CNN’s Pamela Brown is back at the network after maternity leave, feeling grateful for the company’s support for working moms with substantial paid leave and added postpartum support benefits. Brown is pregnant with her husband, Adam Wright, and is expecting a baby in 2023. In September 2023, rumors began circulating that Jim Acosta, who has anchored a weekend show, will anchor CNN Newsroom at 10 a.m. ET and Pamela Brown will anchor an 11 a.m. ET hour starting in the spring. Wolf Blitzer will anchor the 11am hour in the interim while Pam is on maternity leave. Both shows will be produced out of Atlanta.
Pamela Brown is currently on maternity leave, and Wolf Blitzer will host the hour until she returns. The new programming slate is expected to debut later this week.
