📹 Professional Skills: Self-Awareness
Career success takes more than technical and specialized know-how. It takes professional skills like active learning, time …
If I be honest, whenever I approached to do journaling, I literally stop doing it after writing a couple of sentences. I wondered why and now my mind’s literally likely to take time, as long as it takes, and empty the thoughts and come back to the track. And this episode was my ultimate guide for it. I am super grateful to you for that Sir Rob. Thank you so so much😇❤️
I’ve already grown some self awareness, and I discovered something myself I really don’t like. It turns out, I have some forms of abIeism. Example, I think neurotypicaIs are better than people with ASD. That ASD means lesser personalities and brains. I also feel that people with learning disabiIities are dopéy. Well, with the exception of dyslexia and dyscalculia, since numbers and letters mixing around is a visual issue and couldn’t possibly make them slow-witted. And worst of all, I think people who don’t have down syndrome are better than people who do have it. That those who have the said syndrome match the word inferior. So there you have it. I both think and feel these things I shouldn’t. And I can’t simply change the attitude, because I AUTOMATICALLY feel the way I do. I don’t like myself. I know it doesn’t make me a bad person, but it does make me a jerk
I think its useful to first realize that your “self” and your awareness are separate entities which can be in conflict(anxiety). Most people only identify with awareness. So they are responsible for protection, maintence and sustanance acquisition. A slave to their desires and a victim of the self. Then realize that self(feelings)(unconsciousness) is just as much who you are as awareness. I construct feelings and sensations and run my immune system and digestive system etc. So my inner world(body) is run by who I am without linguistic instruction. Meditation on breath is useful in understanding the transition between awareness and unconsciousness because breathing is a shared function. So I live in a simultaneous union between my heart(unconscious), Mind(awareness) and soul which share a body. We are circular beings with circular problems.
Take responsibility for your feelings everytime you experience negative feelings look at how your thinking is feeding these feelings which usually turn into repetitive behaviour s. Same s##t different day Mindfulness n vipassana meditation are great helps And count to 3 before reacting will help life run smoother. Willingness to take responsibility for feelings is key you no longer have to blame and be a victim .you can claim your power/freedom back💚✌️🧘♂️🙏🏼
