To change a character’s clothes in Episode, simply switch their current outfit for another one. Typically, characters should change outfits off-screen to avoid appearing to “pop” into the new outfit. To create outfits for your characters, tap “Outfits” under Step 2 and select “New Outfit”. Once you have created the outfits for the scene or chapter, go to your script editor by tapping on your current chapter on your story page.

To avoid mirroring, it is recommended to customize MC’s features symmetrical. After creating a character, you can design their appearance at any time and choose from the dropdown menus for various types of outfits.
You can purchase outfits from pop-up shops with gems or from episode officials, which sometimes sell them. To change an outfit, use @CHAR previews outfit outfit3 and unpreviews outfit outfit3. To get started, go to your story page of the story you want to add an outfit to and tap on “Outfits”. Double-check if you spell the outfit name correctly. If the outfit doesn’t change into a pink outline, it may be a typo.
