What Clothes Go With Socks And Lace-Up Boots?

Sock boots are versatile and can be paired with various outfits for different occasions. They can be worn with a cashmere sweater, silk blouse, or white cotton t-shirt in spring, a leather jacket, flowered dress in summer, or a long coat or trench coat in winter. Lace-up combat boots, available in black, white, cream, toffee, and beige, are a popular choice for edgy footwear.

Sock boots are perfect for casual-style lace-up outfits, such as the Knit Pleated Hem Mini Dress by Givenchy and Stuart Weitzman’s Sleek Suede Sock Booties. They can also be combined with dresses, skirts, and light trousers for a classic and comfortable look. For off-duty outfits, light blue tie-dye crew-neck t-shirt and light blue ripped skinny jeans can be a great combination. Black sock boots are a safe choice for those seeking a slim silhouette, and they can be paired with 7/8 wool pants, slim or straight cut jeans.

For a more casual and trendy look, wear lace-up boots with chinos or khakis for a stylish and modern look. In cold weather, fold thick wool socks over the ankle boot to create a cozy look. Sock boots can be a versatile and affordable option for any outfit, regardless of budget.

  • I first came across this brand because Audrey Coyne has a pair, and I’ve looked at several different brands and styles for myself but keep coming back to these (probably in the Black Coffee colour way) because they look so much like my style and I just haven’t had that vibe from anything else I’ve seen. What colour are yours? They look so good with everything you’ve shown here, and I love your style (clothing and presentation both!) I’m glad I’ve found you as early in your YouTube journey as I have, although it does mean I don’t have a back catalogue of articles to watch!

  • What do you think about brown boots with cool grays? I love to wear lots of gray. I liked the black pants with the brown boots! And I’ve definitely heard the “rule” about brown and black before. I guess one of your outfits had the blue dress and gray scarf. I love blues and grays, and sometimes have a hard time convincing myself that brown can look good with them

  • Hi, friend! ❤✨ Shoes are the one area of fashion where I really struggle (and basically the one area of my capsule wardrobe that I still really need to fix.) I have a pair of black Doc Martens that I love, a pair of black loafers, and a pair of chunky white sneakers. Other than those 3 shoes, I am completely lost as to what shoes would add interest to my outfits while still being versatile enough for my capsule wardrobe. Unfortunately, I live in a tropical climate, so realistically I need more open-toed shoes even though they are not my favorite style! Though I will say, most of my pieces in my capsule are from Doen (like 3 dresses and 6 shirts or so are from Doen, my capsule has like 10 shirts and 5 dresses for reference). So maybe I will look at Doen shoes since they are made to “go” with Doen clothing pieces. Another new struggle for me is I just changed jobs from a job where I had a uniform to a job where I can wear my own clothing….super excited for that! I love the way you styled your boots with more feminine pieces. I love doing that with my black Doc Martens. Did you have a good holiday season? I hope you and your loved ones are safe and well, and hopefully 2021 will be better for all of us. 😇 Btw, the color of your sweater is EVERYTHING.
