  • i never even realized that pony boy is literally just a kid like he thinks he’s just hanging out with his friends and somebody gets killed. you can see him freaking out and johnny is staying calm throughout this scene. he’s only 14 and even though he’s part of the gang he really is still just a young boy not ready for all this.

  • Sometimes I wonder how it would be like if Dally had a sister like a younger sister around Ponyboy’s age like that brother and sister love him being protective of her but like then it wouldn’t really be fair to her cause he dies plus how would they be living like their living conditions but I still think it would be pretty interesting if he had a sister idk lol just random thoughts

  • I always love scenes like this where young characters find themselves in strange places looking for help. Songs like “Loveless Motel” fit them real well too. But everyone at Buck Merrill’s house is partying and kicking back and here are Pony and Johnny straggling for some guidance as to what to do. God I love this movie, and I’m so glad I read the book before to know every detail

  • “Also it’s possible a bus filled with kids comes to the abandoned church in the middle of nowhere because demented teachers sometimes plan field trips to abandoned churches so elementary school kids can learn all kind of interesting facts about abandoned churches in the middle of nowhere. This is completely normal. Happens all the time. Don’t even sweat it.”
