How To Switch Up Your Look In The Mobile Game Kingdom Hearts?

Mickey Mouse character Goofy has undergone significant design changes, including a short vest, sweater, and pants in various versions. In the cooking tutorial, Goofy’s shirt is green and his vest is yellow. Players can equip up to 5 cards of a specific combination of colors, allowing them to hold up to 30 cards in their deck.

In Kingdom Hearts 3, players can change armor and accessories by pressing Option/Menu. Goofy wears a metal hat with a curved blade on top, which is available in the outfits tab. Formchange is a gameplay mechanic introduced in Kingdom Hearts III, transforming Sora’s clothes into the color scheme of his attire from Kingdom Hearts II. This allows him to harness abilities from his past.

Sora, Donald, and Goofy change appearances in some worlds due to Donald’s magic to maintain world order. Pete changed form in Pride. In other RPGs, outfits determine the type of STR and DEF you get. Players can keep changing their outfits (shirts, pants, etc.).

In the Realm of Light, Goofy appears as if they are wearing their KH2 clothes. This may be due to Nomura’s more timeless approach, both literally and figuratively. In Yakuza: Like a Dragon, players can change the outfits of Ichiban and his party members.

  • Here’s my take on this: KH1: Unskippable Cutscenes and a drunk as hell camera wer enough to make you tear your hair out. KH1FM: Well, they fixed one of them. COM: You think that KH should only even be a hack and slash. KH2: You are either a contrarian, or the rabbid KH2 simps got off their leashes again, chasing you away from the series. Y’know, THOSE ones. BBS: The controls were too slow and floaty for you. Days: You got sick of the repetitiveness of the mission system. Re:Coded: You like KH for the story. 3D: You hate the pet simulator, or/and you play KH for the story. Union X: It’s a Gacha game with money grubbing power creep. Bonus points of you were there from the start, and you saw this game slowly devolve into madness. Dark Road: (I actually have no idea for this one.) KH3: “KH3 Is Disappointing.” MoM: You fell ripped off becuase of Kairi’s lack of… anything, and also they used the midi verisons of the songs and not the HD remix verisons.

  • The problem I had with KH3 was the lazy writing. We went on an adventure to save everyone, only for us to derp around in a few worlds before saving EVERYBODY in the last quarter (that’s being generous) of the narrative. Not to mention they didn’t tell Aqua, who went to go wake Ven, that Sora had his heart! Or that they did the Roxas/Sora dynamic dirty by them not talking at all when Roxas finally got his body (I get it they were busy, but still). The maze thing just feels like a cheap plot device, and I hate it.

  • See, I only played the Nintendo console games growing up, so my first playthrough of DDD felt M A G I C A L compared to its DS predecessors. DDD and BBS really don’t focus on Keyblade combos much so if you’re used to the main games it feels off, but if you’re starting with them, command style is pretty enjoyable as a special move hack-n-slash.

  • Chain of Memories isn’t bad, it’s just that in my opinion the whole card gameplay thing conflicts with the fast-paced nature of the KH series. If they really did want to slow things down though, it could’ve used a “pause” mechanic similar to Baldur’s Gate, Dragon Age, FF7R, etc. and the ability to assign sleights (or any card combination really) to shortcuts the same way you can do with spells and items in other KH games.

  • KH3 being ‘FUN’ doesn’t mean it can’t be disliked. For me it was more flashy than fun. Yes I had fun but it felt cheap. All the flash but nothing to use it on until DLC. By that time I’m over it, and the dlc was horribly implemented into the story by the way. I can see why you put it on par with KH2, because there are mechanics that are great in KH3. All those mechanics were wasted though, there was no real threat… unless you paid for DLC.

  • For me personally, my least favorite moments of the series are: KH1: Nothing… COM/Re:COM: Card mechanics are not fun during combats/boss fights KH2: I hate Ansem The Wise (I wish they either changed his name or cut his character entirely), hands down the worst character of all time, the Disney Bosses are just forgettable, and it’s got the worst iteration of Atlantica Days: Just stealth missions BBS: Controls are too slow Coded/Re:Coded: Everything surrounding it, and it’s existence DDD: Worst repetitive Boss fights, and how they ruined mah boi Chernabog, aka the best Disney Villains of all time X/Back Cover/Unchained/Union Cross: Taking away the gameplay, yet RPG style is kinda bleh… Dark Road: Unbearable Gameplay and lack of explorations AFP: Too short KH3+Re:Mind: Lack of playing other characters, lack of other stuff involving Data Greetings (many fans want more) MoM: Lack of Kairi and no HD Remix tracks, and needed more trios (Team Dream sucks btw)

