Do Vegetarians Consume Piiza Cheese?

Cheese pizza is often considered a safe option for vegetarians due to its simplicity and lack of meat products. Most cheese pizzas can be considered vegetarian as they do not contain any meat products, with the primary components being dough, tomato sauce, and cheese. However, some types of cheese may contain animal-derived rennet, which is an enzyme-derived ingredient.

Vegetarian pizza can have cheese, as long as it does not contain rennet, an enzyme-derived substance. A vegetarian pizza recipe can be made by cleaning and thinning artichokes, cutting them into wedges, and boiling them in salted water. This recipe is both delicious and satisfying for both vegetarians and carnivores.

Vegans can enjoy classic cheese on their pie, but they must be aware that they do not consume dairy products, meaning no dairy cheese. Some recipes may not include cheese in the pizza, so it is important to check with your host to ensure it is suitable for vegetarians.

In general, vegetarians can enjoy pizza as tasty and satisfying as non-vegan pizzas. However, not all pizza styles can be made in a satisfactory way. Cheese pizza is often perceived as a safe option for vegetarians, as it is simple and does not contain any meat products.

If vegans cannot eat cheese, they cannot eat pizza. However, cheese and vegetable toppings are typically acceptable, but always check for any potential allergens or other ingredients. Overall, cheese pizza is a popular choice for vegetarians and carnivores alike, as long as it does not contain rennet.

Can a vegetarian eat cheese pizza?

Vegetarians can still enjoy cheese on pizzas, as classic cheese is a crowd-pleaser for those eliminating meat. Vegans do not consume dairy products, so there are flavorful dairy-free alternatives available. For homemade pizza nights, try experimenting with different products until you find one you like. You can order pizzas with all your favorite veggies without cheese, add extra sauce, and go for greens like spinach for a cheese-free base. Even meat eaters are known to skip cheese due to dairy sensitivities.

Vegetable toppings for pizzas include mushrooms, olives, green peppers, spinach, and tomatoes. Classic marinara sauce pairs perfectly with any vegetable, but you can also try barbecue with mushrooms and caramelized onions or white pizza with spinach for a dairy-free option. A good sauce is a foundation for a tasty pizza.

Why is cheese not vegetarian?

Vegetarians typically avoid foods that require animal death, but cheese is often considered vegetarian-friendly. However, some cheeses contain animal rennet, which contains enzymes from animal stomachs. To avoid animal rennet, check the ingredient list and avoid European or European-style cheeses. Softer cheeses like paneer or cottage cheese are safer. There are many vegetarian-friendly options available, including vegan cheese and dairy cheese made with plant-based rennet.

Is pizza supposed to be vegetarian?

The definition of a vegetarian pizza is contingent upon whether the pizza is prepared without meat or with meat substitutes, or if the customer requests a pizza without pepperoni from the restaurant.

Is mozzarella pizza vegetarian?

Mozzarella, a traditional Italian cheese, is not traditionally vegan due to its cow or buffalo milk ingredient and often not vegetarian due to its presence of rennet, a mixture of enzymes produced in calves’ stomachs. However, there are vegetarian alternatives available. Plant-based and dairy-free mozzarella alternatives can be made by combining one or both of these ingredients. This allows for a more diverse and vegan option for cheese consumption.

Is pizza in Italy vegetarian?

Traveling to Italy as a vegetarian can offer an authentic experience with a wide variety of vegetarian dishes, including pizzas, pastas, paninis, gelato, and coffee. However, finding the right places to enjoy these dishes requires careful exploration. Pro tips include finding the best vegetarian cuisine in Florence and Rome, and taking a food tour to deepen your understanding of Italy’s culinary scene.

Which pizza cheese is vegetarian?

In the United States, vegetarians have the option of consuming cheeses produced with vegetable and microbial rennet, including low-moisture shredded mozzarella. Nevertheless, a considerable number of European cheeses continue to utilize animal rennet, prompting some vegetarians to forgo Parmesan and other cheeses on pizzas. In general, individuals who adhere to a vegetarian diet are able to consume cheese pizza without any issues.

Why is mozzarella not vegetarian?

Fresh mozzarella is a cheese derived from animal rennet, a substance derived from the stomach lining of young, unweaned animals. This renders it unsuitable for vegetarians and those who are intolerant to lactose. Nevertheless, there are alternatives to traditional mozzarella, including both animal-based and plant-based options. In contrast, rennet-free mozzarella is characterized by a mild flavor and soft texture, rendering it an optimal choice for panini or pizzas.

