  • High energy kids usually have low energy parents. My niece has so much energy, it’s a work out trying to match her energy. My nephew is a little bit more chill, he just wants to be apart of the fun and make fart noises. But all of my nieces and nephews love rocket ship when I hurl them up in the air and spin em around. Gosh, kids are fun.

  • i’m amazing with kids, they always end up looking up to me/find me their friend which is because i find it very easy to act like a child myself… adults and older people, i struggle. there’s expectation and social rules. kids they don’t give a fuck about anything so you can say whatever and do whatever you want

  • I feel like I am getting more socially awkward (as I get older) especially at work and would rather be more reserved or stick to safe subjects. Could it be because I am not putting myself in as many social situations like in my teens or early twenties, so less practice? I get on well with kids and babies almost always seem to like me too…but that might be to do with my high pitch voice, lol.

  • I think it’s more so because there’s a stigma in western culture. When a man is seen interacting with children in such a way, it raises eye brows and suspicions from some people which makes it uncomfortable and you want to stop. I’ve noticed from studying past western culture the contrast. Back 60 years ago if your son was going fishing with the old man from the grocery store, that would be a perfectly acceptable occurrence. Today if you hear that your son went fishing with the old man from the grocery store, instant red flag. Sad world we live in with no trust now.
