Ridge has some quality issues that need to be addressed… The fact it has not been addressed by now is insane. The issue is cards rubbing against each other over time does destroy them. I’ve replaced my bank cards and credit cards several times and even my I.D. now because of it. I bought a super basic minimalist leather card holder from Vionentus and the difference in quality is huge, not speaking about the price which is 1\\5 but the build\\finish is better. Just proof that paying more doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a higher quality.
The ridge is like most companies trying to “reinvent the wheel” nowadays. I mean they did an okay job with the wallet, but they did an amazing job when it came to advertising the product. I personally wouldn’t buy because I hate the idea of folding my cash then pulling it out and showing possible theifs my bills.
This is why I went with Ekster. While ridge has the option for carbon or titanium (nice), Eksters main body easily holds up to six cards if only one is embossed, and these six are instantly fanned out with the press of a button. The side expansion will easily hold another 10+. You could probably hold 20 cards with the thing, with the six most commonly used available fanned with the push of a button.
I think I will stick with a traditional style wallet for many reasons. Mine cost £25 and has lasted nearly 4 years (it’s not leather either), it holds change, my notes are safer inside a wallet as opposed to held by a small strap or clip on the outside, it has cost me nothing to fix as the only part that went was the popper that holds it together and I just glued it back together with some glue I had knocking around the house and it’s also easier to find my cards and I hate faffing around in shops.

The Ridge Wallet is too expensive. It’s a waste of money. I’ve been using a slim, minimalist faux-leather wallet that holds all of my cards and has a clear spot for my driver’s license. the thing for me about those types of wallets when you’re carrying cash is its always awkward if you have sort of a mix of different bills and have to basically pull all your cash out right on the spot so you can sort out the bills you need to hand over. My typical leather wallet got worn out so I found this more minimalist wallet on Amazon. It is like a typical wallet, but uses a money clip instead of little slots for the money. I wasn’t holding too much money to begin with, so it wasn’t a difficult transition. The clip is kind of difficult to use, but I mainly keep it for receipts so it’s not too bad. I’m also glad it has normal slots for cards, so I know where my cards are and don’t have to shuffle through each time. I thought about Ridge, but seeing as how you’d need to shuffle through them each time, I’m glad I don’t have to, since it wouldn’t fit my use case.

For real dude? I’ve owned 2 wallets over the past 30 years. They were like 20-30 bucks each. They also have the added feature of holding cash and receipts. It also provides me with the ability to flash my ID without having to remove it. This thing is bad for embossed cards? Soooooo, it’s bad for any card that I’d use to buy stuff? Also, if you use a key card to access your office building, parking garage, etcetera, you can put that in your leather wallet (provided you don’t sandwich it in between other cards) and BOOM! Your wallet is now a key fob. No chance this $130 metal thing will do that. You’d use this metal thing for some cards, a money clip for your cash and your access cards can just float around awkwardly in your pockets. Or, I guess you can fumble around with them every time you need access. The more I think this through, the more I think you might need to buy a purse to carry around all this stuff. I’ve had my Ridge wallet now for a few years and I still love it. I don’t ever have an issue fanning through my cards. I don’t normally carry cash but there haven’t been any problems when I do have some cash on me. None of my cards are embossed so that’s not a problem. It’s durable, too. Won’t be replacing it anytime soon.
while i havnt used the redge wallet i have a Miniwallet from secrid. it holds 4-6 cards that you can push up, when you do so they “fan out” so you easily can pick the card you want. it also has room for 4 cards inside the leather exterior. if you are thinking of buying something like the ridge go look at the wallets secrid have as they have 5 different wallets to suit your needs. also i love your reveiws
I found one of these on the side of the road once(no cards inside). I started using it after cleaning it thoroughly, and at first it was cool. But then after a few weeks I started to notice lots of wear on my cards. Anyways, I got tired of it and put it up for sale on Facebook. Low and behold the previous owner recognized it, named the area I found it. So I gave it right back to him. I got a free trail, and he got his expensive wallet back.