Are vegetarians allowed to eat cheese?

Vegetarian cheese is typically made from cow’s milk, good bacteria, salt, and may contain black truffles for flavor. A vegetarian diet excludes meat and cheese can be vegetarian friendly if it doesn’t contain animal rennet. Parmesan cheese is not vegetarian if it uses animal rennet in traditional recipes. Vegetarian alternatives include Roquefort, Grana Padano, and Gorgonzola. Some common vegetarian cheeses include:

Why isn’t cheese vegetarian?

Not all cheese is entirely vegetarian, as many are made with animal rennet, derived from the fourth lining of a young calf’s stomach. Rennet serves as a coagulant in cheese production, helping milk solidify by causing proteins in milk to web together. This separation of milk solids (protein, fat, sugar) from liquid (water) is crucial for cheese production. However, not all cheeses are vegetarian-friendly, and finding cheeses made without animal products can be challenging.

The use of whey or acid as a coagulant in the production of softer cheeses such as mozzarella, paneer, ricotta, and cream cheese renders these products safe for vegetarians. While cheese labels often indicate the type of rennet used, this information should not be taken as a guarantee. Non-vegetarian rennet is identified as “animal enzyme,” whereas vegetarian cheeses are designated as “microbial enzyme” or “vegetarian enzyme.”

  • I’ve been vegan for 7 years and I’ve unknowingly eaten food that had cheese in it a few times. While I wasn’t happy when I found out I don’t understand the anger. Chill out people. There is no vegan point-system. You are still the same person you was before eating it. If it’s advertised as vegan then report it. If not, then maybe ask before you eat if you are going to crazy after the fact. He contradicts himself commenting on having “no hope for humanity” when he rages over something that he was too lazy to avoid.

  • I used to work at Mcdoanlds . I have a Muslim coworker and I asked him if he ever tried pork out of curiosity and he said he tried it accidentally. That made no sense to me at first. Here’s his story. He ordered a sausage egg mcmuffin and he thought sausage was beef. When he bit it he said “what is this? I never tasted this before?” And then realized what it was. His parents did not make a big deal out of it. But yeah I get that he can’t eat it for religious reasons.

  • Jokes aside, my sister has been vegan for like 8 years now. We once went to dinner and she ordered a dish that doesnt typically contain eggs, but this place did use eggs. When she found out she got the waiters attention and politely explained that she was vegan and asked if there were any vegan options. The waiter apologized for the mix up and my sister said “no its my fault, I should have asked if it was vegan like I normally do” I feel like these were similar reactions

  • I know a lot of people may not agree with this lifestyle and find this funny. But to practice this amount of restraint and discipline in your beliefs is honorable. I rarely see people display this level of consistency in almost anything else. Much respect brother and I’m sorry they put something in your food without your knowledge 🙏🏾

  • I’m a vegetarian and I’ve mistakingly consumed meat once in the last 2 years of being veggie. I didn’t react like this.. I was disappointed at my own mistake and have been more careful since. I have however come across a few vegans who absolutely love to tell people they haven’t eaten any animal products for X amount of years etc. I think this guy might be angry because now he has lost that feeling of superiority and has to start all over again lol

  • I was vegan for five years. I used to have to ask about cheese in sauces because they would pop out of nowhere. After stopping for a while and getting back into simple Italian cooking, I remembered this and tried something. Today, fresh, finely-grated REAL parmesan in the sauce is my secret weapon. It makes the pizza much better. In addition, it’s also great to add to pasta sauces. Really improves the flavour. Too much is overkill but the right amount does wonders.

  • This guy is being ridiculous. And trust me I can relate to this style of life, I haven’t eaten meat in over 16 years, I’m not vegan but I’ve had to deal with people putting meat and messing up my orders more times that I care to remember. It’s not worth breaking a phone and ruining your day. Put it in the fridge and offer it to a friend or family member

  • My coworker freaked out when I told him that there where pork in his bologna. At first he didn’t believe me so I told him to read the ingredient description and that really set him off. Mostly barking at me and saying I had absolutely nothing to do with his religion etc. I told him I thought I was doing him a favor and I meant no disrespect but that fell for deaf ears. He bringed that incident up again later on a shift meeting, I didn’t say much but I guess somehow that whole thing was my fault.

