This guide explains how to use skill enhancement attachments (SEA’s) to customize clothing and armor in Star Wars Galaxies. It provides rules, tips, and tricks for applying SEA’s with the reward set from the Avenging Mort quest-line after hitting CL22. Clothing items can take clothes powerups, which look like a roll of tape. Skill outfits are not as important as outfits, but they should have sockets. To buff, you need Dance Mind Enhancement tapes to fit into them.
To maximize sockets, you should make someone with boots, gloves, a shirt, pants, and boots. Donning a costume is a two-step process using “Costume Instructions” and “Holoshrouds”. Most costumes are available from the Storyteller Vendor/Event Promoters at any time. To learn a costume, purchase the “Costume Instructions” which permanently grant you the ability to use that costume. Once purchased and redeemed, you “learn” the costume and the ability is added to your command browser.
The Clothing Boutique Tailoring Catalogue displays various clothing options, including belts, bodysuits, cloaks, dresses, eyewear, footwear, handwear, headwear, jackets, pants, robes, shirts, and skirts. The best spot to grind stat’d clothing is outside the cantina across from the shuttleport, next to a Clothing and Armor Public Crafting Station.
Tatooine: Bestine is located just outside the cantina across from the shuttleport, next to a Clothing and Armor Public Crafting Station. Tailor-made items for Wookiees include Crested Battle Padding, Decorative Waist Wrap, and Heavy Shoulder. This guide is currently a work in progress, with more outfits to add.
📹 How To Get A Crafting Suit – Star Wars Galaxies Legends (NGE Server Guide)
What are crafting suits in Star Wars Galaxies Legends and how do you put one together? This guide answers these questions.
📹 Tips for your UI, how to use the bazaar, etc. | SWG: Legends 2023
Watch in 4k (2160p) for best quality. Ui options, keeping inventory space, using the bazaar/vendor search, etc. Thanks for 1k+ …
Assembly increases the chance of getting a socket for weapons, clothing, and armor. To guarantee a socket you need 160+ assembly for that item type, which can be reached with PUPS. Other types of crafted items assembly is redundant for (despite the programmers creating mod bits for them), such as food and shipwright components. If you’re not reverse engineering bits on that trader you might as well triple down on useful mods. The only attachment I’d put assembly on is a Lightsaber crafting suit. One thing I’ve noticed on Legends is a TON of bad information, and redundant attachment and PUP crafting. It’s not their fault, a lot of the information has been lost since the end of the SOE servers, but it’s something to be aware of. You’re right about Luck, it’s good for REing bits, or foraging for Lyase or treasure maps, but not crafting.
I thought of more, read below: -In the article I say that the bazaar, all auctions this region, everything is sold at “just this bazaar” in this town. I meant to say that it shows up items being sold by all the bazaar terminals in just that town. So each bazaar in Eisley will show those items, the bazaar at Restuss, Rori will show items being sold there, etc. but to find a larger selection of items being sold by players at their own vendors like in their house, you’ll want to use vendor location, all, entire galaxy, then type in what you’re looking for. -Type /se to get the special edition goggles from live in your inventory, and you can radial them and recolor them and wear them as appearance tab items. -The first time you do it, it’s free. Type /flash to get a flash speeder deed in your inventory. Every time afterward, it’s like 20k credits. It’s faster than your beginner landspeeder. -The AT-RT from veteran rewards is in my opinion the best, fastest vehicle when newer to the game, that can be repaired at a garage for cheap if destroyed. Definitely claim it. -The gackle bat, mouse droid, mynock familiars from veteran rewards give you a buff when you pull it out from your datapad. Definitely claim those and see which buff goes best with your build later on. -If you like glowy eyes, the cheapest is orange, called Amber Fury. Usually easily found through vendor search at the bazaar. Wear them as an appearance tab item.
