The Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) show was quickly taken over by the outfit of former White House aide Sean Spicer, who wore a neon yellow puffy shirt. Anna Delvey, a controversial con artist who posed as a German heiress, is turning heads on the show for her controversial past and her appearance. Spicer’s outfit choice caused a frenzy on social media, with fans expressing confusion about his choices.
Spicer, who served as the White House Press Secretary and Communications Direction under President Donald Trump in 2017, sent the social media platform into a frenzy with his outfit choice. Delvey is currently under house arrest in New York while awaiting a court decision on her deportation back to Germany. Spicer, dressed in a puffy, highlighter-yellow shirt, pounded on bongo drums and wiggled on the stage for just under a minute on Monday night.
Despite the blowback from the DWTS casting news, Spicer made his dancing debut on ABC last night in a blinding neon-green blouse. He lied to the American people and was awarded the opportunity to be a contestant in “Dancing With The Stars”. Spicer is auctioning off his now-famous neon green ruffle shirt, with the money going to a good cause. His performance in the ruffly attire came amid controversy, as many, including the show’s host Tom Bergeron, condemned his inclusion on the ABC series’ cast.