  • I can understand being this upset if it’s a health risk issue but his is a moral code issue a lot of vegans act like drug addicts who have been sober for a certain amount of days months years and the minute that fasting or sobriety is broken it’s like they have to start from the beginning and be a beginner again but this guy’s reaction was just very aggressively melodramatic and I think a part of him actually liked the way it tasted so that probably made him even more mad on top of just eating regular cheese🤦🏻‍♂️😭😂

  • I once turned a vegan from his diet. He was eating a salad. It had tomatoes and onions and lettuce and a few other things. He started to give me a hard time about eating a burger. So I pointed out to him the only thing in his salad intentionally created by a plant that was intended to be eaten was the tomato as many types of fruit are to entice and animal to eat the fruit and the disperse seeds. Some seeds even require pass through an animals gut to be able to germinate. The rest of the salad was just parts of the plant that it used to keeps itself alive. And is very much alive while he ate the salad. Perhaps it is even screaming and we just could not hear it, at least my burger was long dead. He turned about as green as the salad and ran off. The next week he was eating a burger and claimed after thinking on it you are either a consumer or a producer and humans are consumers. He did start thanking all the life that went into his food and would not eat a whole lot and was careful not waste any food. Oddly enough I came across a scientific paper that went into plant communication and that they found plants do indeed scream in their own way. It was an interesting read.

  • I am not only shocked I am also appalled How could they commit such an otherworldly sin of putting cheese on a pizza How can anyone live with themselves inside of their climate controlled new york apartment knowing that they unwittingly ate an animal product There is no way anyone could suffer more than a vegan who accidentally eats cheese Faith in humanity lost 😢

  • I was vegetarian for a full year, then i became vegan and that lasted for about 2 years. Once I really did some researched and just watched the other vegans around, i immediatly decided to go back to normal. I feel amazing, im less stressed while eating and im much more enjoyable when eating with others.

  • being this privileged of being able to eat everyday to your liking, then being mad over a nutrient that your body consumed but your source of moral didnt is just egotistic and selfish, its like you choose to be mad because you want to, not because you had to, and then he blame humanity as if hes not apart of the problem of it

  • I’m half Italian so. As a half Italian woman I can say that in Italian culture when making pizzas aka The Neapolitan style pizza has very little grated Pecorino romano or Parmigiano reggiano cheese to add flavor to the sauce. So finding a little cheese in an Italian pizza is not abnormal or uncommon now some people in italy don’t do this but most of the time yes.

  • I get the frustration because he feels he was deceived but he is a drama queen… is he lactose intolerant?? If so, I can totally understand as I am and having an upset stomach/uncomfortable bowel movements isn’t a pleasant experience. Is he deathly allergic to dairy???. Veganism is a dietary restriction by choice not some disease passed down hereditarily. I accidently had something with dairy milk and I didn’t have a meltdown, I was disappointed but I knew I should have asked about the product before purchasing/consuming. Also, I can understand if he had a personal threshold avoiding animal based products but it’s not the end of the world.

  • I’ve cooked several meals for my vegetarian friend over the years and one time I made a vegetarian lasagna from scratch and thought to save time I’d just buy a bag of salad and some chunky chips! She said it was a lovely meal but it wasn’t until she left I realised the fries were coated in beef fat!! I was a total coward and never confessed but now I always check the labels! Amber if you ever read this I’m sorry! 😘

  • I’m vegan eight+ years. IMO he overreacted. If you’re an ethical vegan, every little thing you do helps. So if you happen to get something not vegan, and you’re not allergic to it, let it go and move on. You can do a review of the restaurant, mentioning cheese in the sauce, if you like. For those going vegan, or considering the change, remember: progress, not perfection.

  • Just wanna clarify I don’t hate vegans or anything like that, I could care less what anyone decides to eat and what not to. But I just don’t understand why people choose to go vegan, like we literally evolved to eat meat, also why does it matter if he eats cheese? Milking cows doesn’t hurt them, so why would it be something you chose not to eat? Genuinely curious if there are any vegans reading this, let me know. Again, just want to clarify I don’t hate vegans, as long as they are not in your face about it yelling at you for eating meat, I don’t really care.

  • Has anyone noticed that this is nothing compared to the tantrum most Americans throw when they realize they just ate something that DOES NOT contain cheese or a dead animal? You talk about being triggered, but most Americans act like they’ll be on their death bed within 4 hours if their GI tract doesn’t maintain constant contact with cheese or shrimp or bacon or beef. It’s pathetic.

