  • Aggressive is a good thing when it isn’t born from frustration or anger. It is a mistake to try to make them less aggressive. You should be teaching them to properly utilize that emotion to go after their dreams. Sadly, most would rather medicate them, leaving them to think there is something wrong with them.

  • My son skipped the aggressive 2 year old stage and saved it for his 3 year old self. I’m losing my mind because he’s so aggressive towards his little brother . I think we notice a pattern when we have to give a little more attention to the baby he gets kind of resentful towards him and us. Even though we do so much with him, he’s only 3 so he probably doesn’t see it that way.

  • So much for schools shortening or getting rid of recess. When teachers of very young children try to speak about the value of unregulated free time for children try and explain how vital this time is, we are shut down immediately. More specialists need to speak up to school boards about this issue. No socialization means bad times ahead for certain kids.

  • Clearly Jordan hasn’t lived through 48 hrs. of a real ADHD-boy w/ more serotonin, testosterone and low executive function skills, let alone a whole year or a lifetime… But he is right. ADD/ADHD-kids need to train social skills and executive function perhaps alongside taking medication. W/out the training taking meds can only go so far.
