Conventional life-styles are defined by cultural and social norms passed down through generations, encompassing expectations of family dynamics, profession paths, and societal expectations. Modern lifestyles are heavily influenced by technology and individualistic approaches, while traditional lifestyles are often more communal and focused on cultural norms and values. There are five conventional lifestyles that are not wrong with choosing for yourself: 1. Having an affinity for something physical; 2. Marriage at a young age; 3. Traditional.
Conventional wisdom consists of widely accepted beliefs or ideas that people commonly accept as true without much questioning or critical analysis. Examples include going crazy things, working weird jobs, gaining super powers, making money, and investing early in one’s future. A conventional or unconventional life experience is yours to choose, and it is not a one-time all-or-nothing choice.
Life is unpredictable, and conventional thinking can be thought poison that freezes the mind, limits progress, and prevents you from living the life you really want. If you have spent your entire life trying to make the conventional life work for you and are not happy, consider alternative lifestyles.
Conventional family life refers to the pattern of responses most often provided by respondents who represent the core of “middle Australia”. Precision medicine tailors healthcare to your unique profile, and healthy life signals such as eating right, keeping fit, sleeping well, and avoiding signals that sap our vitality are healthy life signals that maintain our metabolic health.

📹 “Organic Foods Vs Conventional: Which is Better?”
Organic Foods Vs Conventional: Which is Better? Are organic foods really better for your health? Or is conventional just as …
My granny said over 50 years ago that the food was killing us. I took a nutrition class once and the instructor said to get the same nutrients from 1 cup of spinach grown in the 1950’s I’d have to eat the equivalent of 10 cups now. Add in the pesticides, water pollution, soil depletion and genetically altered….Granny was right.
I am from Poland and let me tell you one thing: before joining EU, our food was way better. There was no such thing like organic. Everything in the shop was from small local farmers, and there was no plastic at all. Water, lemonade and all other drinks were in glass bottles. Meat was bought and wrapped in paper. Many farmers were using natural fertilizers and compost. People were fermenting a lot of food for winter (I still do this). Bread was real and made from flour, yeast (or sourdough) + some sugar (honey) and was filling. You could buy raw milk and dairy NP. Today everything is done through industrial farming or brought from countries like Netherlands (greenhouse tomatoes, strawberries and so on).
A mild baking soda and vinegar rinse, soaking your fruits and veggies in fully submerging them in that rinse for 10 to 15 minutes & rinsing them clean, will take off 90% of the pesticides. I think it’s EXTREMELY important to find ways to accommodate those who can’t afford eating organic food all the time.
A former colleague of mine imports vegetables from India into the United States. He tells me that the list of approved USDA Organic pesticides is very lenient when compared to India or anywhere else in the world for that matter. A lot of them chemicals that are passed as “organic” are actually somewhat harmful. Unfortunately you’re going to eat some chemicals if you buy mass produced veggies in the the U.S.
Let’s get real. Food is expensive and almost everything is inedible, due to pesticides or artificial ingredients used. It’s hard to make healthy choices these days because practically everything is polluted, contaminated, fumigated, genetically modified, enriched unnecessarily, preservatives and chemicals added to increase shelf life SO WHAT THE HELL ARE WE SUPPOSED TO EAT? I guess cabbage and cauliflower are ok just be ready to repel few people too. But honestly THANK YOU for your hard work in educating us all desperate shoppers with such interesting information. Bon Appetite ya’ll!
We are blessed to live on 30 acres where we have two gardens where we grow lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, asparagus, cabbage, peppers (several varieties), green beans, zucchini, yellow squash, green beans, corn, potatoes, strawberries, watermelon, and pumpkins. Have apple and peach trees, too. We use absolutely no pesticides or commercial fertilizers (we have horses, so lots of manure). Other than a few bananas we rarely buy any produce. Eggs, chicken, beef, and pork all come from neighboring farms where we know what they’re fed and how they’re raised (no antibiotics, and grass-fed finished with grain). Bake lots of pies and zucchini bread/pumpkin bread that also freeze well. We donate a lot of produce to our church that distributes it along with weekly food boxes to those in our community who are in need. But most people can grow at least a few things, even if you live in an apartment. Tomatoes and peppers grow easily in containers, as do herbs and onions. Go to farmers’ markets or visit farm stands. You’d be surprised how much cheaper you can often get truly fresh veggies right from the source.