  • For some reason this reminds me of one of my friends. He doesn’t eat meat, not due to his “beliefs” or anything, but because his doctor’s orders. Why is that, don’t ask me. We’re cool with that, and we always pick restaurants that offer dishes that have meat alternatives on the menu. He’s very adamant about it, not wanting to eat meat (red meat to be precise) as it’s health-related and could actually harm his “digestive tract” so it’s a real issue. Then this one time we were travelling to this small village and one a very kind lady offered us a grilled meat for lunch. We shared glances knowing that we would have to find an excuse for him, but as we sat there he ate the meal no problem. I was like “Bro I thought you don’t eat red meat?” He basically said “No I don’t but she’s already prepared this for us, the least I can do is to accept it. Besides, it’s free my guy,” or something along the lines. I mean, say what you want, but big W for him for caring about her feelings than his own issues. AFAIK nothing bad happened to him afterwards, albeit he did say that, once we finished the meal, that he hoped nothing bad would happen.

  • Not to be rude or anything but i legit figured they go through lengths to make sure nothing dairy, meat or anything is in food when they order from somewhere where they have vegan choices. Like i figured they’d double check on that to make sure it’s all vegan? I mean they do it where i work and i always have the book and recipes on hand whenever they call in to make an order.

  • I had a “friend” who was vegan… He raided my fridge and threw out all my animal products… Needles to say, he got thrown out too… I respect vegans, i’m even open to conversations about the topic… But don’t throw out perfectly good meat, eggs and cheese. I don’t try and make you a carnivore by stuffing meat down your throught.

  • LMAO “Only in America bro” do people put cheese in sauce. Except every Italian on the planet (you know, the culture that invented marinara) puts chunks of parmesan rind into their sauce to add depth of flavor. (It’s later removed, of course, because it’s inedible.) So sorry, not “only in America”, cause it started in Italy. Bro.

  • being a vegan is fine…. but the moment you think you’re better than anybody else for being vegan then the problem starts. I swear over half people who consider themselves vegan do it because 1. it’s trendy 2. because they want to feel superior to others. For them it has nothing to do with actually helping the environment or stopping animal cruelty.

  • people are STARVING on the other side of the world, in our own countries, you ACCIDENTLY ate a miniscule amount of cheese, be thankful that you have food to eat, to have compassion doesn’t mean you have to be so ungrateful and act like a child about something so meaningless. I have nothing against vegans but really???? get some perspective.

  • Bruh that’s his fault. The way he freaked out you can tell he’s a hardcore vegan. Should’ve made it not bought it…If you’re a vegan and you order something just be prepared that something could go wrong. Whether you didn’t ask what was in all the products or if the chef messed up, we’re all humans and we make mistakes 🤷🏽‍♂️

  • When I went vegan, I also had a hard time taking it easy. You have to either be ever-vigilant, or simply decide not to sweat the small stuff. That’s why I tend to call myself Whole Foods, Plant-Based now. Because if something like this happened, I’d just shrug it off, and go back to doing what I want. As long as he’s not allergic, or addicted to it, it’s really not going to hurt him. Veganism has not yet reached the stage where that level of outrage is really sustainable. If he wants it to be, he could perhaps start a vegan village, where nothing is available that has any animal product(s) in it. Then perhaps he can feel safe. Or he can just relax, and get on with his life.

  • I’m a weak vegan (I try to stay away from dairy but if someone gives me a dessert I don’t think I’ll reject it, working on it, chill) but if I order a vegan pizza or a vegan burger and it turns out it has cheese or tuna (because to some apparently tuna doesn’t count) I would flip, I have return dishes due that, this is a serious deal to me, you are feeding me an animal, a creature that used to be alive and didn’t want to be slaughtered, it’s fucking gross.

  • If your vegan it’s your job to make sure your foods are safe and make sure you don’t go to a place that could cross contaminate and read what your eating and ask for ingredients. Not to mention you must come to terms with foods you can no longer eat and why should you eat a fake burger or turkey when they represent what your trying to not eat thats never made sense to me.

  • Having watched quite a few of Powsimian’s articles, I think his main audience are people who are already vegans. He’s not there to persuade, or educate, but for entertainment value for the vegan community. He is an ethical vegan, so for him, having cheese in pizza sauce is not just a trivial detail. I don’t understand the huge backlash against him….he has never claimed to be an educational website, and his subscriber base totally understands the frustration of thinking something is vegan, only to realize that it’s not.

