  • When I was perusal Stephen Colbert and saw he had Werner Herzog on as a guest…I was shouting at the screen; ‘Please do Seth Meyers’ show…please just for the love he & us jackals have for you and your whole German spiel!!’ I don’t mind if Werner doesn’t “get” Stephen…it will be just unadulterated fun 🥳for Seth🤩🤣.

  • Seth, you absolutely don’t need to wear suits again! You look so much more comfortable in the more casual clothes and they look great! Seeing you in a suit now it honestly a bit jarring after so much time. The casual clothes reminds me of lockdown and when I truly fell in love with this show more than ever. Of course the suits look great but I’d stick with the casual!

  • i love the show so much but as someone who has trans people in my life it’s so conflicting to watch these interviews. I’m still hurt that John Mulaney had on Dave Chapelle as a surprise opening to his show. I know John and Seth are REALLY CLOSE and John didn’t do anything blatantly transphobic but ugh. It’s such a gut punch to have Elliot Page come on and talk about being trans and what that’s meant for him and then the next day, the NEXT DAY have someone come on who was recently called out for giving a self-proclaimed transphobe a platform. I really don’t even want to post this comment because I really don’t want Seth to actually read this comment and leave a bad taste in his mouth because I really do appreciate what he does.

  • My dog is the ultimate opossum hunter, unfortunately, bc once she gets one it’s a mess, and we have to finish the job to end their suffering. It’s not like we just let her go in the woods, they climb the top of our fence.. and she doesn’t want to let go bc they’re like her toys. I do have to say, opossum babies are adorable, and no she hasn’t gotten one of those.

  • With all deferance to John Mulaney, (who is an absolute icon of comedy,) I think wearing a suit is ridiculous. There is nothing at all inherently better about a suit. It’s traditional, and has been for a few decades. You might as well argue that lobster is the only way to have good food, or that NBC is the only company that gives reliable news coverage. There’s nothing wrong with either, and they’re both well established, but that doesn’t mean they’re the only version of good. Rock out in your jeans and simple shirt. You look just as good in that as you did with the suit and tie. All that said, wearing a shirt and tie with the collar flipped out, the tie loose, and the top button un-done for half the interview made my eye twitch so bad that I almost bled from my nose like Eleven flipping a van, as I willed you to fix it. Don’t DO THAT!

  • Yeah, I’m too familiar with Casual Seth to go back to “Generic Late Show Host Suit Seth” Colbert pulls off both looks well, Kimmel oddly enough only looks the part in a suit, Fallon… well Fallon is still on the air reportedly… Trevor Noah needs a suit hands down; he still almost looks too young to be the headliner though, like he’s actually a writer or an intern that sneaks onto set after work and is imagining what could be one day… But Seth just has the casual look kind of face/personality that makes it work and feel special. Even if the general theme of the show is the same as the Before Times, Casual Seth just feels more natural and in the zone than Suit Seth Conan’s casual style has/had more of a “sad & lonely recently divorced dad” look…

  • Mulaney is filling out a little, and also actually showing subtle signs of aging under his eyes. Not saying this in any kind of negative way – just that he’s always been famous for looking eternally young. I like that he’s looking a little more “grown up” these days. He’s been through a lot, and I’m happy for him.

  • I love Seth – he, the show, and Amber Ruffin got me through some truly dark times during and after lockdown – but he really let me down in this interview. Seth demonstrated why so many people struggle to trust Nice White Men™️ allies: he’s happy to hold Trump & Co. accountable for supporting & elevating transphobes, but he’s unwilling to ask his old friend Mulaney why he decided to support and elevate an explicitly avowed transphobe (Chappelle). It was disappointing AF to see Mulaney do that, but it was more disappointing to see Seth refuse to hold his bro accountable.

  • I hate to do this but calling the possum and opossum cousins is wrong. They’re from entirely different families with the australian possums being more closely related to kangaroos. The south and north american opossum belonging in the Family Didelphidae and australian possums belonging in Phalangeridae. It would be like calling the echidna and platypus cousins. Yes theyre both monotremes and both each other closest relative but how about you try long and short beaked echidnas as close relatives and then the platypus as gods hideous mistake. Love the show, wear what makes ya comfortable. Im glad my zoology degree can finally be used. Ps i know its nitpicky but john pronounced brisbane wrong. Its pronounced brisbin like bin chicken

  • Possums are more common in suburbia than any of the other Australian animals you’ve probably heard of. I have a family living in my ceiling. They’re cute. They’re not afraid of people. They have razor sharp claws which can spread diseases. That’s Australia for you. Even the cute and friendly animals are kind of dangerous.

  • i am not a fan of this version of john mulaney who is obsessed with his son, to be honest. now it is all he posts about and talks about? are his shows just about his son, too?? having written that, though, the overall john mulaney fan in me is bummed these articles of the interview have such low views.

  • Can you stop hosting transphobic comedians? Please stop giving problematic men like John Mulaney a platform for his hatred. Maybe, as a friend, you can chat with him about how problematic his transphobic jokes are, and tell him that you can be a comedian without discrimination. It’s not funny when trans folks are killed everyday for being trans.

  • May the peace and mercy of God be upon you. To the merciful hearts, may God protect you. I am a Palestinian mother from the Gaza Strip, a widow, and a mother of children who have no helper. Praise be to God. In any case, I ask the doers of good to help my children in dire necessity. Doing good. May God protect you and take care of you. From everywhere, unfortunately, inside the picture is my phone and access to my children. Have mercy on those on earth, have mercy on you from those in heaven. I wish from my Lord, a benefactor, who will have mercy on a needy family.
