What Is The China Child Development Center Scale?

The Children’s Developmental Centre of China Scale (CDCC) is a tool used to measure the development of Chinese children aged 3-6 years based on their psychological features. It provides indicators of early childhood development for workers in pre-school education, healthcare, and pediatrics. As of early 2021, cabinet stock in Mainland China reached 3.6 million, with an expected increase to exceed 4 million by the end of the year.

The CCDC scale is a diagnostic tool for assessing the mental development of children aged 0-3 years, serving as an efficient tool for monitoring the FMS of preschool children in China. For over 25 years, the Chinese Community Center’s Child Development Center (CDC) provides an optimal learning environment for children aged 18 months to 5 years.

Research has shown that the current national growth and development standard of preschool children in China has many deficiencies. CDC fees are established by the Department of Education (DoD) and are structured on a sliding scale based on total family income.
