📹 I can’t believe Mort said this…
Mort is pretty messed up. Mort exposed. All Hail King Julien NETFLIX ORIGINAL.
He has a point. If we respect women, we can make more children TO SELL. Stonks. Edit: 1 month later, I just realised. This is like how their system work in The Promised Neverland (an anime, in case you haven’t heard of it, go watch it). So basically: take care of the children until they become old enough, but at a certain age, boys would be sold and girls would be trained to replace the breeders. And then again, for us, STONKS. And besides, if boys were sold, they have more potential to be used as man labour (physical advatage of men, obviously).
For anyone unfamiliar with the show, Mort is canonically an eldritch, multidimensional being who absorbs other versions of himself. Additionally, his DNA is only 60% mouse lemur and 40% bear, starfish, sand, pot belly pig, cactus, spool of copper wire, wood chips and possibly spider. This is not a joke, it is very explicitly stated in the show. There is a Mortiverse. If you are interested in learning more the YouTuber “The Theorizer” has quite a few articles on the subject.
fun fact:Mort is of a species that is near-immortal and can suck out the life force of other ‘Morts’ in the multiverse, giving them multiple personalities. This explains Smart Mort, an alter ego of his own, who is a version of himself from another multiverse where he is an intelligent character. It is also revealed that Mort sucked out his grandmother’s life force, and she now lives inside his mind.
“What is the meaning of life?” Nicole Watterson: “CRUSH YOUR ENEMIES! SEE THEM DRIVEN BEFORE YOU! AND HEAR THE LAMENTATION OF THEIR WOMEN! Or having a family! It’s pretty much the same. What about you, Mort?” Mort: (This) Nicole Watterson: “Oh, that’s nice. Wait … what the WHAT?!?” I … I’m sorry, sweetheart, but something’s seriously wrong with you. Go see a therapist.”
I think this is probably how Mort is: Going from getting on King Julien’s nerves and being dumb at times to over-the-top crazed and beserk. Thats how I knew him when i watched both the films and the show. This might’ve come as a little bit of a surprise to me but maybe Mort was acting insensitive in what he was saying.
“Still, a prince should make himself feared in such a way that if he does not gain love, he at any rate avoids hatred; for fear and the absence of hatred may well go together, and will be always attained by one who abstains from interfering with the property of his citizens and subjects or with their women. And when he is obliged to take the life of any one, let him do so when there is proper justification and manifest reason for it; but above all he must abstain from taking the property of others, for men forget more easily the death of their father than the loss of their patrimony. Then also pretexts for seizing property are never wanting, and one who begins to live by rapine will always find some reason for taking the goods of others, whereas causes for taking life are rarer and more fleeting.” Niccolo Machiavelli, The Prince This clip is proof that Mort is versed fluently in the art of 15th and 16th Century European statesmanship.
At the beginning he straight up said “Once we are over the wall go for the males first” thats not the only bad thing he said he then said this at 0:03 and at 0:05 he said this… Wow MORT treat males and children like dirt but like women? You should like us all… (P.s this is a joke comment and not a rant so dont take it serously and if you wanna leave it a like go ahead)