Buy from your local farmer or local community garden as opposed to the big box grocery stores if and when possible. If you are fortunate to have access to a plot of land, try to plant the basic essential fruits and veggies where you can. It saves alot of money and you have better control over what chemicals are sprayed onto crops as well as soil quality. 😊
Almost all “organic” crops have been treated with pesticides. The only way to not have pesticides in your food is to grow it yourself. Rinsing under water removes a good bit of pesticides. Also, even with washing with plain water, eating fresh foods and limited processed foods are significantly better for you. “Organic” and “non-gmo” are excuses for uncharging you. Really boils down to whether or not you buy locally because freshness is the only thing to ultimately worry about
The quality of the soil on conventional farms is lacking in comparison to organic farms. Poor quality soil = poor quality produce, factor in the pesticide residue and the overall willingness to mix poisons into the food-chain. It is a no brainer, what type of produce someones body would prefer. The more people that demand organic, the more organic produce will be on the market, making it more affordable.
Uh my therapist actually has a client if hers that works in farms that our produce comes from and the organic is grown in the same field as the conventional. He told her it’s a way for them to charge more. I will admit though certain things organic do tast better. But I got to do the best I can with the budget I have to live a healthier lifestyle so conventional it is.
It took me a long time to justify fitting organic into our budget, then I came across a article that spoke about high much higher the vitamin and mineral content is! It changed a lot of my perspective on things and may be worth doing a article on the topic. In any case, when I buy organic, I try to buy from local farmers.
Anyone want to break it to this guy that the organic label means absolutely nothing and even working at a supermarket myself when I was younger, they just split the veggies and fruits into separate piles and put the organic label on one half and not the other. Why? Because almost all of the pesticides that are banned for the organic label are also federally banned from usage as well making everything basically fall into the organic label requirements. The label itself is just a marketing ploy that businesses pay extra for in order to seriously upcharge their products. You can literally look this up and while there is a serious push to increase the standards of organic labels, it hasn’t been passed by Congress yet. This guy is just speaking a lot of hot garbage for views and sponsors 💰 by preying on people’s ignorance. *Also USDA approved doesn’t mean much either as those regulations are a joke.
So what do we do? Asking because I’ve pretty much given up on eating. This is NOT sarcasm. Everything in the article I’m already aware of, which is why I find it difficult to shop in any American grocery store. The soil has been depleted of its nutrients & American produce is tasteless. It’s difficult to eat a balanced nutritious meal. What is the solution?
The orange bell pepper is ( in california ) available in the organic section and is also GMO.. the sticker is 5 digits 93_ _ _ … Yellow, green and red bell peppers are listed 94_ _ _ indicating they are not altered / gmo’d There are now many fruits and veggies in the organic section that are bioengineered. Also quite troubling is that crispR modified foods ( also gene editing ) do not have to have any labels at all. So you will find modified apples and other produce throughout grocery stores. Pray over your food. Believe in Jesus to be saved.
Clean and “dirty” lists are based on number of different pesticides, not how toxins they are. I wish there were a study that actually reflected HOW MUCH of a toxic load each piece of produce has, rather than simply how many… Also, worrying about fruits and veggies is literally the LAST place to start cleaning up your diet. Organic meat and dairy is WAY more important!!! I wish people would add this caveat ❤hen speaking of the “dangers” of conventional produce. It’s still the best thing to eat. Period.
I’m laughing at “USDA organic” pesticides 😂 I completely agree that you should buy organic when possible for the “thin skinned” fruit and veggies, but let’s not discourage people who can’t afford organic. After all is said, he still says “It’s still sprayed” The USDA cares none about peoples health, only regulations, so I doubt that “organic pesticide” is better. L. O. L.