  • Bio I gotchu: KH1: You want complex tasks to be spelled out to you or thought Disney and Final Fantasy was cringe. KHCOM: You hate being to told your wait your turn before you speak and even you have waited you still have to hope no one interrupts you again because it happens often. Or you can’t stand wild west showdowns. KH2: You don’t like being tested on learning and applying knowledge and skills learned in practice. KH358: You hate doing someone’s crappy job and walking around for no reason. KHBBS: You hate 3 person stories with slightly different stipulations, moving like molasses, and cameras that are too close. KHCoded: You hate filler and recap episodes. KHDDD: You can’t stand slow gameplay and monster catchers. KH0.2: Moving like molasses sucks/ KHChi/Dark Road: Not on consoles. KH3: Your expectations were way to high for a game development cycle this chaotic or you don’t like doing your homework before tests. KHMoM: DDR wore you out and you thought you’d get more here or you hate rehashings.

  • Come now, I disliked KH3 because it had a hand-waved reason for Sora being weak to the point even Pete made fun of him and 3/4ths of the game added nothing in the way of story with the Disney worlds having almost no connection to any major plot arc and the Final Fantasy characters were just completely absent as was most new world building. (Seriously, up until you rescue Aqua, the plot can be summed up as “Mickey and Riku find Aqua and are defeated, having to retreat; Sora, Donald, and Goofy go to random worlds and…do stuff?” up until you rescue Aqua, which is where the actual story starts. And before you say “SDG going to random worlds and doing stuff is par for the course”, in KH2 they were constantly clashing with Organization 13 members and then returned to Radiant Garden, where you learned what its original name was, and during all this time you’re getting some world and plot building; KH1 also had a similar thing, just replace Org13 with Disney Villains and you got a LOT more world/universe building. In KH3, the only thing significant that happened was Woody telling Xehanort he never had any friends…which then just made me sad after Union Cross’ ending where we thought he was Player’s reincarnation, then after Dark Road made me sad because Xehanort DID have and care for friends; and that’s literally the only significant story beat that happens in SDG’s travels in KH3 prior to rescuing Aqua!) …until the last 1/4th of the game or so, when we actually got story. Not to mention Roxas’ return was absolutely worth.

  • KH3 us my keast favorite since the story was kinda shit. I mean the story has been kind of shit for awhile like after 358 because they over complicated it and stuff and made it into games no one wanted to play. I’ve only played the 3 main ones and then 358. Birth By Sleep I hear is cool but the story for KH is just so all over the place it’s ridiculous. I play for Disney not Xehanort.

  • Thank god someone praising KH3, really my favourite entry in the series. So many new things, yea it may be easy but calling it an experience rather than a game is a much smarter definition. My least favourite id unfortunatrly Re:Chain of Memories. No matter how much I try, ALTHOUGH I am a hard Yu-Gi-Oh! fan and kept playing it for like 15 years now, I can’t seem to like Re:CoM.

  • KH1: I agree. Even if it hasn’t aged that well in terms of some things, I think there are still some aspects that keep it from last place CoM: You don’t like the cards KH2: I agree, you hate fun BBS: Floaty combat, and the story structure can’t help but get repetitive after a while Days: You hate crappy stealth sections, the mission system and that while it is impressive they managed to make a KH game on the DS, it really does control much better with a control stick instead of a D-pad Re:Coded: You hate retreads of older games, or are here for KH’s story DDD: You hate that bosses almost never stagger, and you hate Pokemon Union Cross/X: You hate phone game gachas Dark Road: You hate Xehanort 0.2: Okay, I legit hate this one so moving on lmao KH3: You expected more from this game because…..and you hate fun MoM: You hate rhythm games, and also hate retreads of older games……also #GiveKairiJustice

  • Eh. To be honest I USED to (I SAID “USED TO” I LOVE IT NOW-) not like the first game, because I played the games in chronological order starting with “Birth By Sleep” (instantly my favorite), and once I got to “Kingdom Hearts”, I just was not used to the older controls compared to “Birth By Sleep”, and Sora annoyed me at first.

  • KH1: You probably love KH2 and think that it improves on everything KH1 did making KH1 “garbage” in your mind CoM/Re:CoM: you hate the card gimmick/ don’t understand it/ think the game should’ve been turn based 358/2: Hate Xion or think the game is too repetitive to warrant what little new story it has to offer. KH2: you’re either mad at how much praise this game takes away from your favorite KH or you feel like you’re the only who recognizes the genuine faults the game has. BBS: you either felt it was an unnecessary prequel or you don’t like the hybridized gameplay of CoM and OG KH coded/re: coded: you just want to dunk on the worst KH for no real reason 3D: you couldn’t follow the story or you didn’t understand the spirits Mechanics. that or you couldn’t get behind it essentially being a rework of BBS. the mobile games: you think they’re gacha games but you haven’t really played them. that or you hate that critical plot details are locked behind a mobile game. KH3: you felt it strayed too far from what made KH good, you think the gameplay is a severe downgrade from KH2 (it’s not lol), you think the Disney worlds are pointless (they’re not KH2 arguably has more pointless Disney worlds tbh), or you wanna be on the KH3 hate bandwagon. MoM: you suck at rhythm games.

