To change the due date for an assignment in Moodle, follow these steps:
- Click Multi-Select on the Reschedule Assignments page.
- Select the assignments you want to change.
- Select the Add or Subtract Days option.
- Choose how many days to add to your due date and select Apply to Selected Assignment.
- In settings, change the date on your computer to a few days before the due date, save the file, and send it to your professor.
- Streamline your classroom resources by organizing digital work and coordinating with your department.
- Create a semester assignment spreadsheet to save time during midterms and finals.
- Gather the syllabi from all classes and adjust the Due date field to select the deadline for submissions. Homework submitted online past that date will be marked as “Submitted late”.
- If multiple existing due dates aren’t possible, try using Google Calendar and blocking out your day.
- Edit an assignment due date by clicking More Edit next to the assignment.
- Login to Online Moodle and go to your course. Turn editing on, go to the assignment activity you want to update, click Edit > Edit Settings.
- The only way to change the submission date is for the “staff” (or manager role) to edit the student’s submission. In the Assignment Manager, select Manage > Edit dates and status.
- On the Assignments page, from the context menu of the assignment you want to set availability and due dates for, click Edit Assignment. Click the Change Dates button located at the top right of your section’s assignment list. Select how you want to change assignment dates.
