Rewatching these scenes many years later, I confess I find chucky’s horrific screeching in pain one of the most realistic things about this movie, and one of the most disturbing. Don’t get the wrong impression, I still think chucky is a little bastard who deserves every second of it, but it’s very realistic, and a small detail horror movies sometimes forget.