  • I’m glad 3 wasn’t something like… you’re the loud part of the fandom or something. It’s a really fun game and I’m convinced the haters just really don’t like that also my least favorite game is probably com??? No idea why, I love the story, but it’s just kind of “eh” to me? Same with recoded actually… and yes my parents never let me play games. Sucked. Atleast I’m an adult now so I CAN DO WHAT I WANT

  • I don’t hate fun. I hate lazy developers turning what should have been an epic ending to a saga into multimen combats where half the time you have no idea what the hell is happening around you. Was it that hard to do justice to everything that was built up? I mean: Terra’s armor vs young terranort, Ventus vs Vanitas, Ansem vs Riku, Roxas vs Xemnas, Mickey vs Old Xehanort, etc. Instead we got a fucking mess.

  • I never played Re:Coded or 0.2 but I would say that my least favorite is BBS for the same reason mentioned in this article but also something I didn’t like that was largely present in Days and 3D, and that’s the abundance of bosses and enemies that cannot or are very difficult to stagger when attacking them. Due to this, you only have a tiny window to throw in 2 hits that deal no damage before you have to dodge roll away to avoid a TOD or a series of OHKO attacks for an unnecessary amount of time. In the case of BBS, after doing it once with Terra, I didn’t feel like I wanted to do it with Ven or Aqua. Days at least is segmented into missions which triggers my “I like checklists in games” feeling. I’d find myself replaying difficult missions to see how fast I could do them (or with different characters). 3D’s better movement, wider areas, and team building stuff with raising the Dream Eaters largely overshadows the more bullshit bosses that fall into the BBS category of bosses.

  • 1. BBS is my favourite KH game, so… I can‘t understand why you don‘t like it. You doesn’t play the same story 3 times… sure, some parts are the same, but most of it is different for the 3 characters. 2. Re:Coded is my least favourite I guess… and yes, I hate math. 😅 3. I can really understand why people don‘t like KH3. It was „okay” for me, but I can see many weaknesses in it.

  • Kingdom hearts 3: You hate Disappointing Story, Ending, snd Zero Payoff to the 7 Princesses of lights and mysterious box. And hate it when a Story build up future games instead of Wrapping a Long Arc in a Satisfying way or Already Introducing a New Villain right before an Old One is Defeated. ..Sorry dude your Kingdom hearts 3 answer wasn’t good enough.

  • Smol brain: hating certain titles for any number of shortcomings Galaxy brain: disliking the entire series post KH1 cus they dropped the ball on any and all efforts to include and improve platforming and puzzles not to mention stop and gravity are pog Also need I mention that you cannot embrace monke in any other kh game? 🦧

  • To this day people still say I’m not allowed to like kh3 and that kh2fm is a flawless game with no cringy cutscenes or exploits in battles and irs getting me really to the point of just dropping this series. I’ve been a huge fan of kh since I was 8. I’m 20 now, I loved kh3. Only kh game I didn’t like was days because It wasn’t fun. Kh3 was fun. But everyone (including bloodybizkiz) craps on it 24/7 and constantly says it’s objectively bad.

  • No I hate Days because the story is fuckin pointless and Xion is a shitty character who fucked up what COULD have been a decent origin story for Roxas. Days actually made me look critically at the rest of the series and now I don’t like any of the games anymore lol I only like 2 for the gameplay/boss battles and even then I probably won’t replay anytime soon.

  • It’s not my least favorite game but can I just say the fact they ended “x” and decided “well time to shut down the servers” a month or a few weeks after they finished the story kind of annoys the living crap out of me like I don’t se show that was smart because it’s not like square is hurting for money to keep a server game running I mean they literally did it twice with the same game none the less! ( referring to kingdom hearts I don’t even want to think about the amount of online final fantasy games )

  • Kingdom hearts 1 is one of my least favorite because I’m not fond of Sora’s heavy hit combat, the world’s formats make me nauseous and we see Riku making dumb choices as he sides with the villains instead of trusting his best friend 🙃 also Monstro exists in it and I hate that world to the very core. But gotta say CoM tops off as my least favorite game, disgusting combat especially on ps4. Honestly it deserves only to be watched since story is good, not played.