The reason wallets are large and made from thick leather: 1. Hard to pickpocket, remains tight in pocket, making it hard to fall out of pocket. 2. Holds a VARIABLE (small-large) amount of bills. 3. Hides your bills. This wallet is: 1. Easy as F to steal or lose. 2. Holds next to no bills. 3. Exposes all your bills for everyone to see. I highly recommend sticking with the tried and true wallet. Been using the titanium one for about two years now. Did not buy one because you tubers were promoting them but because the idea and design is very simplistic. I keep 4-5 cards in there and you get used to just pushing them out and finding the right one. Very small and comfortable to carry every day. I bought a knock off carbon fiber one from Drop for about $13 because I couldn’t justify spending $70 on a revolutionary (to me) wallet that I might not even like. Well, I lived with it for almost a year and the design really grew on me. Sometimes I forget I even have my wallet because it’s so light and thin and small. I only have about 5 cards in my wallet, 3 are embossed. It’s not really an issue with the numbers getting caught, there’s a certain (though not at all difficult) way to put your cards back in, you kinda need to put it in at an angle and go from the bottom to the top of your card stack. Fast forward to Christmas of 2020 and my girlfriend’s parents get me a genuine Ridge wallet in matte black. It’s more stylish, marginally thinner but noticeably higher quality all around. The screws are Torx heads instead of Philips, and they are machined almost perfectly flush with no bowing in the surface due to over-tightening during manufacturing. The elastic bands feel more durable and like they won’t permanently outstretch. The money clip is firmer and feels more secure. The matte finish doesn’t feel like it’s going to scratch and neither will the laser etched logo. I have no doubts about the RFID blocking ability on this one, meanwhile I was hesitant with the knock-off one. I would recommend that you get a cheap one if you’re interested in trying this, and then decide if you like it or not. If you really like it and decide you want something with fine craftsmanship, get a genuine Ridge wallet.
Very nice review. I appreciate the comparison to the knock-offs, as I wouldn’t buy the Ridgeline but had considered the cheaper alternatives as a test-drive. I’m sticking with my well-worn leather trifold, which has been serving me for around a decade at this point and is now soft and smoothed enough to be comfortable in my back pocket when sitting or for front-pocket carry, and provides all of the additional advantages of such a wallet for carrying a variety of types of credit cards, reward cards, ID cards, insurance verification, cash, notes, you name it. Its color and structure have also held up well enough that it still looks attractive when I need to retrieve things from it in front of people.
I had a ridge wallet for a week, and due to the tightness, my cards were scratched to a point where my magnetic stripes on some cards no longer work. Also the point of the raised lettering cards like majority of credit cards is extremely valid. Overall, this wallet was more about form than function and nor worth the 75 dollars imo.. For now, ill stick to my traditional wallet.
Can help but notice that you didn’t talk about the cash-holding aspect of the wallet. For a minimalist (albeit aesthetic) having to fold your money doesn’t sound right, will just takes more time, what if you want to pay for some hot dogs for a few small bucks, but your 1 dollar bills is folded together with bigger bill, you need to unfold it, hold the bill you don’t use, take the hot dog with your right hands, take the change with your left hands, folds all your money back and slide it between the clip or straps somehow using only one hand
So you need to assemble the damn thing when it arrives, screws loosen overtime so you need to screw them tight occasionally, only holds a few cards, it’s a hassle to get cards in and out, scratches the cards overtime, cash clipped on the outside for everyone to see.. I bought the ridge wallet, I even paid the extra to be fly with the carbon fiber. I tried to use it, for 2 months and it was pure garbage. It was uncomfortable with it in my back pocket and i started to carry it in my front pocket. Its hard, doesnt flex and was unbearable to carry. The elastic was stiff and after 2 months the elastic broke and wouldn’t hold my cards. I asked for a refund and they would not return my money cause it was damaged. Im a Physicians Assistant so im not hard on my wallet, it was just a waste of $125. Find another wallet other than the ridge.
I received a Ridge Wallet for Christmas. I really like it compared to previous bifold and trifold wallets I have owned. It does take some getting used to when accessing your credit cards. The two cards I use most are on the outside, and less frequently used cards are in the middle. Given that my previous wallets were designer name brands, I feel $75-$125 is a reasonable price for a wallet. Truth be told, I almost bought it for myself, but thought I should wait till after Christmas. You know, season of giving and stuff.
What I’ve heard about the aluminium version is that they get scuffed real easy. All it takes is it impacting with something hard, once. I don’t know much about the titanium or similar tier, but the carbon version does not scuff very easily and even when it does, it’s not very noticeable. As an example. Let’s say you’re buying something at a market outside and fumble the wallet when taking it out of your pockets. A drop from that height on pavement WILL scuff the aluminium version, but not the carbon version.
