Great article!!! HK is also my hometown where I left 30+ years ago… in my most recent trip back with my kids, we enjoyed so much interesting food but the fun ends there!!! I just got a sense that most locals are really down and out and totally not into socializing/smiling…. it’s just really weird vibes… and then some staff working in restaurants/ferry terminals were flat out assholes with their tone/attitudes…. oh well, glad I’m not living there!! ^^