  • MoM really bad, no new songs, stupid story rewind (for I think the 3rd time ?) reuse of musics. Reuse of world assets. Adds literally nothing to the story, and please don’t even try to argue on this one. Those story bits should’ve been in re:mind. For me mom is really the most evil kh game that was made. Really not happy with it.

  • Taking some of the comments into account, here’s my take simply because I love over-analyzing this stuff. If you hate this particular KH above the others: KH1: You don’t like 3D platformers, and no amount of “Disney charm” is going to change the little environmental puzzles being way too vague for your tastes. Thank god the later games are mostly combat/thank god the Disney stuff becomes less important later. CoM: You dislike this amount of complexity in what should be a simple game with simple controls. You just cannot get the hang of this card stuff, and the story may be getting too philosophical to really be worth the hassle. Besides, you’ve seen these worlds before and they weren’t literally pale imitations that time. KH2: You just don’t really like Kingdom Hearts as a series. Sorry dude, I was here for some laughs but I can’t take this hot topic Winnie the Pooh shit seriously, and the story is getting really weird and convoluted. Most likely did not play the games beyond this one. Days: You hate games with slow pacing. The story does not make up for that, and even if it has some interesting stuff here and there, the gameplay gets too experimental to put up with the sheer time it takes for actual action to happen. Re:Coded: You can handle a lot of flaws in KH games for the sake of story, but this one genuinely just has nothing relevant to say. Skip. BBS: You enjoyed KH for its characters, but this game is mostly about lore you don’t care too much for, with a new group that has very little chemistry compared to Sora and friends.

  • I haven’t tried MoM, Chi or Coded, so imma leave those out. I think 358/2 days is my least favorite. CoM would be the worst but Riku saves it by being the fun of the game. Anything but your limit does chip damage. Legit put the game away cus this one boss wasn’t taking any damage and kept dying half an hur into that fight. Not much fun in trying to fit blocks in one panel that makes up your entire setup either. BBS is second worst. 3 is disappointing yes but redeems itself by having abilities on equipment other than just the keyblade for one. If KH2 isn’t your favorite that’s Kappa.

  • Not a fan of the mobile games. They’re easily my least liked games. As far as Chain of Memories goes, shouldn’t both Chain of Memories and Re:Chain of Memories both be on here? I think they play differently enough to warrant it. Like “You don’t like card games” and “You don’t like card games, but in the 3rd dimension.”

  • I felt like all of them was valid except for DDD. It was a half baked reached opinion. I don’t know, I was just expecting more to resonate with me to this game since it is my least favorite. Maybe something like “you hate being on a time limit or not to have true independent freedom to play game how you want even at the end game” or “you hate how this really another Riku game that proceed to glaze him up” or maybe something about how magic in the game feel eh beside balloon. The Dreameaters was valid asf tho

  • Chain of memories: I love card games use to play yugioh and Pokémon card games and I collected marvel cards still have over 500 use to play yugioh card games since the GameCube I watched tv a lot in fact perusal the shows I watched is what got me into card games. CoM was just bad Re:Coded: I got A’s in math and it was my favorite subject. That game was just useless unneeded and unnecessary. All it did was give you extra information that you could have in a couple of books, put into the next game, could have put in kingdom hearts 2 or since technically 358/2 was technically dealing with that base with making sora dream and everything just explain what lost memories can do in one’s head when trying to piece them together. Then after that once the next game comes out sora just informs us what happened since the game in self likes long and drawn out explainations

  • Acceptable least favorite kingdom hearts games: Chain of memories, Union X, Melody of memories. Reasons bellow. Every other KH game is at least passable in some way except these 3. The deck mechanic in Chain was awful, you either break the game with one card combo or spend the entire game fighting more and more damage spongy enemies while you are unable to increase your damage. No variety in the rooms and battles and if you get high cards you can literally make it so the enemies never even get to attack you. The riku story is passable but you have to get through the sora story to get to it. Union X was too damn long and the gameplay was not varied enough for it to have literally over 1000 story missions! The gacha was not the biggest problem with this game. Melody of Memories was just bad, it’s a full price cash grab that is an ok concept but ends up just not being fun.