I love my carbon fiber Ridge Wallet. I’m always looking for the most minimal wallet possible because I hate having things in my pockets. I also tend to use Google Pay absolutely everywhere I can, and rarely actually take my wallet out. I did have to get used to the added inconvenience of retrieving cards from the wallet, but I actually found an easier method that wasn’t touched on in this article. If you push the cards up then squeeze the two plates together at the bottom the cards will actually fan apart at the top allowing you to grab the one you need.
This wallet is perfect for me since I’m serve in the military. I never carry cash so I use the metal strap for my front pocket. I also don’t agree with having to look for you cards. If you use it long enough you’ll have a routine where you put the specific cards on the same place like ID or debit to the outside and misc. towards the middle.

So, the three knock-offs cost less than a single ridge wallet and the only trade off is that you have to manually bend a clip and that the edges aren’t as nice? Why would people pay more for less features. The point of not putting everything into one pocket is to personalize the placement of each item into each dividers. Its like saying a grocery bag has a more simplistic design and should be priced higher than a backpack with its complex collection of pockets and zippers. All look like industrial garbage to be honest. I usually carry 6-7 cards in my bi-fold wallet, and they all sit at the exact same spot so I can instantly locate the one I want to use. I can’t imagine having to shuffle through a deck of cards every time to find the card I need. Also most of my cards have stick out letters, which I’d imagine will rub against each other and prevent easy sliding, and this is NOT a “small problem” that can be easily overlooked, you will practically experience it every single time when you use a card. I have other Gerber money holders that are basically, new age buck knives with money clips . Oh and if I need style I have to alligator money clips. Made by dragon bone blades. My trifold wallet isn’t name brand and it was my dads before he passed in 2009. I’ve been using it ever since. Don’t want to ruin it so I’ve been looking at other options. While the ridge seems nice it just doesn’t do what a trifold does. Also I’ve seen studies that keeping a wallet in your back pocket can cause back/hip problems
I buy cheap leather wallets in the £10-15 range, they usually last me anywhere from 5 to 7 years, but I look at the ridge wallet and kinda came up with the same conclusion you did (but without wasting £100 on it), too many compromises, can’t hold receipts, photo’s, small change etc, I don’t have that many cards that I need an entire wallet for them, My bank card, drivers license, and a couple of loyalty/membership cards and a lock pick set.
I use SECRID wallet, made in Netherlands. It costed me 50€ and feels more comfortable than Ridge. Fits up to 6 cards which to my mind is enough. If you are planing on caring 15 cards, you will end up with chunky metal block which kind of defeats the purpose of having slim wallet. My advice to go with SECRID and prioritise cards that you will be actually using on daily basis.
I strongly suggest instead of this, go buy a leather wallet with a card insert. Discard or sell the wallet portion, keep the insert. Flip the insert in reverse so the plastic show portion and the slots are on the exteriors. Put your bus pass or id on the plastic window, your high use cards in the slot and all other cards in the pockets and carry cash in-between the inverted side.

This has to be the worst company ever. Their customer service department is a complete joke! My forged ember carbon wallet literally broke within a week of ownership. I have emailed them multiple times, sent DM’s and NO RESPONSE! I don’t even care about a refund just give me an exchange but nope they ignore all of my messages and I am completely pissed off. If they do not answer I’m going to take legal action. Spent 270$ for a ridge wallet cuz ads. Can safely say I miss the 30$ wallets from local stores. There’s just no beating them 😉 the wallet is heavy and cards rub down over time, wish they fixed this. I didn’t buy a ridge wallet cause I felt like it was overpriced. So I bought one from Amazon instead (NOT a knock off though), it’s called the “VULKIT”, costs $16.99 (U.S). It holds on avg 5 cards, which is not great, but I don’t need much space, and it has a slider that pops up the cards which is better than the Ridge. If you don’t have a lot of cards and you want something to hold a few cards, nevermind the VULKIT wallet I bought, search elsewhere in general besides the Ridge wallet. i have a knockoff ridge wallet and i just flick through the cards like the wallet is a book, i just pull it apart, flip through for the card, grab it, instead of going through the cards like a deck of cards. I’ve had it for over a year now and it has been through everything, yet the wear and tear is very acceptable and the elastic is holding up great! the money clip it has is perfect for holding onto a bit of cash, or even a gas card that has credit on it, or some reciepts, or even all 3! Ever since I transitioned from a bulky 3 fold wallet, I haven’t felt bogged down by my wallet. If my fake ridge does eventually break, I will definitely consider buying the real deal.
