📹 Cadbury Vegan Plant Bar Almond REVIEW | I’m Not Sure What Its Name Is
The name is a bit daft and there is a LOT of blurb but don’t let that put you off.
I have tried so many vegan chocolate bars (Hu and things like that) and they taste like licking a dog’s butt! I have given up all hope of finding a decent chocolate bar. I was really hoping Cadbury would be the answer. But who knows if they will even come to the US… What vegan bars DO you recommend??
They probably took long to bring it out because they knew that it wouldn’t sell so great. But because everyone is bringing out vegan chocolates they probably felt that they had to. I work in retail and no one is buying them. It got so bad that my store is slashing the price to 20p and its still not flying off the shelves.
I thought it smelt exactly like cadbury but it tasted awfully bland. Creamier than normal dairy milk!? What!? NO. I’m 35 and have eaten original recipe cadbury in the 90s. This was NOT creamy. It didn’t melt in the mouth. It was slimy and oily and a waste of money… just my opinion… agree with the score… but yeah, definitely not creamy. The fact they put oil in them… yuck.