  • I didn’t like Chain of Memories.. but it was because my family DID play card games but they took it so seriously that they took every opportunity to trash me at the game, like during Thanksgiving dinner. My aunt would watch me struggle in despair as I tried to get the best card combo in Golf to win but I never could. Just let me win once Aunt Donna I can’t take it anymore LOL

  • KH 3 is the worst part of all from THE DARK TRILOGY. Simply the best world of the franchise – Twilight Town was restricted to four areas merged into one. Too crowded ( i mean ppl sit even on roofs with no entrance…) Humor got punned. Seriously the only funny part was when they said Aqua is like Sora. Characters are braindead sometimes. Like in san fransokyo gogo got launched and she couldnt fight anymore,,So lets just leave her there while the danger is nearby” 🙂 The attraction thingys I hate with my whole heart. It looks like they add more content to the fight but in reality they replace it with something lazy and restraining. Some Keyblade transformations are made just because, without a purpose or idea. World stories used to be only a shadow of what we know from movies. Here they are either continuation or whole new adaptation with Sora and the gang getting involved. It looks so bad. Not to mention noone cares about Sora in here for some reason. Everyone beat him up about how he failed in DDD and interrupt him, or push him around. There was this one scene in Yen Sid’s tower when they were taking with Mickey about bullshit and Sora wanted to say something important. They just pushed him away. The only thing missing there was,,fuck off nerd” said by Goofy. But Hey! I’ve Heard they made this game in a way so ppl get interested in previous parts and more kids get to play their game. Because even tho it shows characters made for children, the game itself has dark and adult concept.

  • Chain of Memories IS my least favorite, but if we’re just going by main games (1-3) then 2 is my least favorite. Which is funny because I like 3 and that was the same reason for not liking it. What I don’t like is slow leveling systems with the drive forms and that’s what you get with KH2. PLUS when it comes to trying to level up, the game produces less enemies as you start to attain some of the more powerful forms, so at that point it’s not fun anymore….therefore I don’t hate fun 🙂

  • My takes on this one: KH: You are a kid from the 2000s that has no patience for a camera work that was made when you were a toddler/baby/divided between egg and seed. KHCOM (and RE:COM): You hate the card system with a burning passion. KHRE:COM but not COM: You do like COM, but hate how the 3D completely changes how the combat system works in a fundamental level. KHII: You must be either a contrarian or, in absence of a soul that thrives on people wanting you to die horribly, a person who spends not much time in online communities of KH. KHBBS: You seriously hate the upgrade system and wish they just stuck to KH2’s system. KHRE:CODED or KH358/2 Days: You hate character development that impacts in the overall story in a really subtle way because you really hate bothering to learn small stuff that will later roll into greater stuff. KH3D: You hate twists that retrocontinue established lore because you hate looking back at stuff with the benefit of hindsight (Seriously, KH2 and Days get SO MUCH BETTER with 3D’s twist in mind). You also do not have ADHD and thus cannot comprehend the time travel plotline nor rules. KHX/UX: You hate mobile games in general or you just hate Gacha games. In the latter case, you would have possibly enjoyed the game if it had a non-Gacha system. KH III: You were one of the very few people who didn’t know that it wasn’t the end to the franchise and thus despise Subject X, Yozora and Quadratum, or you’re a person who dislikes atonement as a concept.

  • I hated CoM because I didn’t come to this Final Fantasy meets Disney Action Adventure RPG to play a God Damn Card Game Jesus CHRIST there was already enough SHUFFLING IN THIS DAMN SERIES 😤😑 For real, tho, we didn’t need an entire game built around the concept of Sora getting nerfed back to lvl 1 in the sequel, and it DEFINITELY didn’t need to be half a card game at the same time Union Cross is a close second for a very similar reason

  • To this day I still hate Re:Chain Of Memories and Re:Coded now don’t get me wrong memories had a good story and gameplay I just hated using those cards to battle and yes I’ve never played Pokémon or Yu Gi Oh and recoded was just a clone of KH1 and Memories I know the story takes place after KH2 but they could’ve at least given Sora a different look or given us different worlds and they even copied Roxas’s Boss from KH2 compared to memories and coded I hated coded more

  • Before KH3 came out I went on a binge of the entire series. I’d played every game already and wanted to have it fresh in my mind. So I played them all, even Chain of Memories which has a terrible combat system because the story is so good. The exception was Re:Coded because nothing in that game’s story contributed to the larger narrative. I just downright hate the mobile games so I guess that one. A crappy battle system with a story that drags on FOREVER and that they’ve shut down anyway. I won’t even touch those until the inevitable remake that turns those games into traditional Kingdom Hearts games.

  • Melody of memory is my least favorite. First off, there have been so many redesigns for the characters, yet they limit you to specific point in time, secondly, I get it’s a rhythm game, but they could have left major story points out of a title nobody will play. I arguably loved union x and dark road more than melody. Melody should have been the mobile title with how basic it is. I can’t wait for the next KH mobile game since it’s 3d, and you can swap between ar walking around like pokemon, or joystick controls with some kinda energy system to keep you from moving like that all the time.

