How A Denim Wallet Is Sewn?

This tutorial demonstrates how to make a simple denim wallet using scrap denim fabric or old jeans. The process involves tracing patterns on paper and cutting them out, making one long wallet pattern shorter than the other. Then, more patterns are made, and the wallet is put together. The button is then sewn in place, and the slit is then ta daa.

The tutorial also discusses creating a small denim and floral bifold wallet from old jeans, using fabric like cotton, corduroy, denim, faux leather, or cork. The wallet can be made for any fabric you like, such as cotton, corduroy, denim, faux leather, or cork.

To create a denim wallet, you will need old jeans, lots of thread, needle, sewing pins, and a sewing machine. To ensure the wallet stays folded and bills don’t fall out, you will need to sew up one side of the wallet. The wallet exterior piece and the completed card holder piece should be placed right sides facing and sew together using a ¼” seam, leaving a gap of approximately 4″ for the pocket.

Instructables user Pkruep shows how to sew up one side of the wallet to prevent bills from falling out. The tutorial concludes by showing how to make a denim wallet from old jeans, using leftover denim from altering jeans or buying new yardage.