  • I’m not vegan yet i understand how cruel the meat industry is and their standpoint, its weird i love bacon yet i love pigs so much as an animal, kinda wish they wasnt part of the industry personally. But the industry is so gargantuous and the ration of conscience individuals and mindless consumers is so slued, the vegans and vegetarians are barely even making a dent in the whole scheme

  • You need to read Carol J. Adams ‘The Sexual Politics of Meat’ and you’ll find out how the meat industry is the exploitation of the female body… further if you have seen Cowspiracy and still eat meat/dairy you are part of the problem, you’ve compartmentalized what you know (that the world is in very serious danger of possible near term mass extinction due to climate change) against what you do…. eat dead flesh… Grace is just so so wrong and needs to rethink what she said…. Powsimian was doing a Mukbang and he lives online… it was sincere

  • I am vegan but this guy did go overboard. since being vegan I have accidentally eaten stuff with animal products, realized what was in the food and stopped eating it.I get being mad its not a pleasant feeling to realize you ate something made from animals, however you have to view it as lesson learned to be more cautious when eating something you haven’t made yourself.

  • Contrary to what I see down in the comments. I really feel for the guy. I think he just hit the breaking point, because when you’re a vegan you have to literally do your homework on everything, and sometimes it can get exhausting. He (or shell I say his mom, although his fault) slipped up and didn’t think about checking the tomato sauce for dairy. Like okay I feel him on this one lol. It’s ridiculous to put dairy cheese in tomato sauce. Why, because if someone orders pizza without cheese, it’s b/c they don’t want cheese. If they order pizza WITH cheese, it’s because they want cheese, so why put EXTRA small amounts of cheese in the tomato sauce. Like it’s just a ridiculously stupid thing to do, and just further proves how unhealthy the food industry is and how little consideration they have towards our health. It’s more about what they can add and disguise in their products to make it more addictive and taste better, regardless of the implications. As a pizzeria, you are buying your tomato sauce to put on pizza that is going to have cheese for people who want cheese, the sauce is specifically bought for pizza. It’s just an idiotic decision for a pizzeria to make to buy sauce that guarantees dairy/cheese will be on your pizza. How dumb. I’d be upset to if I was in his position. At the end of the day it’s a lesson learned on his part, but still shame on that pizzeria.

  • I think he was more so pissed that he preached about “you’re a horrible person if you’re non vegan” and talked crap about vegetarians while he not only ate, but ENJOYED a cheese pizza. And didn’t eat a little bit, ate HALF of it. He was talking so much shit just to end up unknowingly being a hypocrite. That’s what truly made him angry 😂😂

  • Let’s be honest, the king of dinosaurs eat meat. Bodybuilders need meat for proteins, rellying on beans and vegetables for proteins is bad, we have teeth for a reason. Our ancestors eat meat, so why shouldn’t we eat meat? Animals eat meat. I know the current situation of livestock and poultry. In this world, it’s a battle royale of eating, good thing that chicken and cows would bw extinct at the time of our grand kids. Edit: sorry for bad english. I’m still learning

  • 2:35, haven’t watched the article she’s referring to, but I’m sure he wasn’t comparing killing the animals to rape BUT COWS ARE FORCIBLY IMPREGNATED Just like humans, cows only produce milk once they’ve given birth. So to keep the milk flowing, farmers artificially inseminate female cows about once a year. … This separation causes extreme distress for the cow and her calf. … but anyway it always frustrates me when animal eaters say that vegans are violent or aggressive and that can be true but they think violence is stating true facts about what they themselves pay for and consume, they literally consume the outcome of unnecessary suffering, trauma and death .

  • A vegan youtuber did a similar thing in my country. If u want check the article named “SUBWAY VEGAN VERSIYON REZALETI!!!!” yeah that’s the title and yes u can clearly hear her scream even tho there’s a language barrier lol. She would order vegan sandwiches from Subway and review. And she found a piece of cheese in her sandwich. Omg… That was.. The whole article was just so cringe and scary…. She, completely out of control, began to swear and insult the workers. In many of her sentences, she was even insulting the unrelated animals, without realizing it. She was talking like, “They have to change that, they HAVE TO like a dog!!! ” or in the other sentence, “I waited like a damnn dog,” she even said. She then cried out in the sandwich that she even wanted people who made mistakes to be fired… even started yelling that they should f.ckin DIE. As far as I understand, avoiding animal products causes anger control problems in “some” people. And it’s also paradoxical that they say what they do for animals and be so cruel to humans. The lives of humans and the lives of animals are equally valuable. But some vegans, treat humans like they’re garbage and also talk about respect for life lol

