A Child Care Redetermination is a process where a family’s eligibility for child care assistance is reevaluated. The IDHS Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) helps families enjoy quality child care by working with providers to provide the necessary care. The redetermination packet is sent to families, and MEC2 generates a cover letter and mails the necessary forms 45 days prior to the redetermination.
