Hey, Mina! Great vid! New York is the place I would point to as a peak American (which I am) city. Sure, it’s got the touristy stuff (e.g. Statue of Liberty), but it’s also a central hub of real American culture; diversity and ingenuity and tradition, unfolding in countless microcosms! That’s one of the few things I love about my country, and I’m glad you got a taste of it… despite one of the things I don’t love about my country, and that’s that everything costs almost twice what it should, because hedge fund managers and lobbyists said so. 🙁
Makes my heart feel so warm and fuzzy to see you love my city so much!! Crazy that I’ve lived in New York my entire life, and I haven’t heard of half of those places. I’ll have more to recommend for you next time you come back, and hopefully I’ll be able to catch you then! Wish I could have this time around.
Gosh everything looks so good… I keep toying with the idea to become vegan, I mean I don’t really drink milk anymore or consume too much cheese being lactose intolerant and I’ve learned so much about substituting and altering recipes to make them vegan that I don’t think it would be too much of a stretch to do anyway. I’m currently following so many vegan websites and its hilarious that when you mention becoming vegan to someone who is straight up carnivore they tell you wont be able to do it, you’ll miss meat too much and how good can vegan be, you’ll get bored so quickly.. I think after a article like this demonstrating all the hangouts in one city with good vegan food alone, how can you still think that.. I was honestly so hungry perusal some of these places foods.. Hope you enjoyed it!!!!!!
those vegan tahini chocolate chip cookies…. they’re from a bakery called good batch in brooklyn! i’ve been a nyc barista for many years and many coffee shops order those cookies if they don’t bake their pastries in house. so if ur in nyc and dont wanna stop by greenpoint, u can find those cookies in a bunch of different cafes! they’re absolutely delicious and i’m always snacking on them at work.
Acts 2:38-9 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off–for all whom the Lord our God will call.” 2 Peter 3-7 3Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” 5But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly. Revelation 12-16 12 And the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the East. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits that looked like frogs coming out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet. 14 These are demonic spirits that perform signs and go out to all the kings of the earth, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty. 15 “Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who remains awake and clothed, so that he will not go naked and let his shame be exposed.