  • Most vegans don’t eat food from others unless they research, inquire or read the ingredient list INTENSIVELY. So, assuming he’s for real (probably a clickbait article though) the fact that he didn’t even bother looking up the ingredients online (big companies show the allergens online) or calling before, makes me think that he’s not a strict vegan. In that case, then a little Parmesan won’t hurt his stomach. And if he’s upset for moral reasons then it’s still his fault for just accepting the food instead of kindly rejecting it because he’s not sure if it’s vegan. Pizza companies put cheese in everything, so it’s no shocker that the sauce had cheese. It’s actually surprisingly nice when the sauce is plant-based but never presumed. Even dough is suspicious. This guy is just a lazy vegan and an immature person in general. No need to generalize all vegans because of him, nor ANY groups of people because of ONE foolish person 💁🏻‍♀️

  • Hi, I’m vegan and I personally never buy food in big industry’s.. Because yeah they use cheese or meet in their other’s pizza so I don’t want to put my money in it ^^ It’s like the vegan option in Macdonald, why à vegan would like to put money in it? ^^` Anyway, that can happen to get cheese, meet, fish in some restaurants even if they try to be careful.. I’m made with myself because I should being more careful, but I’m not made to the restaurant.. All vegans are different, my bf eat meat and it’s not a problem 🙂 so please don’t considerate this guys like the only type of vegan.. 🙁

  • Most vegans I know are very respectful people, even when someone isn’t very nice to them. I think it’s normal to overeat sometimes. A vegan is a vegan for the animals, for compassion. There is not reason for us to eat animals anymore. (American academy of nutrition and dietetics) Animal agriculture’s the first contributor to global warming. (World health organization). Animals are sentient ( declaration of sentient 2012, supported by more than 80 scientists around the world). Peace to all of you. 🙏🌱🤗

  • I don’t plan on actually perusal this article all the way through but as a vegan it’s kind of understandable to be upset if there’s animal products in your food, but only if you double checked it fit your dietary restrictions beforehand. If not, you are to blame because you just assumed rather than checking and verifying everything yourself. It’s not the end of the world if it’s eaten on accident. Horrible stomach ache and maybe diarrhea, but you won’t die 🤦🏾‍♀️

  • Maybe if more of the ‘outspoken’ vegans didn’t insist on dressing and acting like hippies/radfems/trustafarians, the public would see that there are rational, conventional-looking people (and, yes, even conservatives) that choose to be vegan. One can avoid animal flesh, dairy, leather and silk products without one’s appearance absolutely screaming ‘militant liberal’. Clothing, accessories, and personal grooming ARE used to make statements, and are involved in forming impressions of others, and they always will be.

  • I shot 487 rabbits last year protecting arable crops for human consumption, I shot precisely 0 rabbits protecting livestock, of which none went to slaughter. We also used almost 1000 tonnes of pesticide on wheat and barley. If this guy wants a truly vegan pizza, grow the plants and make it for himself.

  • Every meat eater says that vegans are extreme, this and that, but when we are at the table being the only vegan like my case and at a certain point you have to say it because someone offers you food that you don’t eat and EVERYONE starts asking questions and judging you because you don’t wanna eat an innocent animal, we look like the bad ones, and this is the extreme for you? We just want the world a better place. At least this is my thought, it is what i want. Obs: Btw i don’t judge people’s choices but i don’t like when they do it to me because of weird or exaggerated vegan people, cause it’s not because of a person that the rest is the same. That is like, don’t get a pitbull cause they are all bad, it’s all about personality.

  • Definitely a publicity stunt. No argument there. It’s true what she said. I support people who are vegan, but there’s so many of idiots in vegan community which use such methods to show off that makes me annoyed. Most vegans I met turned vegan after knowing that animals were suffering and were brutally slaughtered. but there are others who just say stupid stuff like meat is murder and argue keeping the base point as slaughter. These vegans are annoying .

  • I don’t feel like he has a right to complain. Pizza places aren’t really known for being vegan, tho they sometimes have vegan options. It doesn’t seem like this place did, it seems like they just held the cheese because he said to. The questions he asked when he called them are the questions he should’ve asked while making his order. That means they had no indication he was vegan until he called to complain. But the reality is, they’re not obligated to accommodate him even if he is vegan. The fact they held the cheese in the first place is already a curtesy. You don’t get to have an entitled, privileged temper tantrum over a curtesy.

