My objective when teaching kids: Make it FUN! English will eventually become a stuffy, but my goal is to get the kids to get excited and about English! Associate it as a positive Drawing skills comes in super handy! This is true especially for me. I’m sure dancing is also a great teaching skill. Always research games and tools and tips. This is a mental battle between you and the kids. They will quickly let you know when they’re bored. I’m struggling with discipline. One of my student is very high strung and quick to tears if she is not winning. I can’t just keep changing my lesson plans to fit her whims.

My own have been learning from birth, so it is difficult for me to imagine speaking English to a child who only knows English in terms of TV shows or songs like Baby Shark. Many parents have said “oh they can understand English they watch Peppa pig and laugh.” But I know if I watch with my daughter shows in English when I ask her what she understood she may just guess from what she sees.
