To help them, assign specific chores to each room.

To delete a routine, go to Assistant settings > Routines and tap on the Routine you want to stop. Click on the Delete Icon and select the Routine you want to delete. Routines can be a source of structure but can also lead to feelings of unfulfilledness. To combat this, consider making small changes to your daily habits, exploring new environments, pursuing hobbies, traveling, checking off your bucket list, practicing self-care, and being mindful. These practices can rejuvenate your day, boost mental well-being, and bring excitement back into your life.

Routines are essential in our lives, as they help us stay organized and focused throughout the day. They can include getting up in the morning, brushing teeth, taking a shower, eating breakfast or coffee, and going to work or school. These routines help us complete tasks and stay on track, ensuring a balanced and enjoyable life. If you need more support, consider reaching out to a therapist for guidance.

This extension allows users to minimize the range of morning hours on their Google Calendar, allowing only the title of events during those hours. To install the extension, click “Add to Chrome” from the official Chrome Web Store. Open the calendar in Chrome and find a small gray handle at the top of the times on the left. Drag it down to hide morning hours. To show them again, click the gray hidden hours. This extension is useful for setting working hours that fit your schedule and removing unnecessary white space during times you’re out of the office or sleeping.

It currently works if the language of Google Calendar is set to English (US), with support for more languages coming soon. However, the extension’s implementation is poor, as it shifts the calendar content and adds white space underneath instead of displaying the actual time.

  • James’ book is terrific, I just finished it, and I savored every chapter–I found myself nodding my head so many times thinking, “Damn, so simple, and makes so much sense.” I have already applied some concepts in simple ways, and yes, the ideas and strategies in the book definitely have value and really are effective. I’ll be reading it again to better apply even more to my daily routines and habits. This interview didn’t scratch the surface, which is all you can do in 3 1/2 minutes. Then it’s compounded by interviewers who haven’t read the book and really don’t have effective questions, and further, as per the ‘morning show’ routine…their comments are just dumb. Anyway, great book James, keep up the good work!
