Infinity Train, a popular comedy and crime series, is a subreddit that features a humorous scene where the animators have a good laugh out of making their homework. The show follows the tight plotting and quirky intensity of Fargo, with Jeff Bridges, John Goodman, and Julianne Moore playing characters. Homework is something that students have to do themselves, either by writing text or solving equations or by memorizing things. Focusing on homework can be tough, especially when one’s attention wanders back to their phone or stomach. Procrastination when it comes to homework isn’t just an issue of laziness or lack of motivation.

To address the root cause of procrastination, it is important to first address the root cause of the problem. Discovering how to focus on homework can go beyond schoolwork and actually support you in many other activities you want to do. Concentration is one of the key aspects of focusing on homework.

BU Today interviewed Bempechat and Erin Bruce, a new fourth-grade teacher at a suburban Boston school and future teacher freshman. They discussed ways to make sure students get their homework done and meet their other commitments. The meme “Do you ever just look at your homework like this?” suggests that students should prepare, rehearse, know their stuff, and then simply show up. If they don’t do the homework, they may face consequences such as lowered grades, missed learning opportunities, or potential disciplinary actions.