Honestly, I barely wash my fruits. But I do drink yogurt every single day at work to build up my gut health. The human body is extremely resilient. Some people live with 100+ lbs of excess body weight for years, which isn’t good at all, but gives you an idea of how resilient the body is. Because you know internally they’re compromised but their body keeps going. I just pick the freshest I see these days and don’t worry so much about organic. Especially with today’s prices! Buy what’s freshest and in your budget. Interesting, the organic stuff typically doesn’t look as fresh. Especially fruits!
USDA is paid and bought for by big industry. It’s only going to get worse. Monsanto and Cargill have already bought up 30% of the agricultural lands in Ukraine (the richest farmlands in the world). USA is spearheading a corporate takeover of the entire industrial sector of Ukraine, followed by the political and finally military sector. Just like there has been a corporate takeover of politics and it’s regulators in the US already. Look into ‘regulatory capture’, Monsanto especially has it’s tentacles everywhere its like a dystopian fiction, except real.
If u can’t afford organic, simply buy conventional, but either way, u should soak produce in baking soda & water solution for 15 mins to break down any chemicals that may be inside. Depending on the pesticide, vinegar would work as well as the vinegar will help u digest & assimilate nutrients from the produce better. Happy eating!
cant win. You have to know this stuff, and no one buy a super small number of people are teaching it I remember hearing a news report on the radio and about the “advances” of food growing. They bragged about genetically modifying our fruits and veggies, making the bigger, and talked it up as a benefit. This was the late 80’s or early 90s
Watch the trucks. Know the ones with openings across the top of the back part? That’s because the produce is being sprayed with ammonia. The holes prevent the truck from blowing up from contained ammonia fumes. Does your grocery have those misters over the produce? Try getting some of that liquid on your fingers. You can feel that it’s not just water, it’s ammonia water.
It’s all so depressing. I’m in a food desert in uptown Manhattan and there’s basically no organic produce available around here, except for some frozen fruits. Otherwise, I have to get on the subway and shlep my shopping cart up and down the subway stairs and on the subway itself, or on the bus. Added expense and time, although good exercise, I will admit.❤️
It’s organic only if the PLU Sticker starts with the number 9 If not it can be organic but the spray used is not completely organic it’s a mixture Bobby I just downloaded your app it works well I also had my friend across the country also download So keep it up you and your family are amazing Thank you
You can’t live in a bubble 💭 and eat everything organic. I know people in their late 80s s and even 90& s, and they don’t eat ( organic)! Just eat a well balanced diet, exercise, and don’t be to abusive to your body( smoking, drinking, too much). In the end genes, play a major part in longevity, not organic, or trendy, foods.
None of this is even relevant if you’re in poor physical shape and regularly eat shitty food. Produce, sprayed with either conventional or organic pesticide, will have absolutely zero effect on a poor and unhealthy lifestyle. And just so you know: a Stanford meta-analysis of 280 studies on organic produce found no difference in organic vs conventional produce, aside from the fact that organic produce contains 10x the amount of pesticides on average. Luckily these pesticides, organic or conventional, will not hurt you at all unless you can eat thousands of pounds of produce in about an hour. This dirty dozen and clean fifteen stuff is throughly debunked bullshit designed to sell you more expensive produce. Being healthy is determined by your relationship to food and exercise. Specific foods or food types will not change that in the slightest. Be smart and don’t buy this crap.
So just so your aware just because it is approved USAD approved organic doesnt mean its good. They can also use synthetic fertilizer on organic foods. There is no possible way to keep insects off your fruits / veggies without using some type of chemical spray on them. You would know this if you have ever grown your own food.