  • I’ve replayed kh1 recently and omg The mechanics are clunky, and the camera is always in the worst possible place. You focused on an enemy? Great, now you’re not gonna see the other enemies attacking you. The jump around platforms in the first 4 worlds is a terrible experience. Yes, the game was a masterpiece for its time and is still very fun.

  • i say that kh 3 i my least favourite because the only two kh games i played are kh fm and kh 3, today i platinum Final Mix so now i gotta play chain of memory Btw kh 3 is a great game, i said that is my least favourite kh game because i am more close to Fm if i said something wrong, is normal i am not from america or uk

  • While I won’t say it’s my least… Kh3 is not comparable to kh2. Sora feels floaty, his base attacks feel unusually stiff,, combo finishers don’t feel satisfying, Twilight Town was only 25% uploaded, Frozen World has like one iconic location while 50% is mountain and 40% ice cave filler, Sanfransokyo doesn’t want you leaving the city or go to a bridge you visit once, this is a great spot to get ingredients amirite, Toy Story felt good till you left Andy’s neighborhood… you never actually wanted to go to Destiny Islands, Radiant Garden, Traverse Town, or Mysterious Tower in this pretty engine right? Look… I’ve played the game thrice… I would argue it being “you don’t like fun” is not the reason because it’s kinda a disappointment for the finale to an over decade old saga… or really a big disappointment… PS: I know this was all for fun, but still I don’t want them being treated equal.

  • I hated chain of memories, but not because the card mechanic, just because the game itself played too much like a watered down KH1, and the card mechanics, though interesting, didn’t do enough to change that. I gave up after about 6 hours. maybe some of the bosses would have been better, I did like the early axel and hades boss fights. but even if the bosses are better, that doesn’t really save 90% of the game (basic enemy encounters) from being boring as hell. also, sometimes being forced to grind just to enter the next room because the game didn’t give you the card you needed is also a big reason why I gave up on the game.

  • Kh3 is easily the worst game out of 1 2 or 3 for 1 reason or perhaps 2 reasons. First being the stupid Disney attraction rides being unable to be turned off for battles meaning your forced to one-shot a boss you went through an entire level to meat with some dumb damage animation and terrible mini games. Secondly it won’t hit you until you reach the end of the game but the game has next to no repayable content. Thanks to no ladder fights with bonus bosses which in previous games were final fantasy characters. Which I guess give you a third reason all together. No final fantasy characters are in KH3 you will go through every level hoping to team up with someone more powerful more experienced and they hand you nomura originals instead of FF characters.

  • Yeah. Like m.o.m really was a waste . A game meant for kairi, not only does not allow you to fucking play as her even once. But withey make her seem so weak. Oh and the phantom of sora ke spirit of him, fucking curses through her and she becomes sora for a bit. The only good thing out of this game is that not only is riku finding a way to sora But kairi is says ” tuck this, I’m gonna train under aqua” And I hope to fucjing God kairi doesn’t get shafted by aqua in terms of training

  • Oof, KH3 isn’t a funny game, I can fart on the controller and win anyway. Also, why we have challenges only AFTER the end of the fuc*ing game and only if you buy the dlc? It actually doesn’t make sense. Same for kh2 vanilla, the gameplay on the final mix is really good and balaced, but the vanilla, oh god, a articlegame for newborn

  • im gonna have to say kh2 i love it but i simultaneously have to label it as my most hated because dumbass 7-year-old me was a dumbass and didnt know you could hotkey spells, and did a pro-staff anti-sword run without using magic cause fuck having to go to a whole different menu hell, i didnt even use items.

  • Better kh3 You don’t like waiting nearly a decade for a game to finally be confirmed then half a decade worth of self leaks in the form of “trailers” that gave away 80% of the game, don’t like rushed story lines, red herrings, going up the same mountain 3 times, difficulty thats either a fucking joke or hard as balls, a story that makes no sense with or without context and a final boss who dies to a blue koala dog thing in 30 seconds.

