What Is President Trump’S Opinion On Homeschooling?

Former President Donald Trump has pledged to support families who homeschool if he wins the 2024 presidential election, stating that he will be the “champion” of homeschooling families. He vowed to protect the God-given right of every parent to be the steward of their children and push for universal school choice, expanded parental rights over education, and ended teacher tenure. However, homeschooling regulation is up to states, with some advocates arguing that it is often lax. A pre-election survey data showed that 58% of homeschool parents supported Trump in 2020, a 4-point dip from the previous election.

The pandemic has made it possible for more dual-income, middle-class households to homeschool their children for the first time. Millions of families are homeschooling their children this fall for the first time, which could have been a boon for President Trump’s campaign, as conservative homeschooling is a conservative option. Trump pledged to allow homeschool parents to use 529 education savings accounts to spend up to $10,000 a year per child, but he did not have any plans to improve public schools.

Trump recently proposed billions in spending to allow the nation’s poorest students to leave public schools and enroll elsewhere. Homeschooling stands out among non-traditional schooling options, far outpacing other forms of remote education. When reelected, Trump will do everything he can to support parents who make the courageous choice of homeschooling.

  • Home schooling is vital at this time. You do not let young children walk alone to school. You don’t let them play in the park alone. Due to sexual predators. Sending children to public schools, for that very reason. The child predators are teaching & indoctrinating your children, for the sex industry.

  • People here are using the term “indoctrination” to accuse schools for teaching a variety of topics, but homeschool their children teaching them ONLY what they want. Who is indoctrinating children? Per definition, Indoctrination is to teach (someone) to fully accept the ideas, opinions, and beliefs of a particular group AND TO NOT consider other ideas, opinions, and beliefs. The fact that they don’t even know what indoctrination means shows you all you need to know about them and confirms they should not be allowed to homeschool children.

  • President Biden reminds me of the former pastor of St. Brendan’s Church of Bronx, New York. Several years ago, Fr. Raul was nominated as the pastor of St. Brendan’s Church of the Bronx, N.Y. There was a 24 hour lower church that he closed. Now the upper church is not open as much as it used to be. He closed the bathrooms using covid as a justification. He stopped the film series, using the pandemic as an excuse. In addition, he placed barricades between the pews which make the place feel more like a museum than a church. Even though there is a funeral home nearby, he stopped the church calendar. He stopped the Tenebrae masses. He avoid showing up for confession and uses another priest often. If I ask the priest Fr. Perez a question about God during confession then he may say that I am disrupting the process. He is available by appointment only even for the deacon. The pastor avoids saying sermons for his daily masses and saying “Body of Christ” when giving the Holy Communion. He has avoided answering theological questions. He also avoided going to masses and events done by others in the parish. Yet this pastor got renominated. In a similar way, President Biden could get reelected too. My daughter will vote for this president again no matter what he does. My dad will follow it.

  • Trump is gonna be the next President. I’d put a million on that just to double my money because he’s Great, Astonishing Man and money talks, and people like me love more money. I’d like 10k per kid, for last year home schooling. Just another great reason why I’d vote for Donald J. Trump😘😍 Lovely Downs
