Anderson Cooper, a CNN host, has revealed that he and his ex-partner Benjamin Maisani will be co-parenting their two sons, Wyatt Morgan and Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper, together as a family. Cooper welcomed his first child, Wyatt Morgan Maisani-Cooper, via surrogate on April 27, 2020. He shared the news in a heartfelt Instagram post and on his CNN show, Anderson Cooper 360°. Cooper explained that his son was named after his late father, Wyatt.

In February 2022, Cooper welcomed his second son, Sebastian Luke Maisani-Cooper, via surrogate. Cooper and his ex-partner Benjamin Maisani are co-parenting their two sons, born through surrogacy in 2020 and 2022. Cooper opened up about the joys of co-parenting with his ex, explaining that they have a steady and stable co-parenting dynamic.

  • My children (10 and 8) were in car during this portion of the interview. I mentioned this portion to my wife during dinner that evening and my 10 year old mentioned something about the interview. I love that it is not even a thing for my children to hear about gay people being married or having children.
