We love Fluffy! When my dad passed away, I was in a bad place. Driving home to Tennessee from Texas after the funeral was hard, and I have never cried so much. I didn’t think I would ever feel joy or be able to laugh ever again. My wife turned on Netflix and put on one of Fluffy’s specials. For a brief moment, the pain went away and I found myself laughing. Thank you Gabriel, for your comedy and for how you’ve done it all these years. God bless you and I hope you continue to have much success.
Here’s to the Denzel Washington of comedy! Meaning that he just goes out there and does what he does best… entertain! Just like Denzel, his political views are none of your damn business! Go watch his comedy and enjoy. Here’s to you, Fluffy. From being a cast member on the last iteration of ALL THAT to THE BROTHERS GARCIA, your 25+ years in Showbiz are a testament to your talent. Thank you, sir!

Great to see this interview! I’m one of the few people that had never heard of Gabriel Iglesias / Fluffy before a few weeks ago and I clicked on one YouTube segment, and then another and then another. When I saw this this morning, just the anticipation of getting to see an interview with him brought a smile to my face. I suppose all comedy has its place but I’m one of those that just likes the clean Joy Of Life.. no anger, no division etc. Mr Iglesias brings the joy of laughter and we all need that at this time!

fyi he was on the now defunct tanked series with atm out of las vegas with the king and remener family. the atm folks made a vw fish tank. i have to chuckle with that tank (ed works) and the angel called gabriel. and when i think of gabriela i think of a now young lady nicknamed belle. she was an amazing very young lady who pulled the strings tied to my mind heart and soul. she was in the 2nd grade class of christian education that my perpetually half hour late for church functions including our wedding day life-partner jane francis beebe-waterschoot that we tagged teamed. i think i took the leadership role of taking the guidebook for second grades and my second grade thinking and presenting something that i thought would be appropriate for second graders. it has been noted that if you can explain something to a second grader you have a reasonable understanding of the concept. on one sunday morning i had my mini excavator on the trailer and the kids caught eye of it and the asked if they could sit in it. i had to say no because it was not safe to play on. and i must have saw some disappointment. i told them check in with their parents at coffee hour and i would take my big boy toy off the trailer onto a safe spot and they could sit in the driver’s seat and pretend to operate the levers. i told them sure and upped the fun. i let them drive and sat on the hydraulic oil tank on the side. little did they know i sat above the key and shut off switch i was the the adult in charge of safety who acts like a second grader.
I can’t forget how he does a “bit” on how he spent an afternoon with Snoop Dog. I also can’t forget how Snoop Dog exploited and used young women who were terribly intoxicated – to make money using their most embarrassing and vulnerable moments. What I can’t understand is why SD is still around and some people – like “Fluffy” continue to respect and honor him. I refuse to watch “Fluffy” until he publicly apologizes for bringing his relationship with Snoop Dog into his otherwise amazing act(s).
The Dodger Stadium concert on Netflix was a letdown; more of a coda on his career. With the longtime girlfriend gone, diabetes plus other health issues, and the wealth he has accumulated, he may be taking the time to re-invent himself or find a different purpose in life. Love the VW collection. Take note VW, Gabriel Iglesias as spokesperson will sell more of the new iD vans than any other commercial.
Moved my baby Brother and his girlfriend into my place when he fell on hard times back in 2017 and that were perusal Fluffy do stand up. They were laughing so hard that I came down stairs to join them and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house we were laughing so hard!… They moved out in 2018 but left with a ton of good times and memories!… 💯💯💯
He jokes about vegans, but in reality, a whole food, plant-based lifestyle will reverse his type-2 diabetes (and lower blood pressure, reverse heart disease, prevent certain cancers, reverse erectile dysfunction). But it’s hard to give up food addictions at first, for sure. Tastebuds can change as well as cravings. 💚🌱
In Massachusetts growing up we had something called Marshmallow Fluff and we made “Fluffernutters” which is that and peanut butter in a sandwich. I got fat from that as a preteen and my Mom called ME Fluffy because of that. That was over 50 years ago. I also have Type II Diabetes. But I’ve gotten my weight down to a range my doctor is happy with.

So not only was it great to see your articles again, it was great seeing Voltron too, so thank you, thank you, thank you. I know I’m such a geek.
