Ways To Color Clothing Swtor?

To dye armor in SWTOR, use the CTRL+Right-click on the armor piece you want to dye. This will open the Item Modification panel and your inventory. You can then right-click on the dye in your inventory, and it will be added to your armor in the Item Modification panel. There are three types of dye modules: primary, secondary, and primary-secondary. You can only use one dye module per piece of armor, so you cannot use both a primary and a secondary dye module.

SWTOR has a feature called Unify Colors that allows you to match the rest of your pieces to your chestpiece. You can add a dye to the actual clothing/armour piece before placing it into an outfit slot or dye the item within the slot. This can save you time and effort.

Enhanced dyes in SWTOR are unique and have limited availability. To use a shiny dye that matches or complements undyable bits, use a shiny dye that matches or complements the undyable bits. There are two ways to dye parts of your outfit: adding a dye into the actual clothing/armour piece before placing it into an outfit slot or dyeing the item within the slot.

To dye an individual piece, open the modification window for that piece of armor (ctrl+right click). Some dyes are just primary or just secondary. If you put a dye in a chestpiece and then unify colors, the whole outfit will be unified to that dye.

In summary, dyes in SWTOR are single-use and range from pretty to shiny. To use a dye, first open the outfit tab and Ctrl+Right-click on the desired slot. Then, place the dye module into the designated slot, and the entire outfit will be unified to that dye.

  • Hi there, thanks for making this article. Because dyes from the cartel market are pricey and one-time use, can I apply a dye to a chest piece purchased from the cartel market, then unlock that armour for my other legacy characters and have the applied dye? Or would the armour unlock for my characters with the original colours? Also, if this is possible, would I be applying the dye to the gear or stamping it? Also, could I revert the armour to its non-dyed colours if desired?