I’ve had my Ridge for a couple of years. Not worth the price. Esthetics of the Ridge are nice but my biggest gripe is how difficult it is the get cards out if you have more than 3 cards in there. I curse the wallet everything I go to the checkout. Going to buy a Grip6 wallet. They’re half the price and use a mechanical locking system that gives you access to your cards at the push of a button.
Not my idea of what a “wallet” is. This is a credit card holder and does what a cheap elastic band would do. It doesn’t even organize your cards. I only carry three cards one of which is a metro card but my wallet also carries my drivers license, picture of wife and kids, medicare card, a postage stamp and a folded paper ruler. The three sectioned money part is good for holding $1s in one section, $5&$10s in another, and $20s and above in the third. As American money is all the same size and color this stops me handing out the wrong bill. (How do blind people fare in the US?). Plus my leather wallet is soft so doesn’t wear a hole in my pockets. My wallets last over 10 years including being in swimming pools. Not sure what this expensive thing offers.
Eh. I’ve seen RIDGE advertised for years and finally looked up a YouTube article of someone not being paid to advertise the product. It doesn’t really look very functional as far as a wallet goes. It’s slim, which is nice, but I feel like the metal material is just a gimmick that ultimately creates an overpriced product that doesn’t actually offer very many features. No easy organization to cards, and I feel like keeping cards pressed so tightly together isn’t a good design choice.
Just purchased one. Used it for two days. Went from a Sterling silver business card holder that held my driver’s license my AAA, debit and credit card. Worked perfect for 10+ years. Birthday gifted a Ridge set. Worst product I’ve ever had to try to use. It’s not better. It destroys the mag strips on every card. Sharp edges destroyed my clothing. It’s a stupid idea.
I refuse to believe that a $75 (cheapest option) card holder (without a card sliding function/lever (or whatever it’s called) mind you) is better than a $40 card holder with a slider, rfid block, blablabla all included. And I’m not talking about some cheap Amazon alternative, ofc that’s gonna feel cheap… To anyone who buys Ridge, you’re getting robbed.
DO NOT SIT ON YOUR WALLET! You will give yourself sciatic nerve pain in the future! Every day, hour, minute, that you are sitting on something being pushed up against your butt, all of that time adds up and pushes on your nerve and can lead to a seriously intense, painful problem. I had to go to a physical therapist to get it fixed. I have since stopped putting anything in my back pocket, and have ceased having any issues.
Anyone who starts a sentence with “I am going to be honest” is most likely a liar. Honest people never have to specify when we are being honest. I’ve had my FILA wallet for 25 years, it cost me 50 NOK, like 4 USD.. It has a burn mark on it from me making a joint on it, but that’s it, works flawless still. Nowadays, most people don’t have that many cars, driving licence, bank card and maybe one more, let’s say gas station members card(circle K card, for instance), all of these fit nicely in a phone case with 5 card slots, so you don’t have to bring TWO things, you only need to bring the phone to have everything in one place.
ridge wallet is now being pushed by ads in central europe – for double price than us. thx for this article – it helped me realize why not to buy it. 1st reason – no space for coins! – we use coins with value up to 2 USD, while lot of things in places where you use cash (pubs, street stands) are cheaper than US (beer from 1.20 USD, street food like hotdog from 1 USD), so you arent effectively able to get rid of coins completely (smallest note in my country equals 4 USD) 2nd reason – all cards are embossed (for no reason nowdays – we pay almost only contactless, with apple pay/google pay etc.., i havent seen offline terminal for more than decade) 3rd reason – 10 cards isnt enough. Yeah, when comparing the knock-offs to Ridge Wallet it is not enough to say “Ridge Wallet is better”. Especially when it is not simple “more expensive”, it is 5 TIMES more expensive. SO the question is, if the price to quality is better or not. In this regard, I am very sceptical you are giving us the full picture here.
Hmmmmm swap my reasonably priced, genuine leather wallet that I can actually feel in my pocket and hides my cash for an overpriced, minimalist designed collection of slabs that exposes my cash and I cannot feel in my pocket. Sorry ridge but the answer is obvious. Your sales pitch is about as genuine and forthright as the obnoxious Dr. Squatch ads back in 2018-19.
