  • I talk about fatherless daughters and daddy issues on my website because coming from a single parent household it really moved me to see a black father stepping up while grieving. I loved seeing Hart in a non-comic role. The duo with the little girl really worked out (& loved seeing Anthony Kavannah also) It also raising awareness about black women pragnancy & childbirth mortality

  • Two big fat thumbs up for this movie, 👍🏻👍🏻 I’m still tearing, and he better win an award, this movie reminds me of movies that came out before the Covid hit, so natural, funny and most of all endearing, there is no movie that Alfre Woodard stars in that is not hands-down awesome, 🥰I loved the entire cast, old school, mid-school, and cute little new school 😇from Florida be safe all✌🏻😷

  • I ask you for a minute of your time to help me fulfill my dream of being an artist for the short time I have left in life I have cancer and I am disabled without friends why I cannot leave my house because of the bullying that they do to me why I was not lucky enough to have a good physique but I love myself as I am because that was what I got blessings and God bless you all

  • My pregnant wife recently passed away and left behind my 1 year old daughter and I. When he said “I wish he would’ve left your mommy because she would’ve been better. Mommy was the best.”, I broke down because it’s so true. Feels like this movie was made just for my daughter and I. Life without her has been hell, but my daughters future is all I care about now. I truly appreciate the mass amounts of love you all have showed me. Thank you so much, staying as strong as I can.❤️

  • I am a single dad with 2 kids (6 and 4 yrs old). Yes, they live with me and there are just 3 of us here in apartment. Their mom passed away last year. Raising kids without their mom is hard. Hard not just because you take the responsibilities all by yourself. Hard because you lost someone that you love so much where every thing work perfectly then suddenly one day it’s gone. It’s more painful than any heart break or break ups. I supposed to spend the rest of my life with her and our kids. Unfortunately, it didn’t happen and I realized that she spent the rest of her life with me. Every day is hell not because that I am a single father, its because It really hard to bear the sadness every time I miss my wife and that’s where most of the pain is coming from. I haven’t watch this movie yet but the trailer already made me cry. When Kevin Hart said “With Liz, I didn’t get to hold her hand. She was gone”, same thing happen to me. I didn’t get the chance to hold and touch her hand. Didn’t get the chance to see her and talk to her . “Two kisses, one for mommy and one for daddy”, every night, I do this to my sons. Definitely, I will watch this movie tonight after I put my kids on the bed.

  • I have always thought that when ever I watched a Kevin Hart movie, I would always know what to expect. Well never again will I ever judge a book by its comedic past. Don’t get me wrong, I have many happy, hilarious, side splitting memories of Kevin’s previous endeavour. But Fatherhood was something special, a sensitive side to Kevin that I really surprised me. I’m not gonna lie, I did shed a tear or two. The fact that he’s acting was so believable, makes me question why hasn’t he done this sooner. I think that Kevin is comfortable with the comedy roles he portraits, but he can deliver true magic when he steps out of he’s comfort zone. Best movie of the year so far. Can’t wait to see what he does next.

  • I’ve been a single dad since my daughter was 3 days old and still in the NICU and my son was 15 months old. It’s been just the 3 of us for 5 years now and he just graduated kindergarten today and she starts in the fall. I couldn’t be more proud of them. This trailer spoke to my soul on every single level.

  • i was perusal this trailer with my parents near by. lately i have been fighting with them especially with my dad, yesterday i hurted him with stupid words and this trailer made me look at him and realize how much i love him. i love you dad even though i dont have the courage to apologize after what i said to you yesterday. you will always be my one and only king.

  • This movie was refreshing to see. It shows you the struggles of being a single dad most ppl don’t acknowledge.. definitely an emotional movie on some parts. Or maybe it’s just my cycle getting close so I’m emotional, but it was really good. 💜 Had some funny parts of course, some really sad moments, and also moments that make you root for him bc he tends to put himself down and the ppl around him didn’t think he could do it either so he fed into it. All the new/single dads out there, y’all are appreciated for never giving up on your piece of joy. It’s not easy but you’ve got this! 💜 a beer 🍺 for the super-dads out there my treat! ✨✨😂 And it’s based off of a book called “two kisses for Maddy a memoir of loss and love” 💜 Edit: HAPPY SUPER-DADS day kings! 💜✨

  • If you haven’t given this movie a chance because you think it’s another basic Kevin hart movie, please GIVE IT A CHANCE. It made me cry from the literal first scene to the last scene. Kevin is such an underrated actor due to his comedic background, nothing but respect to the man this time around. 👍🏽

  • Not only did they acting, the story made me feel so refreshing, i loved how the girl wanted to wear pants and the as a parent, the dad was okay with it. Just like it should be. I’m so tired of everyone says we should dress this way and that way, I’m so glad i got to see a parent not forcing his daughter into the social norms.

  • 1:12 “Ya think you can do this, but you can’t” “Naw man, you’re right…I can’t do it, but you know what? I’m gonna do it, because I am a FATHER!” Women we’re told for centuries they can’t do something and they persevered. In the last 30+ years, Men have been told we can’t be the primary parent… step aside women….and watch us be awesome Dad’s!

  • Kevin, you nailed it. IDK who or what made you an awesome actor but you deserve major props for your skills in this. The cast too. Great presentation!!!. Dude, you hit this outta the park. I’ve been a single father for years and its the most awesome struggle that lights you up ten fold upon fruition. Thank You.

  • I cried all the way through this film. I nearly stopped perusal. I almost died during my 2nd c section last year and it really hit home perusal this. I really felt like my husband and babies really need me here. I’ve never felt like such an important part of all their lives. Anyone who’s a mum knows you don’t always feel important. And I was so so sad thinking what life would be like for them if I wasn’t here.

  • I’m in the same boat. My baby girl is a year and a half now. I sweat she looks more and more like her mom every day. It’s going to be hard the day she asks why she doesn’t have a mommy. I just hope I have the strength like the father in this story to keep overcoming all obstacles and teacher my daughter about womanhood with no idea of how.

  • This movie will be the best for me. I dont have a father since i was a baby. Parents divorced and then my father died. Never had a chance to meet my father. The only time i met him is just few hours before his last breath. It still haunts me today why i didnt make an effort to find some times with him but i was still a kid back then. There is always a hole in my heart yearning for a father when i older. I just want to at least say i love you pa.

  • Never EVER did I EVER think in a billion years that I would EVER find myself crying those deep cries watch a Kevin Hart flick. WHOA!!! I’m probably going to watch it again several more times. Being a single parent is SO hard. Kevin was phenomenal playing this role. There needs to be more movies like this. BRAVO 👏👏👏
