Now the year trial I had is gone and now I have to pay for free time I order for him to have any apps on his side that’s so crazy smh. Not a you problem its an amazon problem lol. Thank you for sharing that by the way.

  • Thank you for the article and detailed steps. Unfortunately, this doesn’t work for me. I can film and post my child’s Kindle going through these steps and not working. Amazon support offered no solution accept full wipe and restart to the tablet. Have done this 3 times. If not, tablets going in the garbage.

  • How do I enable in app purchases through the kids profile… ? I had an issue purchasing through the parents and wasn’t able to share the purchased content only the app. I did talk with Amazon about it and they said I had to purchase the app (full version of the app) through the kids profile which I did do and then disabled so my son wouldn’t make purchases. Now I can’t remember how to enable it!

  • Hi, my son has had this tablet for about 2 years. We were only able to download 4 apps during that time and it will not download any more. He got bored playing with the same apps and stop playing with tablet for 1 year. Just today I add a SD card to extend memory and apps still will not download. I need help! If anyone knows why this is happening we would appreciate the help. Thank you