Seems far too biased, especially when the knockoffs do the exact same job, are all made in China (including the ridge) and offer the same features. The ridge shouldn’t be anything close to 90 and everyone knows it. You’re just getting scammed. Especially with goated pieces like Trayvax, Hayven and Ogun. This is essentially the ratchet belt issue all over again. Mission had good advertising, till guys like Carhartt and Bulliant took over and sold solid belts for cheaper.
Everyone always compares the ridge wallet to a tri-fold. And I always question: why? I use a bi-fold, and it holds everything I need and is only like 1.5 cm thick. I suppose if you like the aesthetic and value having something marginally smaller, the Ridge is great. But the downsides he discusses of accessing the cards I feel makes bi-folds the best in-between option. But no one ever talks about bi-folds. Only thick bulky tri-folds
I really like the Ridge Wallet so far. However, I recommend you don’t get one that’s magsafe. IMO, they put the magnets on the wrong way in order for the wallet to be used while it’s hooked to your phone. You can put the magnet that came with it on a case, but you’ll lose magsafe charging. shrugs Minor gripe, but something that maybe I didn’t need in the first place.
I’m going to say what I always tell people who ask about it. No, it’s not “worth it”. It’s a luxury item. You’re not getting your money’s worth of product from a product you bought because it looks cool. It may have benefits, it may be very convenient (and it is), but financially it’s not a smart buy. There are mock-up versions for a fraction of the cost all over Amazon, and they will store your cards and cash just the same. That said, I love mine, if anything would happen to it, I would most certainly get another. But that’s the thing, nothing’s happened to it, I’ve had it for over three years, it has suffered inconceivable abuse (I accidentally drove it over with a pickup truck), and yet it’s as cool and eye-catching as it was day one. Before that, my leather wallets would last a year, at the most. Would I recommend this to someone who’s on a tight budget? Most certainly not. Would I recommend this to someone that a) loves how it looks and b) can afford it? Of course.
I wish I could like them and don’t want to talk down, but this is a horrible horrible product. Had it for a week and a half, it’s almost destroyed my cards .. I barely use them and even cleaned up my cards and the inside wallet with alcohol to help with that. I have one embossed card, keep it at the front and the rest are clean and smooth but it doesn’t matter. It’s a bad product and they know, look anywhere they’re involved and wow they have five stars…they cherry pick their reviews. I’ve never returned something in my life, I’m almost 40, I don’t take money too serious at all, but this was the worst product I’ve ever bought that I can remember and I’m waiting for my $200 bucks to come back this week. The most over priced, fantastically marketed rip off I’ve seen. Sorry I’m not mad anymore or just going off. I just want to save a person or two a couple hundred bucks instead of spending it on disappointment
This honestly doesn’t make much sense to me: So, you’re now using a tri-fold wallet. Why not removing your wallet entirely if you could, instead of having 2 pieces of aluminium in your pocket? Like, with this wallet you can’t hold change anymore, so let’s assume you don’t need it if you’re considering buying it. Now, for payments you would use Apple or Google pay. No more change or pieces of paper to hold. For cards like fidelities there’s literally an app that lets you scan and show the barcode. Problem solved?
Ive just done a minute of research on Ridge wallet. Very expensive. Looks neat but might not be very useful it’s hard to remove items compared to traditional wallets. Lots of sponsors pushing it for a quick buck. So the idea that it seems simple and better then a traditional wallet isn’t the case. Il end with I’ve have a leather wallet I got for £10/$13 it’s lasted for years and that’s what am keeping. I expected this wallet to be $30 not $100 🤣
I own the vertical thread wallet, and have loved it. MUCH cheaper than the ridge, and embossed cards work with it. It doesn’t hold as many cards, but I only need my student ID, debit card, driver’s license, and another 2-3 cards anyway. They also have elastic, and bifold wallet, as well as other stuff they make. I’m not affiliated with them in any way other than having met the owner once, super nice and chill guy. Just love the products
Got a Ridge. Have both embossed and non-embossed. Works perfectly. Have about 10-15 cards in them of all types, including a multitool. Any complaints about this wallet having “dealbreaker” issues is a result of the writer being dramatic. As for the card issue in a drive thru? If you had half a brain, you would keep the two most used cards in your wallet on each outer side of the wallet for easy access.
I got one from Gadget Discovery Club that looks exactly like the SHEVROV almost like it’s the same one, except it’s from a company called Rise and it doesn’t have sharp edges. I don’t think it was worth the $40 I paid for that month’s box but I have been looking for a decent wallet alternative and it does the trick for me, so I’m not going to complain.