  • Chain of Memories i’ve played Yu-Gi-Oh, and played games all the time when i was a kid. didn’t watch MUCH TV tho… DDD is my next pick, and i’ve never been able to get into pokemon, wouldn’t say i hate it but i really don’t see what everyone else gets out of the series. maybe that was why all along…nah it was definitely the hitting an enemy too many times part especially if you’re underlevelled goddamn there’s a reason stats don’t matter much in these games oh right chi exists lmao, same thing for gacha tbh i also like days but hate the idea of everything coming to an end but i love it as a theme in stories

  • KH3 took YEARS longer than it was supposed to… and the overall product was JUST shinier… not better. It should have been made for the Ps3… FACTS! They didn’t need to do half the shit that they did POORLY Buuut BbS is worse… And hey, I like Melody of Memory. Rhythm Game + Kingdom Hearts, I’m down for it :V

  • I hated Kingdom hearts three not because I hate fun but because there were just a lack of fun worlds. There is only really 3 areas That I enjoyed “100 Acre Wood”, “Monster’s Inc.” and “The Caribbean”. I was OK with the toy box but I would’ve preferred if it was in Andy’s imagination not just a “toy store”. And forcing me to go through frozen three fucking times was just irritating and infuriating. Tangled’s world was the only “Princess world” that I could tolerate. My greatest hope for the series is that in its next sequel they make several Final Fantasy worlds accessible. I’m thinking Final Fantasy X and X-2, Final Fantasy 7 (properly), and maybe Final Fantasy 13 and all of its sequels.

  • Honestly, I actually may think KH1 IS my least favourite game (since I don’t really count X or DR), not saying it is bad or anything just that pretty much every game has improved on everything it presented, which I think is the ideal way a series should progress, so it is a good thing ….Also, jungle platforming sucks

  • Yeah I do hate gatcha games. But the story was actually really cool how it was both a remake and sequel is so meta in the best way. God why can’t I hate any of these of games! Stupid happy upbeat games even when you’re the most depressing you make me love you! Please remaster Days Roxas and Xion don’t get enough love! THEY JUST WANT TO BE LOVED!!!!! 😭😭😭

  • “you hate fun” after playing master mode kh2 and getting anti-form on the most crucial boss fights when I could really use the actual good movests of valor or master and had to stay with base (and dying to Roxas multiple times but turns out somehow I am underleveled, yeah not Imma stay on kh and kh3 tyvm

  • I dislike 3 the most. It’s not for the reasons you think (I hope). Less worlds that interested me (only liked 3 Monsters Inc, Toy Story, and Pirates), the gameplay got a huge upgrade/downgrade (cool wall running climbing combat but loss of duel keyblades for the ability to use one at a time and swap them out, I never did), the ending kind of sucked (Sora dies and everyone else gets a happily ever after?). Edit: and less worlds overall; there were like 12 or 15 in the second game and like 9 in 3.

  • I have played KH1 and KH3. I loathed playing KH1 while I could. The controls were confusing, the movement and combat were slow and dull, and the story isn’t interesting, at least through the first few worlds. I feel like I’m going to get a lot of shit for this, so I want to mention that I love Funk music and arcade games. I’m not uncultured, nor am I just hating, I just legitimately found KH1 frustrating and boring. Maybe if I had the chance to finish it, I’d change my mind, but the annoyance might’ve been enough to make me stop before I could, so maybe not.

  • KH2 was my least favorite. Who thought it was a good idea to lock things like high jump, glide, etc behind a wall people can play the whole game and not even realize exists???? Thing I loved about KH1 (gameplaywise) was how by the end the game gets very smooth, and due to not knowing how to unlock those I beat KH2 still thinking it was clunky/slow (not sure what word to use here). If it wasn’t for that then KH2 could’ve potentially been my favorite.

  • In defense, re:com is very different than any other KH game and they never tried it again. I liked the gameplay, the only reason I didn’t like it was there really was no difference in any of the worlds, the Disney characters honestly felt pointless, it wasn’t fun, the boss battles and Castle oblivion itself was kind of cool but otherwise it really was kind of boring. At least Riku’s story skipped to the point and let us just do the boss rush.

  • What funny about the KH series is that even the “bad” KH games are still like 5 to 6/10 on most fronts (so average or slightly above). Sure there are KH games that people don’t like, but I feel objectively that KH hasn’t hit a Sonic 06 of the series so to say. One thing that Sonic and KH does share is that the fanbase can be just as toxic sadly.

  • I actually can explain why I despise KH1. My first KH game was DDD and when I actually got around to playing KH1 I already beat DDD, KH2 and BBS in proud mode. So I decided why not play KH1 in proud mode I’m my first playthrough? The other games weren’t that bad and from the let’s plays I’ve already seen of this game it probably won’t be too bad … not the best decision. Didn’t realize just how different it would actually be and got the worst first impression.

