  • I’ve found that a classic trench with a zip-out liner is pretty perfect for late winter into early spring in NYC. Mine is Burberry, and even on chilly, damp days between the liner and a sweater, I’ve been totally comfortable without having to take up valuable room in luggage with a second coat. I’ve even gone to Scotland in February/March with the Burberry and a couple of sweaters (one turtleneck, one cardigan), and been totally comfy. I personally prefer a flat or wedge heeled boot when I know I’ll be doing a lot of walking – those crosstown blocks in the City are soooo long – but that’s just me. I’d add a midi-length black skirt in a fine wool knit so it has movement and won’t wrinkle, and a couple of very simple button front silk blouses (one cream, one in a color) that can be dressed up or down with jewelry or a beautiful silk scarf. If a visitor to the City doesn’t own a really lovely scarf, I suggest that she visit the shop at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and treat herself to one. – beautiful, classic, and a souvenir that will last for decades.

  • Great article! Very informative! I would love to go back to New York City to visit the city again. Last time I went was when I was in College many years ago. My teenage daughter would love to visit the city too. We are in Dallas right now so it is a bit far. I am french by the way and I love the vlogs you did from Paris. My sister who lives in Paris is very much into fashion like you.

  • I love the growth and seeing how comfortable and confident you have become 💜🐿👸💜 I am wishing you the very best for your future 💜🐿💜love your style and I have to say you look beautiful in everything but the blue color 💙 makes you look gorgeous! Loved that blue dress 👗 Cinderella vives! As always, best regards 🥀 Miss. Lilly 🥀