Wash and peel your food if necessary and always pray over all food and/or anything that’s consumed by the body. Your drinks and grooming products should contain no harmful ingredients. But, in my opinion, no foods nowadays are truly ‘organic’ . Nowadays, if you want a truly organic food supply you’ve gotta grow your own food (and purchase seeds from a good supplier) or purchase food from a highly credible, caring and conscientious food source. I consumed mostly home grown fruits and vegetables while growing up in Ohio, and I noticed sometime ago in the 90s that the fruits and vegetables have no life force energy. The food growing methods and techniques do not render the same maximum nutritional quality. Back in the day when you ate fresh uncooked vegetables and fruit you felt an immediate energy burst that hit your body like a little short shock… that’s the life force energy being transferred from the food to you… That doesn’t happen anymore because they are removing it when they radiate the fruit and some vegetables. The food quality isn’t the same… which is why nowadays you’ve gotta eat much more in order to receive the daily recommended nutritional value. So, in my humble opinion, there’s nothing truly organic nowadays.
I would love to buy organic all the time but its so expensive. For a carton of strawberries it was $5.. it was one dollar at my produce place a couple months ago.. organic its $8 a carton.. blu blueberries are even more expensive for less. its just unobtainable for most people to eat 100% organic right now. Which sucks bc its our health and our kids health.. but its either electric bill.. or organic basically
Best choice of produce if you can find it is “pesticide free” because it should be exactly that..free of pesticides.(& is usually grown by someone locally but without the certification labels) where as “certified organic” means that they have been certified to use a smaller selection than conventionally grown produce.which isnt great either. Its more of a status symbol for some to say they paid exhorborant prices for “organic” produce.but still better than “conventionally” grown.
As someone who has been growing plants organically for 23 years, I can say that organic pesticides and even nutrients can be just as bad or worse than chemical pesticides. For example, if someone uses rock dust to add minerals to their soil, that rock dust could literally have radiation attached to it from where it was mined. It’s organic, but not good. A better choice would be azomite. It adds minerals to the soil in the same way, but it’s procured from volcanic ash. That is a much better and cleaner source. Bottom line, sadly, you have to really know the grower and their practices. You could have someone using chemical pesticides and chemical nutrients, and they may actually have a safer and cleaner product then someone growing organic and vice versa. Growing plants indoors hydroponically is something that comes to mind, extremely safe, because no pesticides are ever used. But, they are fed a chemical feed.
Bobby think all are rich like him. No understanding that good food high and most can’t afford. Why doesn’t he work on lowering cost to big business so more people are healthy instead of pandering to large corporations Processed and chemical laden food kills over time. An injustice done to us all but the cost too high to use healthy products in manufacturing of food and the profit is their God they worship.
The crazy thing with people is that they pay attention to organic, but buy heavily processed junk and don’t pay attention to ingredients on packages. Thank you for always teaching but next time please tell these people about how certain produce absorbs pesticides because people are out here thinking washing solves the problem so thats how they justify getting all inorganic produce. You have to be very clear to these people..
You forgot grapes: they are right there with strawberries, and raspberries, blackberries, cherries and many other soft fruit/berries – the pesticides penetrate through the skin. Mangoes, apples and pears get sprayed quite a lot, too. I still eat the sprayed stuff, the cost and is is not worth it if worrying about physical and financial health do me in, instead.
Are there any other pesticides besides chemical pesticides? How can you have a pesticide that isn’t a chemical? It is hard for me to take anybody seriously who can’t even understand what the simple concept of a chemical is. He doesn’t even explain why a “organic pesticide” is any better than any other kind of pesticide.
Organic food go’s though less rigorous testing along with the organic fertilisers and pesticides compaierd to non organic, plus most organic producers don’t let anything they use or produce be tested as they put sanctions and such the like, all because they believe that just because it’s organic its automatically safe, which is incorrect as arsenic is organic but deadly poisonous.
Bell pepers in europe need near no pesticides. strawberry YES kale hell yes as they are a pain to gow outdoors.green beans need no pestides at all i grow them yearly and nothing touched them lol. i think you need to redo some research. i have gron over 150 types of fruit and veggies so far and most gets by just fine without any pest controll. cabbages are absolutely a target for pests for example
God is in control and sees the evil that is going on. What the demonic kingdom doing for evil, God doing for God. Overcoming evil with God is the best. Be on the lookout. Man is not over God. Man can do all types of pervading actions under the influence of the demonic kingdom but God still in charge of his kingdom be done on earth as it is in heaven.