  • -I don’t hate COM because the system is card based, it’s just that the card based system it has isn’t fun to me. Also, even though I do like the main plot, I hate how the Disney worlds are even more filler than usual since they’re literally just constructs made of memories that don’t matter and have no impact on anything. -DDD is my actual least favourite and it’s because it’s where the KH plot completely lost me. I defended the KH series plot against people dismissing it as stupid nonsense for years before DDD came along and proved them right by being a retcon filled, incomprehensible mess. -I hate all the mobile/browser games not for what they are (I haven’t played them, I hope they’re fun) but for the fact that they had the gall to make them integral to the series plot in spite of how little appeal they’d have to a lot of players. -I hate KHIII because, even though DDD let me down, I hoped this one would put the story back on track but it really, really didn’t (the gameplay is fine and it looks pretty; doesn’t matter when the plot is terrible). I only played it once, I never played the DLC and I haven’t touched Kingdom Hearts since 💔 (Yes, I know I responded to a goof article with sincere answers, give me a break, I’m drunk, bored and I have time to kill)

  • I like bbs, but when I played it when I was a kid I completely ignored the melding system because I didn’t quite get it and I didn’t want to do trial and error so I just straight up never got any abilities. Doing the game without leaf bracer, once more, or second chance was the worst experience of my life but by god I did it.

  • Kh1 really was the best game in the series. It actually felt like an adventure and like things mattered. Chain of memories was only on gba until it was made for ps2, but I was not a fan of the fighting system. KH2 was great, but your hand it held exploring and its a very linear path everywhere. Birth by sleep I enjoyed, but in proud mode it turns into using your skills/magic instead of fighting with a keyblade. 365/2 days was actually a pain to play through, but got better as plot developed. Never played recoded because I know its a waste of time/barely adds to the story. Never played dream drop, but it looks like it suffers from using skills/magic to do damage like birth by sleep. KH3 was a disappointment after waiting 2012 to 2018, only pixar animation characters, no FF characters, late dlc that came out months later, and just being a boring experience. Like it felt like nothing mattered building up so much. Union x is literally farming materials the game, not a fan of gacha games. Im really done with the series. Kh4 looks awesome, but it felt like perusal kh3 tech demo. I expect disappointment, so Im done with it. And with another mobile game to further explain plot points, and union x’s entire story is actually important to understand whats going on in the new saga. Its too complicated story wise.

  • I dislike the DS games becuse they are ugly. I am not obsessesd with graphics, DS games like Final Fantasy Tactics ore Ace Attorney look good on the DS. You can make pretty games with low power graphics. But the DS KH games just look so ugly to me. Meybe they should have went with pixel art like chain of memories did. But instet they tried the PS2 graphic style but with the lower power of the DS it just looks horrible. There are other things I dislike about these games but that is my main complain. I want my games to look pretty. The gameplay was ehh. That Panelsystem was awkward. Its more of a story thing but it was kinda awkward having a Data Clone of Sora. Nothing against Characters that are made out of Data. I am a huge Digimon Fan but creating a Data Clone of an existing character is kinda creepy. I dont mind them as excuses fore boss battles but as actual “living” Characters. I mean we had Replicas and stuff in the past but …I dont know I just found Data Sora Wired.

  • CoM was my least favorite because playing it on the gba was awful. Then the ps2 remake came out. Now my least favorite is union x, I played for less than a year before I got fed up with all the in-game items that were inaccessible without in-app purchases. I dislike most mobile games for that same reason.

  • Chain of memories is easily my least favorite. I just hated the card based combat. Weirdly enough my favorite is bbs or ddd. I like using darkness sue me. Also riku is my favorite character so actually getting to play as him without cards was awesome even if the game is objectively crap🤣 grinding dream eaters was horrible if they removed that ddd would easily be my favorite over bbs. Also I hated playing as Aqua in bbs. She was horribly weak compared to the other 2. Great dodge tho lol

  • Kinda unpopular opinion: KH1 is my least favorite game because my copy had a bug where i could not hold the vines in Tarzan’s world. I had to jump and pray for Sora to grab the dang thing. I spent several hours and for forever until i made it to the other side… to find out you need to come back later. I picked up other games and many years later i got “The Story So Far”, where you breeze through the vines pushing one button. Com and Days were my first KH on their consoles, and even them were better to me when i understood what was going on. Stupid vines XD

  • I was a kid when i got a pirate copy of KH1. I liked but a bug prevent me from passing Tarzan world. After that i got a pirate copy of KH2 final mix for my PS2………man…..that game made me a KH super fanboy……. The thing is, i liked KH2 so much that i bought every KH game for PS4. So yeah…….KH1 is boring as hell (but really good looking and the plot is some of the best in KH game) And the other one i hate is BBS…….why??? If is a game post KH2 why don’t make it as polish as KH2???? My favorite KH are KH3, KH2 and KHDDD. Yeah, DDD is similar to the first KH but is a Little faster, flow motion is really cool, i liked Dream Eaters and that many specials, Riku plays really cool and all and all is a really fun game.
