Common Questions: 1. Once you make the clothing will it go to your inventory? A: Yes ! Once you make the clothing and submit it to shop you also get a copy of it in your own inventory. 2. Do u get money/credits for selling items? A: Yes, you make the amount that you specify when uploading it to shop when someone buys the product with credits and not promo credits. If your product is purchased with promo credits, you will receive what is called a creator token. This token lowers the amount of credits you will have to pay to create and upload your next item into the shop. 3. When you create, are you allowed to keep your own creations and wear them for yourself or do you have to buy it all over again? A: You get to keep and wear your own creations. You do not have to buy it. 4. If you have bought a piece of clothing and it’s derivable do you still have to pay for it once you are done creating it? A: Yes, you pay the derivation fee regardless if you have bought the product in the past or not. You shouldn’t and do not have to pay for an item first in order to create anything off of it. You would end up paying twice for the item instead of the one time fee when you upload it to shop. 5. How much does it cost to upload your first product and do you have to pay credits all the time to upload clothes to shop A: You get charged a derivation fee to upload your products to shop. Your basically paying a one time free ( for each upload ) for the mesh itself. It’s usually around 400-500 credits depending on the item.
I know this is random but you have a pair of shoes that i have been looking for for what seems like forever and i cant find them. Im wondering the creator of the shoe and the name. They are on the 2nd row in your inventory, 11th icon across. Black wedges with ankle strap. I would greatly appreciate the info if you dont mind sharing. Thanks!
You only need VIP if your account was made at a certain time ( EDIT: I’m not sure the exact date to not need VIP sorry I’m sure you can look it up though ) Like me for example I’m not VIP I have two room slots and can create without VIP BUT I’ve been on IMVU 9 years ( Date my account was created 1/25/08 ) I have what people call a “grandfather” account 😀
What do you do when a product has no texture map in its bio? The product I want it new and rare but the owner didn’t put a texture map in their bio. I don’t want to just stick a premade texture on the shirt. It looks very lame and “unnatural”. And don’t tell me to just find another product because that’s very annoying. Is there a way to make my own texture map? I need some help people, please.
