I don’t get the impression that she feels any remorse. Well I do understand why some people find her fascinating. The only reason I watched the Netflix special is because Anna Chlumsky from Veep was in it. I really think the more of these reporters give her time to speak on camera the more her ego is going to inflate and Society is going to just keep rewarding her when she is famous for scamming people out of their money.
I finished the series today, I’m from Germany and it astounded me the most, that alone with the “I know XY” “Anna Delvez, XY told me about you” she made that much money. Here in Germany it would’ve never worked out. I doesn’t matter who you are or who you know, if you don’t show legit paperwork/finances, you’re out. I don’t think it would’ve even worked out in Münchener Schickeria. So yeah she’s definitely a criminal, but many people made really bad choices by trusting her without real knowledge.

The interviewer was professional but I wish she had broken her character and asked her questions like: “Do you feel any sort of remorse for the betrayals you’ve committed along the way?’…”Is this something you will regret on your deathbed?” I would have liked to see Anna’s reaction to that. Most people do not like who they are or do not know who they are; therefore they lie to others to prove something to themselves. I personally find these people an unattractive human kind. What I love most about this interview is the interviewer’s clear disdain for this train wreck of a person. Putting her on house arrest in a luxury apartment with free time to make art and order take out is no sentence. She should have been sentenced to a $15/hour full time job to which she can only take public transportation, a $50/week food budget and 10 hrs/week taking care of kids, like so many Americans. And a device that administers a shock her every time she talks in a baby voice. No remorse was expressed, no humility, just the same exact sociopathic person, now fortified by her fame.
