took place in Elementary school sadly.
Not meeting with my bestie cause i lost them in phone and can’t talk with her for 5 months but today i met so happily. Btw i changed my house area, so we can’t talk anymore, but we are still best friends forever. A true friend can’t be replaced. But my mom: A true friend will call you in phone or chat with you. Me: I lost her, she doesn’t know my number!!!
Guys u dont know listen parents become more and more kiddish while we grow up and it is a bad habbit to answering there questions if they give us permission than we can answer and they can think anything they have works and they have to take care of us so they can aldo think that why did i close the door its a simple thing we can take permission before doing that Thats called a good child and follow this u will also be the one❤️
One thing my mom always does is every time I’m not in the mood or don’t answer the exact way she wants me to, she instantly goes off at me and is like why are u this and that and I just storm off.. she never just accepts when I am actually going through things. I tell her hrs ago what happened than she still yells at me for being how I am.
if this comment has bad grammar I’m truely sorry) My mom spends so much time in private talking to her boyfriend, yes she has a boyfriend, she likes someone else than my father, yes she visits her boyfriends house multiple times a week, and I don’t want to question her saying “do u have a boyfriend” I know she’s gonna be mad at me so I stay quiet. But when I need privacy talking to my female friend (I’m a female too) she says “ik ur lying ur probably gonna talk to a guy” and she always acts like she “loves” my father and she doesn’t have a boyfriend My father also has a other wife (my father doesn’t live in our house he lives in another state) so he can visit his other wife whenever he wants to
It’s no one’s fault, just the world is cruel and people’s perspectives and mindsets are different. Thats all true, but … we should all understand that we’re teenagers and according to science, we are in the age of development and risks. We think something is good when its bad, we feel someone is good when he’s not. It’s not like parents don’t understand, they care and love us and are worried for us. So, they take extra care of us. That doesn’t mean they are always wrong and bad. We might not get this at this age, but later we will understand that whatever they did was for our good. Yes, exceptions and accidents happen, i won’t deny that 2% parents worldwide can be an exception. We should all love our parents. No hate to anyone, I’m a free human give opinions, so here. Everybody might have a different perspective. ❤
Dear comments, it is true that we cry due to our pressure but even if our perents doesnt understand PLEASE dont say that the future will have better perants cause if our perants see that our sons and daughters are seeing this they might feel bad. I would rather die than make them feel bad cause of me
“Laughing at my phone doesn’t mean I’m bad” Ahh, not only have I never heard this one before in my life but I don’t think it’s about the “bad” or “laughing part” but more about spending too much time on this particular device that has almost enthralled the entire world. “Taking our phones away doesn’t affect us” Haha that’s a good one or are we meant to believe that you share these “enlightening” messages in person as much as on the phone? “Closing our doors doesn’t mean we’re hiding something.” Well, no but I don’t think that’s a usual first though for people, I think it just means you’re a bit socially inept and don’t have the best relationship with your parents on a communicative level but the fact that you think or that your parents think that closing your bedroom door means you’re hiding something suggests that you or they probably are. “Answering your questions isn’t talking back” Well, it depends on the context doesn’t it. I can’t believe you think it’s that broad or general that everytime a parent asks a question and you answer it, that means they think you’re “talking back.” If they do, then yes they are very bad, gaslighting parents but most of the time, it’s due to your lack of understanding the chain of command and who provides for you. A misguided sense of teenage rebellion which can only be born through the complanceny and apathy of a generation that has no purpose. Ultimately, it’s ingratitude. In summary, what I’ve seen here are a sad group of narcissistic teenagers/young adults who are desperately, feebly and pathetically attempting to justify the disproportionate amount of time they waste their lives on these phones and other devices.
I hate my life…my sister begs for robux every day and they buy her not me…I play dress to impress on Roblox and I asked my mum for 350 robux…she gave me a tight slap and said u only want love..and yes that’s true …I don’t get it why they hate me … they don’t understand my pain…how they beat me how they hit me …how they body shame me…I keep begging in Roblox for robux …they can take away the money from me but just give me…hate. Now I am locked up ….alone. It’s not about robux…but I also need love and care…
Actually be grateful that you have parents, their are alot of innocent souls who didn’t know what mom and dad is and spend their life in the valley of immense struggle… Struggle for everything for food, clean drinking water, clean cloths, education even sometimes sleep their nights with empty stomach …. You have problem with this little things that your parents do but you don’t realise that you are living life better than this people’s just because of your parents … Ya some times they are also wrong, they are also human being they also do mistakes but half of the time they do this for your betterment not theirs … So don’t complain just be grateful not towards god but towards your parents😒
So guys I am gonna tell you a quick story- So we were going to buy a gift for someone’s birthday, and I thought we were gonna go by scooty, but she took out the car. No problem but I was a little scared because it was her first time driving it. (She drove a car earlier too but it was a smaller one). She had no habit of driving the new car (not new it’s been 5 or 6 years since we bought it). So I kept telling her we don’t do this or that ( I can say I was being a little dramatic) but that didn’t mean that she will drag me to my friend’s house and talk shit about me? Just because I kept telling her this and that about driving. She bitched so bad about me that I was so embarrassed and ashamed about myself. Drop your opinions about this in the comments 👇 Was I overdramatic? 😢 Or was it my mom’s fault? 😢
This is real and very emotional💀❤️🩹🥀 So,some days ago a boy of 8th class died in our area and everyone was saying that his neck got tied with something while he was playing. But this was just myth. The truth will shock you,,, Yesterday when I was coming from school in my van,my uncle and my friend told me that he lived near there house and they started telling me the story :- (This is truth the playing was just a myth told by his parents) So,It was a day of school and his teacher told the class to complete their books. So,one of the girl’s book was incomplete so she asked for book to him then he gave her book (I think they were in love) then the girl was being lazy so she asked the boy to complete her book and in return, she will give him a cadbury. The teacher caught them talking and then called the boy’s parents. Then after reaching home, his parents beated him very badly that he got in depression and suicided by tighting his neck. The mistake was only of his parents and his fool teacher who called his parents only because a girl and a boy were talking. Hope he rests in peace 🥺😭🥲 I am very lucky that I have independent parents ❤❤❤
I hate when parents get angry when their child literally says no💀 even when they don’t respect your privacy, they just come in your room without knocking when changing. Thats what i hate. I hate when moms say “i can look, i saw everything when you were little”. If they keep doing that to their own child, then the child will not grow up independently😢 and i just hate when they say “who are you texting” and “you spend too much time on your phone” I swear theyre on their phone too. But they say “its different” i hate those parents. Even when they see their teenagers close the door, it doesn’t mean theyre doing drugs or hiding something. Parents MUST learn their child’s privacy. Whenever im chillin in my room with no shirt, my useless brother comes in and my mom. DUDE I HAVE NO SHIRT OnN CANT U SEE?! I literally cover myself with a blanket so they dont see me shirtless. I just want them to respect to not see me shirtless, thats invasion of privacy. Its rude. I wish parents would understand their children but they cant because they never experienced it before. The worst part is they want to take your phone away. They don’t understand that it effects us and when they compare you to others.
