Such a great vlog. As part of my Master of Counselling here in Australia, we begin practicing our skills in class within the first week and continue throughout our degree. Additionally, we go into the recording studios at least once per semester and record a skills demonstration which we then write a critical reflection of. This semester we are using Zoom as our recording device (not as secure as the recording studios). Practice is SO essential and I have found being provided with a high quality demonstration is so important to my understanding of how to apply skills. Sometimes I just need to ‘see’ it.