  • I agree, that wasn’t necessary at all. But saying that because of his really poor attitude people hates vegans is too much. There’s all kind of vegans as well as carnivores, and no matter what you choose to eat, is not the food that will make you less idiot. It is your willing to expand and have compassion.Beijos com 🌱❤️

  • I agree with this woman! Vegans are ok as long as they go about it sensibly and stop trying to show it down our throats and actting like we’re horrible. Honestly I respect their decision but I think what we really need is a balance not too much Slaughter that there is so much waste but also not so many farms that there is no land, you know what I mean. Balance is the key to this problem Note: if a vegan gets agressive in this way, calmly state a few times that vegan extremist has actually caused harm with they’re choices and they hardly know what to say after giving you enough time to run. A few topics that could work are Celebrity with the fennec fox Almond farms and droughts The vegan who toss the invasive fish back in the water which destroyed most of the ecosystem

  • I could never be vegan, it’s very hard for me to maintain a healthy weight. I went vegetarian for awhile but had to stop because I wasn’t getting whole proteins and loosing weight. I have marfan syndrome and if you look up those who have it, you might think these people are anorexic. I hate vegans because they want to hate without understanding. I don’t hate those who respect my choices though.

  • This guy is just like the Pharisees from the Bible. Whether you believe in religion or not, I don’t care because it gives out a good life lesson. Basically they shun everyone else for not being as religious as they are. They follow everything literally and never without mistake. They’re so perfect in their own minds that they’re skipped over not just by everyone else that has to listen to their banter, but also Jesus because they’re so perfect that there’s no way a man like Jesus, or even a god for that matter, could possibly ever help them. The lesson is if you wanna believe you’re just this world hero because you do no wrong, you’re living in a world all by yourself, and there will be nobody there for you, and you’ll just live this miserable life where not even your mom can help you. this is exactly what this little child is… helpless and miserable. I feel sorry for him because he will always be like this and there’s nothing anyone can do for him.

  • Why didn’t he know this before? He’s right? Who puts cheese in tomato sauce??? That’s just stupid. I don’t even go to pizza restaurants anymore. It’s so easy to make your own or get vegan brands from the store. I hardly go to any restaurants anymore. I’m very picky about my food. I don’t want any cruelty in my food.

  • i dont agree with the person who made the article (the vegan) but for everyone being really ignorant in the comments about how oh he probably realized how good it is or its not a big deal. i have been vegetarian for a while now and today i ordered a vegetarian egg roll and i ate a few bites and realized it had chicken in it i started having a literal panic attack and couldnt stop crying. i am not bejng dramatic that is genuinely how i felt i feel extremely guilty and sad and ultimately disgusted with my own body and the fact that there is a dead animals meat inside of it.

  • Okay i get the whole premise behind veganism but us as humans eating meat made us evolve faster than any other animal on earth And cooking meat made us not waste our whole day waiting for food to digest in our stomachs making it possible for us to use our extra time to think about the universe and other things and such

  • How hard was he looking at that pizza to see the extremely small shredded piece of cheese covered in red sauce? Also, the pizza kinda seemed quickly thrown together almost like it was made in his kitchen and put together for the article, cheese included. My theory is that he planned the entire thing, from making the pizza and throwing it in an old pizza box, editing it to make it look like he found cheese in his pizza, and making a very scripted feeling phone call.

  • If your not vegan you won’t understand how cheese effects us etc! It’s not a joke when you order no cheese we mean it! We ask to be respectful of our diet choices that’s all! Why can’t you respect us not eating meat dairy or cheese or eggs etc? it’s really disrespectful to make fun of vegans ! and why so hard to just leave out cheese on a pizza and put other ingredients instead?? Not that hard ! any good restaurant would be more than welcome to be vegan friendly and actually cater to vegan diets! He did not go overboard at all! there’s no excuse for not serving vegans what they order period! If no cheese it means no cheese period! How disrespectful of non vegans! I think he had honest intentions!

  • God I hate to see all this hatred in the comments for vegans we’re just trying to live our lives! I understand that some vegans can be disrespectful and preachy but it’s not fair to stereotype an entire community because of what you see represented in the media and possibly people you’ve met. Bottom line if you don’t have anything positive to say don’t fucking say it!
