What is the Mcdonalds rule in pregnancy?

Fundal height, also known as McDonald’s rule, is a uterus size measure used to evaluate fetal growth and development during pregnancy. It is measured from the top of the mother’s uterus to the top of the pubic symphysis. The measurement corresponds to gestational age in weeks between 16 and 36 weeks for a vertex fetus. If a tape measure is unavailable, finger widths are used to estimate centimeter distances from an anatomical landmark.

Recording the actual fundal height is standard practice starting around 20 weeks gestation. Caregivers typically record their patient’s fundal height on every prenatal visit, as it can indicate proper fetal growth and amniotic fluid development.

  • I went to a business convention in Richmond, Virginia in the early 90’s. All sorts of activity late Friday and Saturday nights. A bunch of us went to a service at a nearby church. I was exhausted. Barely any sleep both nights. I had a Bible in my lap and during the sermon sometime I fell asleep. My Bible slid off my lap and fell to the floor and put out a loud thud as it hit the floor. The sound woke me up and the first word out of my startled brain was “DAMN!”. I was so embarrassed I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I. Was. Embarrassed! By the way, only a few people looked at me and the pastor just kept on delivering the sermon. 🙂

  • Acts 2:17-21 New International Version 17 “‘In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams. 18 Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy. 19 I will show wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below, blood and fire and billows of smoke. 20 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. 21 And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’(a)

  • The Greatest Commandment 28 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” 29 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.(e) 30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’(f) 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’(g) There is no commandment greater than these.” 32 “Well said, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him. 33 To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.” 34 When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.

  • I highly doubt it was unprovoked. Chances are she smarted off big time to that lady and she went off on that girl. Teenagers are NOT the teenagers of old, they have become a lot more rude, filthy-mouthed, disrespectful, loud, demanding, etc. And they think they are entitled to everything for free. Not all, but MANY.

  • Hey LeBron! Is this the hunting that you were talking about? “I feel I’m being hunted erry dayu!” Hunting just like THIS? THIS very kind of hunting? “I feel I’m being hunted erry dayu!” And who is hunting YOU erry dayu? Do you still feel that you’re being hunted? Erry dayu? “I feel I’m being hunted erry dayu!”

  • Not all teenagers are the same and shame on you for insinuating that this was a grown woman who beat this 13-year-old girl gravely while McDonald’s employees and managers and bystanders stood there and watched it happen why did nobody call the police only one person stepped in and that was probably at the end of the beating and for the kids in her school to make fun of her and joke and laugh at it That’s b***** some of these comments are very offending not all teenagers provoke beatdowns and the mother she should be suing that woman and McDonald’s but people would rather sit there and articletape this s*** and should I help save someone My prayers and thoughts to this 13-year-old girl in her family May you get justice May the judge give her prison time and pray this girl and her family get justice.

  • Something like this actually just happened to me, a drunk teenage girl just started hitting and punching me and pulling my hair on the floor. I have bruisers on my face. I haven’t told the police or my parents or anything tho bcs I don’t want my parents to know but I’m bruised in my face and head and my thumb is swollen. I immediately started crying after and I just feel like traumatised from it I mean I’m 13 and she was 18 and drunk

  • yeah no it definitely was not unprovoked, someone crazier than you is going to put you in your place and then they have the audacity to act suprised! 13 is more than old enough to know how to act in public I highly doubt a grown ass women would just attack a teen like this for no reason. teens now are absolutely horrendous so i’m not even surprised.

  • Odds are there is probably more to the story than we are being told. I’m not 100% convinced it was entirely ‘unprovoked’. Who knows. Regardless… this little girl did not deserve to be beaten like this by an adult. I’m disgusted that people stood around and filmed this and did absolutely nothing to help the girl or stop the fight. Shameful!

  • Mcdonalds is the only victim here all that is bad for buiseness that lil girls drama followed her to the af6er school hangout the mom needs to appolagize to mcdonalds . If mcdonalds was getting robbed and she was eating there at the time and seen would she get involved NO so why should Mcdonalds get involved that happened in 10 to 20 seconds

  • This what happens when you think you grown running yal mouth being disrespectful to adults. This lil sh*t got put in her place because she disrespected the right one that day. I don’t blame her tho, her parents probably let her act this way. Parents get your Fkn kids teach them some damn manners or someone out there in the world will teach it to them..