The wallet is ugly, it’s just two metal sheets and screws and you can’t even hold cash so it’s more of a card holder. Also, you have to take out all of your cards to find the right one and the smaller size makrs it easier to lose. 2/10 would rather buy a $30 dollar leather wallet and have $50 dollars in it rather then spend $80 bucks on this piece of crap
My ridge wallet is a royal pain in my ass. I keep like three cards in it, and I still have to fumble with the thing to get the right card out. A problem that is compounded if you’re carrying stuff. If you have anything that isn’t card shaped, like a temporary paper ID, it will absolutely mangle it. Storing cash is okay if your’e carrying a few bills you never use, but once you break a 20, it just becomes a disorganized mess. I hate this wallet. I’m only using it to cope with the fact that I spent $100 on it.
Try swapping out the money clip for the coin tray. Then you will discover the obvious design flaw as you attempt to unscrew 14 T4 screws (if memory is correct). I managed to get all but 3. Those striped, even when I used my personal T4 drive. Refund was not an issue though as it was all new. So good luck replacing a broken clip.
I haven’t had a wallet at all for about two years now. I use my phone to pay and for ID, hasn’t been an issue even once so far. This won’t work as well in other countries though, I’m in Sweden so everything is up to date with stuff like paying via NFC and using eID. You know beforehand if you are going to a place that only takes cash so you can just use an ATM on the way there (only places I’ve been to like that are some underground clubs/raves, but most take swish or have NFC payment readers).
The price is right up there with designer wallets. For a piece of aluminum. What does this one do that 5$ identical aluminum one off Alibaba doesn’t do? There are FAR better minimalistic aluminium wallets that holds cards in separate compartments so you don’t actually have to stand there and browse through your cards like the Italy 90 WC footballer card collector browsing through his doubles..
Honestly I think you just gave up too quickly. I’ve had my current leather wallet for 10+ years and it’s still great. Much more versatility than the ridge wallet. If you’re saving up for an expensive night out, ridge can only hold so many bills. My wallet is flexible so it can hold a fat stack of bills for special occasions or just the few I have for daily use
Well one feature is missing: Coins. At least I time a week I visit the weekly fresh food market in my town, no one there selling vegetables and fruits is accepting cards… And what if I want to get a Icecream for 1,20€ – will you tell take 5 it’s all right?? Is this only a product for the rich I wonder?
I find your B roll footage of those gift cards extremally offensive and request you place your credit cards back in…along with the security code on the back….I might even forgive you if you let us see your SSN…also good review I’ll leave a like for free. That sub though….it’s going to cost you..
The ridge wallet was one of my worst buy i did in my life … let me explain : 1. Cost, even good leather wallet cost lower than that… so paying metal at this price it’s just ridiculous. 2. Number of cards you can bring, realisticly less that 10 cards. I could just use an elastics to do the same thing. 3. Convenience, there is way better options when it comes to how good you take out your cards and find them and push it back in. 4. Durability, trust me at this price you will scratch it and the price won’t protect it. 5. The feel in your hand is totally irevelant… because you just bougth a wallet so you don’t keep it in your hand that is the purpose of it. And the amount of time you have to keep it in your hands… come on. 6. Look, yeah, that’s what made me buy it in the first place, but after a while you just don’t give a @$#% and after all it’s just meh it’s not like you gonna brag about it. 7. Mecanism will wear off and will become loose after a while. 8. Customisation is non existant and at this price it should come with some other faces so we can swap. Seriously it does not worth it by any means… you will regreat it there is way more better option out there with better quality and more conveniance….
Worlds worst wallet. Uncomfortable, has no flex, so it always feels like a heavy, rigid, mass in your pocket. The wallet is heavy and slippery, it will move around your pocket and can fall out (or launch out) in all sorts of occurrences like playing sports, being in amusement park rides, etc. Stick to the old fashioned bifold leather wallets. Nothing on Earth is more user friendly and practical. The Ridge wallet is no solution, it creates more problems than you started out with….
Why didn’t you cover regular card wallets that give you instant access to 4 to 6 slots for cards (without folding) and one middle slot for cash. I use one and have 8 cards. I never have to search for where a card is to pull it out. 2 per slot. Easy access. No compromises. And it’s actually THINNER than the ridge wallet.
